The problem right now is not Nix/Whaley. I think theyve done a good job at getting talent on the team.
The issues right now are:
1. QB
2. Coaching
I understand the FO's plan to get the team built up before going after a QB, and I expect them to make a big play for one this next offseason.
However, when it comes to upgrading the coaching, we are screwed. And that is completely thanks to Ralph. No matter who Nix wants to hire, or how much money Ralph is willing to spend, a big-time coach will not come to this team which has zero stability. Ralph is living on borrowed time, and once he goes, the whole thing is up in the air.
You got it Dr. D!! Hit the nail on the head. Its is coaching and qb play. We have good talent on this team. However, the coaching and player developement is a giant joke. Look at aaron williams and mckelvin. Where the !@#$ is the developement and coaching. If they make the same mistakes, then what the !@#$ have they been doing in practice all these years.
Nix/whaley have done a good job. Nix hired who he could. Well actually, whoever wanted to come here. NO ONE WANTS TO COME HERE.
Just a small example I have. The team that just smashed us had a hall of fame linebacker as a head coach. The team added a couple of pieces and a NEW HEAD COACH!! Need I say more??

The packers will be fine. When playoff time comes, they'll be there. Take it in stride Ice. Really, you guys will be fine.

HOUSE, I promise you that's what I'm hoping for with all my heart!! I even stated it in a live thread. They are definitely the problem. We have talent but no player developement or good coaches. No excuses! THEY BOTH NEED TO GO!!Chan may be gone by morning and I wouldn't be surprised if Fitz lost the starting job.
Wanny may be gone as well.

bull ****!! This coaching staff, all of them are a !@#$ing joke. There is no player developement on the bills. NONE WHATSOEVER!!!!!It's not the coaching at all. The personnel is inferior. Absolutely inferior.

OF COURSE NOT!! They kept showing gailey bending over so he could continue to receive the foot in his ass!!I didn't watch the game (first time since I don't know when), did anybody look upset on the sidelines? Throw a helmet? Get in somebodies face? Look like they cared?

DISGRACE!! I really dnt see buddy being the problem. Its the coaches. However, buddy will be the problem if he doesn't fire ch and dw tomorrow!! We have talent and no coaches. I say we put in the assistant coaches, let them ride it out for the rest of the year and see where it gets. The bills really need these to ass clowns to go.

I'm with u on this hopeful. And this is what infuriates me the most. Wtf is the passion and fire??!!Why are the coaches and the players always quiet? look at other teams and how they talk. Its a player that gets them hype and hungry or a couple players. Example, look at the giants. If u !@#$ up coughlin will let u know. He's always in the game and always has someth to say. Bellicheat, you usually see him with his D letting them have it and telling them what they need to do!!"Outcoached, again" is my impression as well. When the Pats came out and marched down the field, I had to stop watching - it was just too easy.
Then when we managed to stop them, and score 3 TDs, I thought "OK, early jitters, now the D has settled down"
The bottom line is, when you're ahead by 14 points partway through the 3 Q, you really ought to be able to STAY ahead. New England adjusted, and we didn't. That's coaching. Even if you want to blame the players for not executing on D (which I do), and on O (which I do - too many 3 and outs in the 3rd quarter), it's coaching to get in the player's grills and tell them they're getting their asses whipped in their own house, stand up like men and start fighting.
And it's coaching to say "OK, our run game as game planned is just not working - how about that fullback and 2 TE thing we pulled against KC?"
If the team takes on the personality of the HC, were done.
No passion, no fire, no heart from coaches or players. That's a recipe for getting your ass handed to you. And that's what they got today.
Add bad coaching and that's a rap!!

It's up to the D!! Our O is moving the ball and scoring. The series where welker fumbled, well that's what we need the D to play like for the rest of the game. And I believe we can truely pull it out!!

Soft on both sides of the ball!! We face a division team and now all of a sudden they can't play!! Is it coaching or the players. Same thing with the jets. Replacement oline and the dline still gets their ass handed to them!! Arizona went hard at Brady!! If we can't bring that intensity and be that physical, they need to head to the locker room!!
