Diggs is better than any rookie until proven otherwise, which is a complete unknown.  With 30 mil dead cap next season.  It was a bad decision.

I just can’t agree with the idea that what makes or breaks this offense is a rookie WR that’s not from the top 3 elite going before us.  At 28 it’s as much of a guess as in the middle of second round.  If they draft WR wonderful.  If not second round is just fine.

Not exactly.  You need to draft best outside WR available and hope they become a #1.  The idea that you can just draft a #1 cause he is in the first round is wishful thinking.  This is why they probably need to draft couple WRs if possible. 

There is no guarantee Allen becomes who he is if they dont get him Diggs early in his career.  The Diggs trade was smart and payed off in the long term.

I believe all these moves are making it easier to draft the BPA in each round rather than need.  I don't see how a late first round WR is the solution to winning a SB although I have no problem with it if Bean gets his guy.  Second round is also fine depending on who falls to 28.
