  1. https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space Says 10.7 for 2025
  2. As it currently stands right now, we have around 10 mil in cap space going into next season which is among one of the worst in the league. And for the hoarding of draft picks comment, we have 8 picks which includes what looks like a late 2nd rounder from the Vikings (which could be helpful) and an extra 4th and 6th.
  3. It's almost as if he has little help around him.
  4. Both are at fault which is why I think if you get rid of McD you should get rid of Beane as well.
  5. I follow the Sabres so I guess you could say things are going pretty well in my sports life right now.
  6. Raiders would have to eat his salary this year because we don't have the cap space but I imagine we'd have to pay extra in draft picks for that. Dead cap hits of 15 mil in 25 and just shy of 8 mil in 2026. Edit: Apparently those dead cap numbers apply to the Raiders and whoever trades for him can simply cut him after this year with no dead cap money. Someone can correct that though.
  7. Adams is already 32 and his cap hits in 2025 and 2026 are 44 and 45 million. I'm not really as thrilled about this idea as others are.
  8. It's becoming evident that defenses do not respect our passing game and will simply settle with playing Cover 0 and sending pressure at Josh. We have shown no ability to adapt or beat it the last 2 weeks so get used to it.
  9. The time to do something was in the draft when we should have traded up for Brian Thomas Jr.
  10. He struck gold by having an offense with Burrow, Jefferson, Chase and Edwards-Helare and his reputation has been clinging to it ever since.
  11. Josh in 14 games under Brady: - 61% completion percentage - 217 passing yards per game - 7.1 yards per attempt - 22 TDs - 7 interceptions - 93.4 passer rating - 2 games with over 300 passing yards but 6 with less than 200
  12. Obviously Brady wanted him but has no idea how to get him the ball unless it's a WR screen.
  13. Meh. He's ok. I certainly don't think he's some guru that others make him out to be. When it comes to the draft, he does better on day 3 than days 1 or 2 which has been so problematic for this team. His use of resources in the draft is questionable. Drafting Kincaid after paying Knox big money. Drafting Moss in the 4th a year after drafting Singletary in the 3rd, then drafting Cook 2 years later in the 2nd and Davis in the 4th a year after that. In a matter of 5 years, Beane has used a 2nd, 3rd and two 4th round picks on RBs! Doubling down on DE and drafting Boogie Basham, who had zero high impact NFL qualities, in the 2nd round after drafting Groot in the 1st. The money he hands out seems like it goes to mediocre players more than game changers. Trent Murphy, Star, Settle, Samuel, Quinton Jefferson, Epenesa etc. Then there's all the restructures that kicks the cap hit down the road and you're left with a cap situation that sucks and leaves minimal room to make moves. Beane absolutely hit a home run with Josh but his ability to keep weapons around him has been mediocre. Beane is the person that wins the lottery, doesn't know how to manage the wealth and goes broke within a few years and that's how I feel this roster has been managed.
  14. The difference in the way the NFL and NHL handle concusions is night and day.
  15. Remain a competitive team with questionable talent at QB.
  16. Crazy how the Steelers do this every year
  17. The problem is we don't have enough talent around Josh to help him along the way.
  18. Beane loves giving money to guys who don't positively impact games for us. It's why we are in cap hell. Samuel is going to make over 9 mil next year too and there's no relief for cutting him either. Money well spent so far
  19. Our salary cap situation isn't much better next year either.
  20. We're likely stuck with what we have at this point unless Beane goes and gets Amare Cooper. His contract seems like it would be the easiest to manage. And Brady is probably here for the long haul too. It's not as though we have some young up and comer on this staff waiting to replace him. I don't think McD should survive firing another OC either. We have talent issues and salary cap issues. This is the mess that McD and Beane built and this kind of mismanagement gets people fired when things go poorly.
  21. Unless we trade for a WR who can actually win outside we're going to struggle a lot on offense
  22. About to waste the time years of Allen's career. Don't worry though, QBs like him are easy to find.
  23. We can't even get 1 TE going, much less 2
  24. We're supposed to be a team competing for a SB and not some lowly team just happy to be in the hunt. The way this roster is constructed there is zero chance we are going far in the playoffs.
  25. Watching this offense struggle was so predictable. It didn't take long for defenses to adjust and now our weaknesses are exposed. I know people put Beane on some pedestal as some elite GM but what he's put around Josh is unbelievably bad. Our cap situation is also terrible because of the contracts and restructures he's responsible for. If it weren't for Josh, him and McD would've been fired years ago. Instead they are just going to waste the best years of his career. I'm losing so much patience at this point.
