  1. I didn’t like his kneeling either. What are the odds the Bills score if they go for it?
  2. Like the Bills ona single unit? Show me
  3. Because the rookie doesn’t know how to play football. Cards McDermott was dealt
  4. He took Tyrod Taylor to 9 wins and the playoffs man
  5. Nah I ain’t taking moral victors, I’m taking actual ball. The bills are not a talented football team. Their defense is bottom 15 in terms of talent. The WR corps is probably bottom 10. How is it possible for the Bills be this under talented and yet still some games like they did against the Dolphins and yes against the Eagles? could it be that McDermott and Allen actually have this team playing better than it’s talent levels at this point?
  6. with what talent on defense should the Bills be doing this? You’re essentially blaming McDermott for being good enough to get this duct defense to play well enough to keep the bills in games. Dodson was spying Hurts. DODSON. That is the level of injuries and roster McDermott was handed. Against a top 3 offense in the NFL.
  7. While having a huge chunk of their salary cap on IR or basically washed whole fighting the refs in a horrifically officiated game while at a decided talent disadvantage on both sides of the ball on the road and y’all want to fire the head coach who’s has had nothing but 10+ win seasons for like 4 years in a row now? It took the Eagles kicking a SIXTY YARD FG IN THE RAIN to get to OT. The Eagles had a better DVOA than the Bills. There was no reasonable analysis that had the Bills winning this football game before the snap. Literally demanding the HC be fired for EXCEEDING expectations Nah this ain’t it
  8. if these players aren’t taking some ownership of Dorsey getting fired - most certainly including one Josh Allen - then the whole lot of them need to be shipped off to Siberia
  9. we’ve all been following the Beane and McDermott relationship right? It actually feels like one of the best in the NFL. Beane’s primary job is to get players needed to fulfill a vision of winning a Super Bowl based on certain base concepts of what you want your defense and offense to look like. McDermotts job is to execute that vision with the players he’s provided by specifically setting schemes on both sides of the ball, while filling out his coaching staff to help him get there. The reality is these two men influence each other greatly and I doubt much big picture stuff happens without them collaborating. While Beane will have final say on player personnel and contracts, and McDermott has final say on his coaches and how he uses those players, this isn’t done in a vacuum. With Dorse, that’s McDermotts decision, but I gotta imagine he talked it over with Beane before making a final choice. But all in all this seems like a really great relationship and one isn’t gonna disrespect the other in terms of overstepping responsibilities in a vacuum
  10. You just changed your goal posts from playoffs to regular season
  11. I am a Penn State guy the and less I have to think about John Butler the happier I am. (also Taron Johnson should be mad at bow badly he got beat off the LOS not the DPI call. Hell don’t even blame McDermott. That’s a big legged kicker. Get them ALL the way out. Taron Johnson should know the only way he gets beat in 2 seconds in a cover 0 is over the top. Like it is unfathomable he gets off the LOS in that situation)
  12. Also, wouldn’t go too far with Allen being a problem: https://x.com/davemyersbib/status/1724459444514456011?s=46&t=b_6DEUCIOVykcHVZYqq8jg
  13. Execution is absolutely an issue and where the responsibility is I don’t know. Probably everyone including players and coaches.
  14. https://x.com/aaronquinn716/status/1724242402905317852?s=46&t=b_6DEUCIOVykcHVZYqq8jg stuff like this is ultimately what cost Dorsey his job. The bills have consistently had terrible field position this season, as the injured defense has somewhat struggled to get off the field. When you DO get good field position, we do this. That’s probably what sent McDermott over the top
  15. They wanted to run back Dabolls offense
  16. A bunch of us were predicting the Begals playoff almost exactly as it happened. That should not have been a surprise to anyone
  17. Because the Bills haven’t lost to a team that’s worse than them in terms of perosnell. The one big thing they did to make themselves the same level as the Chiefs and Bengals was Von Miller who hasn’t been available.
  18. The reality here is the Bills offense is far far closer to being elite than it is to being mediocre. McDermott knows that and it’s why he made the change. The Bills go up and down the field. But for whatever reason they just can’t score with the same efficiency as they move the ball, and they don’t play complementary football and end up killing their own depleted defense
  19. They’ve lost to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes twice, took a good DeShaun Watson to OT prior to Allen Taking The Leap, and then last year an exhausted and injuries Bills team lost to a really good Bengals team. This isn’t failure. They lost to teams that were better than them in terms of personell
  20. Diversity of concepts is a good thing. The inconsistent nature of it was probably what got Dorsey fired
  21. Lack of explosive plays is a league wide issue
  22. Firing your hand picked OC is essentially taking ownership of a mistake. Whose job is it to evaluate the talent of your assistant coaches and coordinators? The head coach
  23. His responsibility this season is to own the defense, and give Dorsey general principles of what the offense should be. Clearly, Dorsey hasn’t delivered on thag inspite of all the excellent metrics
  24. the pass rush has been ok actually. Teams are struggling to consistently pressure. Just look at how teams struggle to pressure Allen and we have literally don’t have a single 1st round pick on the OLine. It’s not McDermotts fault that injuries have hugely debilitated his two most talented pass rushers in Groot and Von Miller
  25. You guys act like the bills haven’t been wildly successful under McDermott
