  1. Nothing stands out does it. Bills had the 2 vets next to each other which surely helped Dion out. But now. it's trial by fire. some folks talk about the time it takes to develop a QB. But i put a lot of weight into getting an O line settled down for the long term. and that means swing tackle and back ups. interior from center out is underrated when paying LT and now RT. Its the center who defines the snap.and what happens soon after. This is were reps count.QB Ctr and the rest work from that cadence and timing Hard to get settled when everyone is competing to start
  2. well i was going to bring up Milano Edmunds duo improved over the Cincy game..... But in this case ? I think it best to just agree. darnit : (
  3. This is my hot take too. line for line quite nearly : ) I might think they thought Peteman was servicable and under the right conditions ? He likely would be ! But lest we forget, the whole Team Sucked
  4. That part of the story(bolded bit) might be less considered than most thoughts here . Mine would.
  5. Actually , i think that is the case with the meaningful draft picks. Scouts interview the folks who might best know the player. The closer to the 1st pick , the higher the level of scrutiny. and the more eyes on those players as well. The parents have lost the tweet before beginning it. Rabbit hole that only got deeper. and as i have said , media folks made use of the fodder. nothing good going on here.
  6. I love you. not in the funny business way though. Great post. Go Josh Allen ! The rocket ship is staged and ready. Hang on everyone !
  7. why would you feel embarrassed ? Its a game. I was proud to say i watched the whole thing. One of the most painful games i have seen in years though. I had to close one eye more than once in the first half ! well we tried to protect him starting Nate, that failed epically. He is going to do the pressers. Hope he has a good Coach for that part of the game !
  8. always respect your posts : )
  9. this was an Excellent statement from him. And True. I applaud it actually. just words. You and i both know Brian Daboll has a say. I hope sooner than later he gets to pick Coaches and assist McBeane's on types of players to acquire. Cuz McBeanes sure cannot build an Offense to save their lives.
  10. and Zay the yet to be, might well be compared to Shuster when playing GM that year
  11. McD and Daboll had three unproven guys. No way they knew who the best player was going to be. Bowles said for weeks J. McCown was the starter possibly readier. maybe not ready. i know , semantics. But maybe Peterman was in place to keep the seat for Allen warm. Everyone should have known Allen was next up. Just a matter of time. It is an argument neither of us can win though. as it turns out J Allen is getting 1st team reps now ! But with the Bills Offense ? i am not sure it is really much advantage lol. they all look like tryouts to me. except Shady.
  12. Allen even said he had trouble processing the Defenses he saw in preseason. Kid needed time. well thats out the freaking window. and fair / earn is the same a best man wins. Peterman did win. and thats not good in hindsight
  13. That was a Whaley pick ???? Maybe neighbours ? you did that ?
  14. oh stop. thats silly. we need an O line Coach first. why sacrifice another player (s). to humiliation and hatred ?
  15. Likely just a good Dad. Tweeting and the Instant message world is surely one of the flags letting us know the World collective consciousness is reducing as quickly and dramatically as the Glaciers are melting and Ocean are warming. At an exponentially accelerating pace. Normal folks turn into idiots whether posting or responding to impulse. This is a fine example. Its a Dad who put himself in the line of fire. ( not wise ) The reporters carrying it forward and adding a bit of fuel ? kinda shameful. John Wawrow makes a fair statement. Mr Jones would do well to just bow out gracefully. Like stepping in dog poo reading this
  16. I do hate to go there. But does not seem like a mensa candidate. he would be a great red zone target if he had decent hands and could catch though
  17. I agree he was having a rough outing, and as the day went worse he seemed flummoxed. Likely why they pulled him. But if you are going to drop your guys into a hot LZ you better get up some protection and hunker down, after knocking out the incoming for a couple. If Bills had made a couple plays early on ? Ravens would not have teed off. It remains a concern. or maybe he is that stiff? Or maybe he is not smart enough to protect a ball he cannot pull in. Wrs also have to defend the ball in the air at times. I have not been a fan of KB is is supposedly healthy this year. This game reinforced my dislike.
  18. Yes. this is true. And Jest would be silly to let him go. It would be billsy
  19. Ah. I thought since he had nearly been promised to start via media, they might take something for him. Like Lawson maybe..
  20. no he didn't. Flash , I mean. but i would not have dumped him for nothing with out some very good reason. Bills will need bodies soon enough to at least lean in once the ball is snapped... Groy is best at center even after a bad game.
  21. Left Guard. Groy to left guard fool ! you could get Josh right now i bet
