  1. Lets make sure we don't forget an important part of JF's skill set, hes very elusive. Elusivness equates to taking less hard hits IMO... Hes harder to hit, so it balances out IMO Note: We could get real technical here to prove a heavier object could have a longer sustained impact because a heavier object is more stationary then a lighter object.
  2. So what your saying is with an adjustment in play, which by the way every collegiate QB has to make the adjustment, Manziel shouldn't have any more of a problem then a bigger QB. Thanks
  3. perhaps durable is a better word, lol Lots of small players play in the NFL, Bills had a CB once upon a time that was pound for pound considered one of the hardest hitters in the league at 170 Lbs. Injury wasn't a problem...
  4. Kids tougher then most folks give him credit and after watching his highlights its obvious to me JF is going to pick up right where he left off at the collegiate level IMO. Might take a few games to get comfortable with the Offense/supporting cast, but I expect JF to start tearing up the league just like he said he would this season.
  5. Texans are starting Ryan Fitzpatrick , one of the biggest turnover machines in the NFL. Its an unfair assessmnet to lay on a 2nd year player who spent much of his 1st season injured IMO. Not to mention new Offense being installed, whole new coaching staff, sub par WR corp, list goes on and on...
  6. Well said, its all about putting a hat on a hat and winning your battle. We are bigger, faster, stronger and more talented then we have been in years. Out physical your opponent...
  7. Practice and preseason is as much about evaluating players as it is getting ready to play. Myself personally, I don't read to much into a player like Hogan with the 1st team because its the best way to evaluate him IMO.
  8. Merging them might be better IMO If a mod wouldn't mind assisting you. Then just add week /2 That way anyone wanting to browse through the whole training camp tweets can find them all in one thread.
  9. wait a minute, i thought we were talking about the no huddle pace, IMO you get the Offensive playbook down 1st before going on to bigger, and in this case faster things, Now doesn't that make more sense ? Note: Tuel is getting the plays off in 17 seconds so far this year in practice (average), Bills QB's combined are averaging 20-24 seconds in between plays.
  10. My thoughts are, it was a new Offense being installed, new coaching saff, rookie /inexperienced QB's, sub par WR corp, and a list of injuries Buffalo had to try and overcome. We haven't even see the real Marrone/ Hackett Offense yet IMO...
  11. We watched 16 games at a fast pace last season, with a D that desrved a better outcome...
  12. IMO new ST's rules has altered the scheming enough coaches may need a season or two to get back on track. As far as OC goes I think the coaching staff has been doing a wonderful job with young, inexperienced signal callers.
  13. If the Offense doesn't start getting its act together the no huddle should be dropped IMO...
  14. I 3rd the thanks, great idea for a thread Yodeling Yo from Ohio, thanks man
  15. The Russell Wilson model is surround your QB with good weapons and a good Defense. Most young, inexperienced signal callers always try to do to much IMO...
  16. thats about how I feel John, theres lots to like about Thad Lewis from my perspective, Shows good leadership, mental toughness, quick release, live arm, seems to have a good handle on the Offense, maybe even better then EJ, My biggest concern with Thad lewis is small hands which equates to fumbles IMO...
