  1. RBs get the ball a ton while a WR can be open all day long and not see any action unless the QB gets him involved.
  2. Punters should all be required to wear the one-bar facemask.
  3. Home jerseys from 02-10 were the worst, in my opinion.
  4. Pittsburgh has been doing it for over 20 years, and we just copied them with a markedly worse song. I dunno, to each his own I guess. Not a big deal either way, but I want to be on the record as a "Shout" guy lol.
  5. You just know he watched the Miami game last night and was livid that we didn't go with a more flattering blacked-out alternate like they did.
  6. This is my issue. You used virtually all of your draft and free agency capital on defense and it looks worse than ever. The injuries and suspensions are out of their hands to some degree, but they should still have some serviceable depth given how many resources they've allocated to the defense, and that obviously isn't the case.
  7. This is the kind of stuff that newish NBA franchises do when they're trying to inorganically build tradition. The whole "Mr. Brightside" thing falls under this dynamic too, by the way. It's kind beneath a franchise like the Bills, in my opinion, but I think there is a big push across the league to appeal to the under-25 crowd. Seems the NFL is having trouble with viewership in that demo, and this is they type of stuff they like, I guess.
  8. These Dolphin uniforms are comical. Reminds me of mid-90s Arena teams.
  9. He's not as good a passer as Kordell was, in my opinion Terrelle Pryor, maybe. Will probably be forced to change positions at some point.
  10. Hurts had zero second-half completions yesterday, and Philly still beat an undefeated team on the road.
  11. It's insane, when you think about it. The offense barely has any rhythm, they can't scheme receivers open, and they still get their points. Sky is the limit if they can figure out how to clean things up.
  12. Baker Mayfield at +2200 seems like it has good value.
  13. What i think we're seeing is the NFL shifting from being a traditional sports league to a form of entertainment that exists to satiate fantasy players and gamblers. It's unfortunate, but there is just a lot of stuff that is now normal that is not good for competitive integrity (international games, 17-game season where certain teams get an extra home game, etc). Yesterday was a good example of that. One of the most penalized teams in football getting 1/5th of their season average of penalties while the team tied for fewest penalties getting more than double their average really suggests that the crew was told to keep that game competitive, for whatever reason. I mean, they were ignoring obvious holds by New Orleans and calling multiple penalties on Buffalo's long-snapper.
  14. You can only play the teams on your schedule. They're winning, and although I personally think they look pretty sloppy across the board, you might as well get that out of the way now rather than in Dec/Jan.
  15. Brady is probably a bigger problem than McDermott, to be honest.
  16. He quit on a season before, in 2022, because he didn't like his contract situation. Why is it crazy to think he'd quit on a game? Dude is a front-runner.
  17. I think he knows it's not his strong suit. He developed a boilerplate speech that he uses for wins, and it does the job. But yeah, I don't think we're not going to see him pull a Pacino in Any Given Sunday anytime soon.
  18. That series where they ran four consecutive times and turned it over on 4th down, during a crucial point of the game, just cannot happen with Josh Allen at QB. And Joe Brady needs to be explicitly told it cannot happen.
  19. Collinsworth with a horrific dye job. Wow.
  20. It's never his fault. Even in the playoffs games where he has put up complete duds, the media would just blame the offensive coordinator.
  21. Baltimore's schedule gets a lot easier. They'll unfortunately probably go on a run.
  22. We all know that Allen gets absolutely excoriated during periods where he is throwing a few picks here and there. Do the talking heads ever criticize Jackson for losing virtually every big game he plays in or is that a taboo subject?
  23. Jimmy Garoppolo and Deshaun Watson have higher career passer ratings than Tom Brady. Enough said.
  24. At one point late in the season last year, there was an analytics chart going around that showed that Allen's receiving targets got the least separation in football. Wanna take a guess which QB was throwing to the receivers who were most open?
