Gruden? No, thank you. He took a team that was mostly built by Tony Dungy to the Super Bowl. Can he do it with his own team?
-
It should Orton until we are eliminated from the playoffs, then go back to EJ.
-
I will have to say it again. Evaluate once opposing defenses get the book on him.
It's not like there isn't plenty of book on him already. He has a better line, better skill players, better offensive system, better coaching.

The 41 yard run TD on 4th and 1 by Charles.
Same here.

I agree and I think the Bills will be playing NE week 17 for the division title.
Even after losing to Green Bay and Denver?
-
Totally agree!! What is a young team with a .500 or better record and worlds of cap space to do? They are surely going to go go from 8-10 wins to 4 the next year! I mean add Kiko to that defense, that should subtract a couple of wins.
How much cap space do we have?

I think Marrone (and Hackett) get one more year. Pegula seems like he can exercise a little more patience. This question would best be revisted after the end of the regular season.

I missed this one by only this much!

You guys are cold.....The Wilson's should at least be allowed to break even.....
$25,000
Thanks for knocking me out of the running...

You mean when Todd Collins and Billy Joe Hobert were our quarterbacks?
As opposed to the Pro Bowl quarterbacking we had the last two seasons?
-
I think people on this board are either young or have a short memory. We spent a third round pick, for which we gave up. seventh round pick, for Graham. He is going into his third year,, which is when many WRs break out.
All that being said, could somebody please remind me what Eric Moulds did his first two seasons to justify the 1st round pick we spent on him?

I have to trust Cuomo to give major funding for a new stadium or the next owner could move when the lease allows. Ideal way would be for new owner to be so rich , he would pay for the new stadium himself.
Wasn't Jerry Jones in that position? How much of his $$$ did he fork over that palatial stadium?
-
Let's hope and pray that this young man can overcome his condition and have a long, happy, and productive life.

I don't care if it's offensive to anyone. The fact that the United States of America has a football team in it's nation's capital named after a race of people it tried to ethnically cleanse, is over the top. Either change the name, or change the mascot to a potato.
And offend corn? What about peas?

WASHINGTON — Fifty members of the Senate have signed a letter to the N.F.L. to urge its leadership to press the Washington Redskins to change the team name in the aftermath of tough sanctions against the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers for racially charged comments.
Glad to see they're not concerned about small things like the $17,000,000,000,000+ national debt.

I think they had a great draft. I'm not a kool-aid drinker either. Kiper would have given them a C- regardless of who they selected. They fixed all their holes: another playmaker, check; possession receive (Williams); check; offensive line help, check; run stopping; check. Great safety (Ladler) in UDFA, check.
In reality, if Henderson puts down the pot, they got 3 first round talents this year (Watkins, Konjo, and Henderson) who can make instant impacts. How that is a C- is beyond me.
Because you dared to not to what the great Mel Kiper, Jr, said you should do. </sarcasm>

That's why you play the games.

I'm studying for my doctorate in public administration.

Just like we didn't care when we had no first round pick the year after the Bennett trade. Who was the player we got in the 2nd that year? Gee, I just can't place him...
GO BILLS!!!
Didn't we see him wearing a yellow jacket in Canton, OH?
-
Cleveland has a rich history of showing that they know what they are doing with multiple high draft picks. Be very afraid.
And with those picks they have won just as many Super Bowls as we have.

Hate it! Feel almost as bad as I did after the Roscoe Parrish pick. I said when Roscoe came out he was too small to ever be a #1 or #2 receiver and you only use 2nd round picks on guys who can be a #1 or #2 receiver. That 5.6 40 time is just too trouble for me. Might be able to play guard, but never tackle! I want to be wrong!
So, we don't line him up as a tackle eligible.

I hope you're used to the leftovers, because that's really what we're getting next year. EJ smiling - no doubt about that.
Thurman Thomas was our first pick in 1988 as a second-rounder. Was he a leftover?
-
If we can get Jawaun James in round 2 and Niklas in round 3, OMG.
I'm happy with any combo of OT/TE, unless there is a surprising talent remaining on the board when it's our turn.
I was thinking ASJ in round 2 and Cameron Fleming in round 3.

Bills History with round 1 WR's has some similarities to today...
1983, Round 1 / Pick 19: Perry Tuttle, WR, Clemson
1979, Round 1 / Pick 5: Jerry Butler, WR, Clemson
Tuttle was picked in 1982. Our first-rounders in 1983 were Tony Hunter and Jim Kelly.
