  1. His baseball wind-up is not professional material. Unless he works with someone all offseason leading up to the draft a la Tebow, he's undraftable. Move on.
  2. I like it. Get it done! The #3 pick and Greenway would be an instant jolt to our front 7, mix in some other picks and maybe Merriman... Things could be much different next year!
  3. Love it. We need an upgrade over Brohm at #2. Makes me more comfortable that we could salvage the season if Fitz were to go down.
  4. I don't know about that. I'd suggest Orton and Fitz are very similar. The difference? Orton went to Purdue (not Iowa) after Brees while Fitz when to Harvard. Orton was a starter as a rookie. Orton has had significantly more experience in the NFL than Fitz has. I tend to lean toward the belief that Fitz is still developing and improving through significant time on the field. Hell, they both even have stupid beards most of the time. I proposed this as an insurance policy to lock up 2 QB's who can compete. I don't know if I'd actually start Orton, I think Fitz is our guy.
  5. Obviously no one else with a sense of humor (or humour to the north). Liked it!
  6. Should've prefaced by saying that I am a Fitz-supporter. I want him to be our guy for the next 5-7 years. But, I'm not sure Brohm is the best insurance policy. Sure, having a middle-tier starter backed up by another one isn't the usual M.O, but maybe it makes sense... As much as I think we're going to improve in the offseason, an injury to Fitz bringing on Brohm would scuttle everything.
  7. Could be had for very little, relative to his stats, assuming Denver is going with TT. Why not bring him in to compete? If nothing else, he'd be an elite 2nd QB behind Fitz. He's not a glamour name at QB, certainly not mentioned with the Brady's and Manning's. But, his stats the last 2 seasons: 2010/2009 TD's : 20/21 INT: 9/12 Yds: 3653/3802 Note: Only 13 games in 2010 because of Tebow taking over. Would've likely ended up with 4200+yds and 23Td's. His QB rating is a hair under 90.
  8. Fitz is the guy. He was under duress all day, had to throw off his back foot more often than not. Look what happens when Manning is in less than ideal situations. Not saying Fitz and Manning are equals. Fitz is still our guy. End of story.
  9. Then you should considering opening your eyes... Maybe you need glasses? You clearly can't see the difference between standings and power rankings. Standings are based on record, Power Rankings are based on who's playing the best, NOW. The Bills are clearly playing better than a lot of teams right now, and deserve to be ranked higher than our place in the standings. Yikes.
  10. BROHM??? I thought we were past that. Stop bringing him up! Fitz is "relatively young" too... He's our guy for as long as he'll have us.
  11. He is literally turning his 'pile of crap' into something serious. Chan is the best coach we've had in here for awhile, let's see where it goes before we annoint him.
  12. Absolutely! You know they'll be out in force... And I'm thinking the JumboTron might have some Joker clips to celebrate Stevie catches. The Bills should have fun with this
  13. Oh come on, it was pretty good... And he didn't get penalized. Let's be happy we finally have a homegrown player that could be a serious star. If we re-sign him, that could be a huge piece toward attracting REAL free agents. And while it's against the CBA, you can't tell me that if the Bills wanted to they couldn't find a way to re-pay Stevie for it.
  14. Great chance for the Bills to build some goodwill with their budding star. Do it Ralph! Then, get him to sign a long contract!
  15. For the record, 'CK' has played 2 good games in a row with his hand in the grass. He's a DE. Not an all-pro, but a good DE. He is. Why bash they guy? We know he's terrible as an OLB, but he's showing proficiency at DE. Maybe it's time to throw some trust to the organization. I know historically they haven't accrued much, but I'm liking what they've done this year to date. Record aside, things are moving forward and looking up. Chris Kelsay is a high motor guy with some skill. You WANT him on your team. FACT.
