  1. Happy B-Day to Mrs B!!! She deserves a special gift for putting up with beer
  2. thanks my Bills brotha's and sisters! This ones for you Johnny
  3. How well did JK and the Bills perform in the preseason under Marv Levy? Did JK have a someone when he played with the kind of clout Jim kelly has now complaining about what went on in the preseason? With a reshuffled Oline and new WR's? I don't think so I've watched JK complain about every QB the Bills have had over the last few years and I don't think it does the confidence of the football team any good. On the other hand, I'm very, very happy to have JK around the team and complaing about our QB situation again, Jim must be feeling better
  4. The Bills have taken big steps in hopes of giving EJ Manuel the kind of help/supporting cast he needs to become successful in the NFL. Many of the faces are new and raw, but with very high ceilings. Oline is just now settled and our number 1 target in Sammy Watkins has been missing for a couple of games. The Bills are still a work in progress including our inexperienced signal caller. I love JK, I really do, but EJ Manuel doesn't need the added pressure IMO...
  5. Thanks guys, Note: All networks have to go by the NFL blackout rules regardless If its nationally televised or not. If the stadium doesn't sell out early enough, its blacked out. ( In the local viewing area)
  6. Was it sold out early enough to lift a blackout though Yo?
  7. EJ and the teams health is always my biggest concern as we prepare to start the regular season. I want the Bills to score points.(enough to win) I want the D to continue stopping the run.
  8. Joe, I agree on the skins Offense looking better when Cousins was running it. I'm not so sure about RGIII. Some signal callers like Johnny Manziel, Cam Newton, and you could put RGIII into this category, are not your typical pocket passing QB's and need an Offense suited/built around their skill set IMO. Myself personally, I'm a fan of JF, but It was the right decision giving Hoyer the start. Especially considering half Hoyers throws were dropped. Hoyer knows how to read an opposing NFL Defense, and its a job requirement Manziel has barely scratched the surface on. Good call HC Pettine Note: Reading all the discussions lets keep in mind Its not always the QB's fault when a play isn't executed properly. One play where JF threw behind his TE, its because he expected the TE to sit down in the middle of the zone Defense. TE made the mistake, but JF takes the blame for being off target. (Just goes with the territory)
  9. hahaha, thanks Nucci I really like this new wrinkle and wouldn't mind seeing the change made
  10. He did, im not sure the ball ever hit the ground with him behind center...
  11. yes, I do concede the amount of times JF runs the ball increases his chance of injury
  12. Matching a players skill set/ style of play with the scheming/ Offense they run is very important and helps prevent injury IMO.
  13. You do agree by being elusive, it cuts down on the number of hits, no? You do agree a QB without mobility can get injured because of it, no?
  14. I tried to illustrate there are many factors that can increase the chance of getting a player injured. I also tried to show some players are simply more durable then otheres. Cam Newtons big, but still defies the odds of injury because hes also very durable. small players can also be durable...
  15. Big, less elusive QB's will take more hits than a smaller more elusive QB correct? Smarter QB's will take less hits then dumber QB's correct? Stands to reason QB's on young inexperienced football teams without a good supporting cast might have a higher probablity of injury correct? Stands to reason inexperienced rookies are more likely to sustain injury then veterans correct?
  16. very good point Buffaloed, or QB's like Mike Vick
  17. I understand that Gu, but in comparison Barry Sanders ran with the ball much more then manziel ever will, I'm not sure what the percenteges are, but manziel has a great arm and some folks are under the impression that all he does is run.
  18. Barry Sanders was 5 foot 8 and weighed less then JF. By your logic, wouldn't Barry sanders have been injured constantly throughout his carreer?
  19. I could name a few big QB's that are very injury prone and what does it prove?
