Disagree. It depends on what the best thing for the development of that particular rookie QB is. If he’s the best and ready to go, then sure. If he needs some work on mechanics, etc. first, then get him right before putting him on the field. Starting him week one and having to pull him after a few weeks is far worse than him sitting him a half - or even whole - season before starting. It all depends when he’s ready.

If he's the best QB on the roster then you have to play him. At the end of the day, it was just a 5th round pick.

Isn't McConkey more of a slot receiver and only 6'?  To me, McConkey was never on our board because we wanted an outside receiver, with Shakir in the slot.

Coleman's best position could very well be as a slot guy as well. He just doesn't have the separation ability to consistently win on the outside.

  3. Refs still spot the ball and this just solves the 1 time a game the chain gang gets brought out to confirm if it's a 1st or not. Big deal..

Let me know when there's a sensor in the ball that can automatically tell us where the spot should be and if the ball crossed the goal line. That's when things will actually change for the better.

    6. WR - The Palmer signing erased the need for a boundary starter (& replaced Cooper) and Shenault probably inherits Hollins' role.  We still a deep threat and there are some intriguing guys like Felton and Williams in the middle rounds.

Palmer shouldn't have erased anything tbh. He's a decent player but he's not someone I look at and think "Yeah, we're good now that we have him". And Shenault is simply not good so I certainly hope he isn't as involved in the offense as Hollins was. Aside from safety, our WR room is one of the weakest on the team still.

Maybe the plan is to have another season of historically low turnovers and hope Josh wins another MVP because of the talent around him?

At this stage.  Kupp, Dhop, Copper even Adams imo are names.  2025 Palmer is as good as any of them outside looking at the analytics and efficiency ratings.  He has been successful where the Bills offense has been lacking.  He is 25 and entering his prime.  Dont hate it.

Big jump for Coleman?  No.  Offering more for the offense than what Hollins brought?  Yes.  Coleman and Hollins accounted for 950 plus yards and 10 plus Tds.  If Coleman does 80% of that I'm happy.  I think that is also realistic projection 750 and 8?  That would be a very good year.

Keon was a non factor for a significant part of the regular season and the entirety of the playoffs. I don't think a slight bump in production is going to do much for this team overall.

Fans forget,we had a top 2 offense last year and Josh was the dang MVP!

What we NEED is defense!  But Palmer does the main thing we need and that is get separation.

Josh won MVP because he carried a team that didn't have a ton of talent to 13 wins.

The sentiment before the season started was he lost too many weapons and Josh as well as the team overall were expected to have a down year.

Why do you think Beane traded for Cooper? It certainly wasn't because the offense was humming.

If the plan is to add a complimentary piece in Palmer and hope for a huge leap from Keon then I think that's asking A LOT of Josh again.
