Here's the problem........NO URGENCY FROM THE OFFENSE!! NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH!!
-
make mention of that to the other party as well man. Thanks! This is a football thread man. Thanks.
-
just think about it!!I'll bet the NFL made the Bills send Bryce Brown deep at the end of the game too. Is there no limit to their corruption!?!
-
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT op!! And the mob, bookies, and owners are in on it!! We were 5.5 underdogs. Get the !@#$ out of here with that bull ****. They have two major injuries and we still lose. We bust the dolphins ass in the first game and now we lose by more than 5.5? Complete bull ****!!
It's scripted! Here's two examples! How the !@#$ did the ravens win the year before? Oh cause Ray Lewis was retiring? Here's the REAL one. Katrina hits and the saints win the superbowl!! I don't know when our number will be called again, but it'll be set up for us to win!!
-
EXACTLY!! I was going to post this after I read everything. That's exactly how I see it. Just don't think the wildcard is going to shake out for us. Of course I could be wrong. It's early but I just gotta bad feeling about it.Wow, the Pats have a brutal schedule for the rest of the season.
R
I don't think the Bills will make it as a wild card, they gotta win the division.
-
completely understand where you're coming from Dan. However, I didn't feel we were losing but just trying to give the game away. I said this in a previous post. Hackett will cost us when it's all said and done. The story of this game begins and ends with the offensive coaching. There was great play all over the field, and at times, it looked like Marrone and/or Hackett were purposefully trying to lose. I've never seen a coaching staff continually beating their collective heads against a wall like today. They were trying to do something that just wasn't working... playing to the Jets strength and exposing our weakness.
If not for an amazing defensive effort, the season would be all but over. We won today, but for most of the game it felt like we were losing. Such a frustrating game!
-
So did I!! Thought that comment was ridiculous. Was it Gannon who said that Hackett is a friend of his, and he knows that Hackett will be disappointed in the poor running game of the Bills. I started yelling at the TV that if it is not working, then change it up!
-
We can pull it out but our coaching doesn't give us a chance. If games are won in the trenches, how the hell do we pull this out?
I'd have a lot more confidence if we had some real coaches.
I like Bryce, but what it's he suppose to do with the weak oline.
This coaching staff is a joke. And that's EXACTLY what this game is gonna boil down to.
I'm really not a negative person but I have no confidence in this coaching staff.

bandit, I don't understand. How is he very good? I'm sure I watch the same games you watch. What do you see? Imo, I think he's overrated.Oh I'm right here, saying the samsamee thing I've been saying for 2-1/2 years:
He's very good, not elite, best CB on the team by a wide margin, and nowhere near worthy of the embarrassingly stupid crusades some here partake in against him.
Show me a single thing in Henderson's comments that disagrees.
Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, the eagles have one or two of their starters missing. They don't miss a beat because they have real coaches.
It reminded me of Chad stepping in for Andy. He would barely miss a beat.
-
bottom lineWith Pettine as DC, we would have won this game. Not going after a QB like Brady was a joke. Unless you can seven DBs at once (and that might not help as we have hardly any that can really play), pressuring an exceptional QB should be a no brainer.
-
LOL LITERALLY LOL. Thanks so much! That made my day LOLWe are being coached by gerbils.
-
Maybe they need a new D.C. !! Pettine did a good job with them last year. Anybody think maybe the scheme has something to do with it?
-
EXACTLY KOK!! This is b.s. and they do it every week. What the heck do they do at practice?Watching this team in the first half of most games makes you wonder exactly wheat Hackett and Marrone are doing most of the week prepping this Offense...
-
CAN'T stand Brady!! He's such a B word!! Now he's all smiles and cheers cause they're winning. But last week he sat in the corner on the bench like a !@#$ing girl. He gave up. He quit!! I hate stuff like that.
Why didn't he fight last week?? What a kitty!!
-
you said it and I'm thinking it. Agree with you 100% 26!!Marrone has to do something about Eric Pears or it's not going to matter what QB and weapons the Bills have. Urbick never played as rotten as Pears has at RG. Do something Doug!
-
Don't blame EJ. Blame the predictable oc. Run run pass
-
This makes a lot of sense. That's exactly why I agree with Dan also. If the Bills don't succeed this year, imho, Hackett will have a lot to do with it.I think having a passing attack that's feared would cover up flaws 3 and 4.Defenses don't fear Manuel and they expect him see only a game manager. Also, all 32 NFL teams have flaws but if you're one dimensional NFL teams feed on that and the flaws start becoming magnified. I think the Bills are at a crossroads with regards to their conservative vs opened up approach on offense.
-
LOL, I usually suffer from "inaccuritis". You know when someone is wide open and EJ just has to miss.
May I add, fellas, this is one of the funniest topics I've every read on TSW. I'm at work cracking up. It Really made my night!!
-
And this Q, is the bottom line!! I was just talking about this with a co-worker.Here are 5 Vines from the last game that highlight his accuracy issues. In each clip the OL holds up nicely and gives him time to throw. He stands tall in the pocket, makes the correct reads, finds the open man, and then....then....he just misfires. His inconsistent play didn't just start last week either. I can excuse a young QB for not picking up a blitz, for not seeing an open receiver, or for not reading a coverage correctly. But when you do all the aforementioned correctly and simply can't throw a football accurately, well I'm just not sure that's an easily correctable part of a QB's skill set.
-
And I completely agree. I don't know what game everyone was watching, but yes he had plenty of time on several plays.sometimes he held the ball too long and other times not long enough.Completely disagree. Manual had time to throw on many occasions. He just can't.
Seems like it's going to be yet another TBD week with a hundred 'EJ Sucks' threads. I wonder if there's a message here.. (Doh!)
-
LOL!!..................
-
LOL!!WTF
-
Everyone has made good points on how to beat the bolts. But one thing the Bills really have to do is play a physical brand of ball. They really have to match their intensity as well. Rivers really gets fired up.
The bills have to stand in and go toe to toe with them.
