We already know that AJ McCarron is not an NFL starting QB , because starting/franchise QB’s do not make it past the 3rd overall pick !!
And how do you explain Jim Kelly making it to # 14 and Dan Marino to #27?

He is going to talk of " no stones left unturned" and proceed to question whether or not the mic is on.

Well it was as Shady called him the short fat man who traded him so it was more on one person than the entire organization.
But I agree - no way I would trade Shady......too much fun to watch him....now if the O-Line would/could block like the Electric Factory, ALL the time he would top OJ's yardage in a single season......
Kiko hardly hits......nuff said
Don't you mean the Electric Company?

Glen and Lyle Blackwood played safety for the Dolphins in the 70's/80's.

I am also all in on this.
Bring Wade Phillips and/or Dick Jauron back as red flag advisers in the booth.
I want Wade to coach punt catchers.

Any way to know if the Bills got these helmets?

Also, the 49ers still need a QB. If anyone thinks getting KC's #25 picks next year helps us get a QB you are wrong
Likely top 3 teams picking will all need QB's (Browns, 49ers, Jets)
Why not? Marino was #27.

Oh if he went to Valdosta State then we are all set
Yeah, you have to be wary about a school who would award me a Doctorate in Public Administration. Go Blazers!

Terry had a 1000 yard season no? Tuttle did zilch
I expect more than that from a first-round pick.
Terry Miller had a good rookie season (1,000+ yards rushing) and then was replaced by Joe Cribbs
A first rounder replaced by a second rounder.
-
For me, it's a toss up between Terry Miller and Perry Tuttle.

He's versatile....look for him to play some safety as well.
And FB and slot corner, too?

Leaks left after the 1983 season.

What's so great about McCoy? He's not going to have rivers or Peyton here.
Didn't he win a playoff game with Tim Tebow?

The media is full of people who are hell bent on attempting to force Terry and Kim Pegula to bend to their will. I perceive that Terry is a gentleman, but you don't accomplish what he has without backbone. Now is his time to tell the media to have a Coke and a smile, and to press on with what he's doing.

Over under 9 pts. 6-3
In overtime.

I seem to recall that Deion Sanders wasn't a great tackler, either. How many of us would have loved to have him on our roster?

I looked at the title to this thread and though to myself, "Do you really need the help?"

"oh, my, I'd better watch what I say! The media or the fans might get upset!"
Come off it people! Some of us in this world say what we mean, mean what we say, and stand by it, regardless of what other might think.

Well ... no. I don't think anyone is banking on the 139th pick overall to be the franchise QB.
Tom Brady.

Jarran Reed, Andrew Billings.
Vernon Butler, maybe?

I thought Clay was the starter at TE.

Do you need to draft a QB in the early 1st round in order to have a franchise QB?
Jim Kelly: Pick #14-right in the middle of a then 28-team league
Dan Marino: Pick #27 of the same draft
Brett Favre, Drew Brees: 2nd round
Joe Montana:3rd round
Tom Brady: 6th round, pick #199
My point is that you can draft a QB outside of the first round, develop him, surround him with talent, and install the right system, and he can be a franchise QB.
On the other hand, how many 1st-round QBs have been draft busts? JeMarcus Russell, Todd Marinovich, EJ Manuel, JP Losman, Ryan Leaf, just to name a few.
