  1. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT op!! And the mob, bookies, and owners are in on it!! We were 5.5 underdogs. Get the !@#$ out of here with that bull ****. They have two major injuries and we still lose. We bust the dolphins ass in the first game and now we lose by more than 5.5? Complete bull ****!!

It's scripted! Here's two examples! How the !@#$ did the ravens win the year before? Oh cause Ray Lewis was retiring? Here's the REAL one. Katrina hits and the saints win the superbowl!! I don't know when our number will be called again, but it'll be set up for us to win!!

  2. Wow, the Pats have a brutal schedule for the rest of the season.

    R

I don't think the Bills will make it as a wild card, they gotta win the division.

EXACTLY!! I was going to post this after I read everything. That's exactly how I see it. Just don't think the wildcard is going to shake out for us. Of course I could be wrong. It's early but I just gotta bad feeling about it.
  3. The story of this game begins and ends with the offensive coaching. There was great play all over the field, and at times, it looked like Marrone and/or Hackett were purposefully trying to lose. I've never seen a coaching staff continually beating their collective heads against a wall like today. They were trying to do something that just wasn't working... playing to the Jets strength and exposing our weakness.

If not for an amazing defensive effort, the season would be all but over. We won today, but for most of the game it felt like we were losing. Such a frustrating game!

completely understand where you're coming from Dan. However, I didn't feel we were losing but just trying to give the game away. I said this in a previous post. Hackett will cost us when it's all said and done.
  4. We can pull it out but our coaching doesn't give us a chance. If games are won in the trenches, how the hell do we pull this out?

I'd have a lot more confidence if we had some real coaches.

I like Bryce, but what it's he suppose to do with the weak oline.

This coaching staff is a joke. And that's EXACTLY what this game is gonna boil down to.

I'm really not a negative person but I have no confidence in this coaching staff.

Oh I'm right here, saying the samsamee thing I've been saying for 2-1/2 years:

He's very good, not elite, best CB on the team by a wide margin, and nowhere near worthy of the embarrassingly stupid crusades some here partake in against him.

Show me a single thing in Henderson's comments that disagrees.

    Thanks.

bandit, I don't understand. How is he very good? I'm sure I watch the same games you watch. What do you see? Imo, I think he's overrated.

I think having a passing attack that's feared would cover up flaws 3 and 4.Defenses don't fear Manuel and they expect him see only a game manager. Also, all 32 NFL teams have flaws but if you're one dimensional NFL teams feed on that and the flaws start becoming magnified. I think the Bills are at a crossroads with regards to their conservative vs opened up approach on offense.

This makes a lot of sense. That's exactly why I agree with Dan also. If the Bills don't succeed this year, imho, Hackett will have a lot to do with it.
  7. Here are 5 Vines from the last game that highlight his accuracy issues. In each clip the OL holds up nicely and gives him time to throw. He stands tall in the pocket, makes the correct reads, finds the open man, and then....then....he just misfires. His inconsistent play didn't just start last week either. I can excuse a young QB for not picking up a blitz, for not seeing an open receiver, or for not reading a coverage correctly. But when you do all the aforementioned correctly and simply can't throw a football accurately, well I'm just not sure that's an easily correctable part of a QB's skill set.

And this Q, is the bottom line!! I was just talking about this with a co-worker.

Completely disagree. Manual had time to throw on many occasions. He just can't.

Seems like it's going to be yet another TBD week with a hundred 'EJ Sucks' threads. I wonder if there's a message here.. (Doh!)

And I completely agree. I don't know what game everyone was watching, but yes he had plenty of time on several plays.sometimes he held the ball too long and other times not long enough.
