  1. Does that say the distance the ball traveled? I don’t see it.
  2. No, it wasn’t.
  3. Is that what I said? No. What I’m saying is that for a lot of people, even if Allen is clearly not a good QB, they’ll never admit It until he’s actually gone.
  4. Don’t hold your breath. There were people who still believed EJ would emerge the year Rex took over. You saw how it was with Tyrod. People argued he was better than he actually was right up until he was cut. Then reality set in and those same people now agree with all the “haters”.
  5. By this logic, Tim Tebow was a good QB and so was Tyrod when he was here.
  6. Hue Jackson would have been our OC. He would have resurrected EJ’s career and we’d still be drunk from all the SB parades.
  7. Why are we assuming that he already doesn’t? As far as I know and from what both Daboll and Allen have said, he has the freedom to set protections and change plays at the line based on what the defense is showing. Im all for being pass happy though. Let the kid sling the rock. If he ends up doing great then we hit the jackpot. If he ends being more of he same or worse then we’ll know what we have.
  8. Im not saying he should be our work horse right away but how does he not get involved early? A few carries or some easy screens to try and get Allen into an rhythm and maybe pick up some yards. How do we draft a RB in the 3rd and give him so few touches, sometimes not until the 2nd half?
  9. Who knows at this point? Whenever people talk about having a #1 WR they always point to the elite WRs as examples. If you’re holding out hope of finding the next Julio Jones to pair with Allen then good luck.
  10. I don’t think anyone views Allen as a completed project at his point. We all knew he would need time to develop. Where we all differ is the kind of QB we think he’s going to develop into. Saying he’s still developing is pointless. To me, it’s like using it as a crutch to excuse poor production with the hope he will blossom into an amazing QB. That may never happen.
  11. Are you referring to our 3rd down conversion percentage? If so, you’d be very wrong.
  12. Whether we win 10 games or 15 games, I want sustained success. You don’t have that with a bottom tier offense. McD has proven he can build a good defense. It’s his offense that has been the problem every year and I question whether he knows how to fix it.
  13. Sean McVay...Doug Pederson?
  14. Andy Reid inherited a Chiefs team that won 2 games the year prior. His first year they won 11 games and made the playoffs. This whole nonsense of it takes 4 or 5 years to become a good team is exactly that.
  15. Here we go again with the 4th quarter comeback stuff. It’s literally all people have to cling to. Tyrod had a horrible defense supporting him. Allen has a significant advantage over him in that regard. Our team averages 17ppg in Allen’s 4th quarter comeback games (including the ones from last year). So basically, our defense plays great keeping us in the game and our offense finally wakes up. Putting the amount of 4th quarter comebacks on display is wonderful until you actually look behind the curtain and see that our offense is still a problem even in those games.
  16. Is that the bar we’re setting? He sometimes completes passes our last bad QB wouldn’t even attempt?
  17. A counter to argument to what? I’m not against Daboll calling games from the box. There’s nothing to argue or no new information to discuss. Where an OC calls a game from comes down to personal preference.
  18. We don’t even know how to use the playmakers we already have (Singletary).
  19. In the box or on the sidelines, I don’t expect the results to be any different.
  20. It boggles my mind how these coaches will spend 70 hours a week preparing for a game and still not know how to get this kid involved earlier in the game.
  21. You don’t take a RB in the 3rd round if you only want to use him as a change of pace runner who gets minimal touches. That’s just stupid.
  22. Yeah, I think he will. Because of our super weak schedule, we’ll probably win 10 games and make the playoffs.
  23. Jerry Hughes, the invisible man
  24. He’s been a bad OC every chance he’s gotten in the NFL. This is probably just who he is regardless of where he’s sitting.
