Charlie Campbell has been reporting for a while now that the Jets pick is down to Bowers or Odunze.
I really don't understand the amount of pushback I get on his reports. Is it just because Walter Football as a website kind of sucks? Because I get that, but his track record is his track record.
While Walter football does look like it was built in 1998 I find his info very reliable. -

He doesn't, really. His only concern is only having 1 year of production. Not sure why anyone is so down on him. He is great.
Ouside the top3 I feel he is the surest pick.- 1

Did not realize Legette has these concerns.

It's funny to read such strong opinions on which WRs are gonna make it after we went over the JA thread form 6 years ago.
Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
The buzz surrounding Worthy exploded after he broke the NFL Combine's 40-yard dash record in 2024, blazing a 4.21-second time to break the record set by John Ross in 2017 by 0.01 seconds.
Worthy dominated the rest of the NFL Combine, as well, posting a 41-inch vertical jump and a 10-11 broad jump to establish himself as one of the most athletic receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft class. That pushed him into first-round consideration given that he was productive during his career at Texas.
What's the issue with Worthy? He's small. It's not so much the 5-11 frame that could be a problem, but he weighed in at just 160 pounds for the 2024 NFL Combine. Maintaining that playing weight would make him one of the lightest players in the NFL and could cause him to become injury-prone if he doesn't bulk up.
Worthy played in 39 games during his three seasons with the Longhorns, so some will point to DeVonta Smith's success at 6-0, 170 pounds as a reason the Texas product could end up OK. Others can look to Hollywood Brown (5-9, 180 pounds) and his history of nagging injuries as a reason Worthy could struggle to make a consistent impact in the NFL.
Perhaps the best comparison for Worthy is Tank Dell, as noted by NFL.com's Lance Zierlein. The Texans' playmaker (5-10, 165 pounds) enjoyed an excellent rookie season, making 47 catches for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games, but he missed six games with a fractured fibula.
That serves as a cautionary tale for the team that drafts Worthy. He could develop into a true No. 1 receiver and speed demon at the next level, but his size makes his durability a question mark. As the cliché goes, the best ability in the NFL is availability.

God that thread is so satisfying to read. I believe most of those posters have changed their screen names. Or they can't handle prosperity and have disappeared.

Pegula is such a **** owner, his teams will never have success. The Bills maintain their laughing stock status.
Allen over Rosen, this mistake will be remembered for decades. FO is full of a bunch of arrogant pricks."

After reading last years non stop hate towards Gabe, I think banning anyone who mentions the Bills will miss him is reasonable.

I’m starting to think giving up too much for one of the top 3 will damages the rebuild. I think moving up for Thomas isn’t necessary as 2 WRs from the next batch are just fine. Fine w picking a WR at 28 as well. If we do move up it should be Harrison

I can't imagine the physical and mental toll the game takes on you. I'm not sure I would sign up for that.

More like what percentage of people would crap their pants 2 seconds into the first snap. I say 98%.

The stunning infatuation with draft picks on display.

The way to solve this is to pick a WR in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

1. Allen will be 28 this year. Window to win with him is wide open. Beane will have to rebuild/retool the roster around him. This draft is very important.
2. Kelly retired in 96 and look how long it took the Bills to find their next franchise QB in Allen. No way I am trading one of the best QB's in the game who is still in his prime.
No I heard we have wasted his prime. McD will never win anything. Beane is avg at best. The rest of the team is garbage. Time for a rebuild.
I mean whats the point of responding to this seriously.

I voted yes. Since it’s been said we aren’t winning anyways. I’m rebuilding for the post McAllen era.

No.
All of those teams had to win multiple playoff games to get to the SB. We haven’t won multiple playoff games since the Raiders were in Oakland.
You can’t win a SB unless you get there. I’ll take our chances if we get there.
Also, the Buccaneers and Rams did win. 49ers and Eagles were a play away from winning with far worse QB’s.the only other strategy available to us is trade Allen/McD and 10 first round picks for Reid and Mahomes straight up.
Would you trade our coach and QB for any other tandem in the league?

We don’t have a ton of assets unfortunately. So I do agree with you.
I would much rather have 2 cost controlled WR’s at this stage of our team. But that’s really just because it’s the reality of the 2024 Bills. Ideally, I would take a WR high and get an Aiyuk if I could.
But the facts of the matter are clear. The Eagles used a top 10 pick on Smith, and traded a first for Brown and signed him to big money. They went from a fringe playoff team to a SB team.
The Bengals used a top 10 pick on Chase, and pick 33 on Tee Higgins. They went from the worst team in football to a SB team.
The 49ers remained an SB team by spending a first round pick on WR, and giving Deebo and Kittle and CMC big money. All without a great QB.
The Rams paid big money to Kupp, Gave Woods a decent sized contract, traded a second for Watkins, traded a first for Cooks, and brought in OBJ for a run. They went to two Super Bowls and won 1.
The Bucs invested a lot in their group of Evans, Godwin, etc etc for their SB.
really, the only team to go to with a horrific receiving target group was the Chiefs. And much like the old Patriots, it’s hard to replicate their strategy because they win even when their strategy sucks. And they didn’t even not invest, they just had crappy investments. 2nd for Toney, 2nd for Skyy Moore, 2nd for Rice.
Surround your great QB with talent so he can be great in the biggest moments is obviously the way. We have the QB. It’s time to invest in the talent around him.
Doesn't your post in a way contradict your conclusion? Not that I don't agree with you. By TBD logic becoming a SB team but losing is the equivalent of a choking pile of dung.

Good to see logical fact based discussions continue on here.
Reminds of the idiots who bought Truth Social stock but think the drop in value is due to Wall Street manipulation.

I cant wait for AI to ***** up life as we know it. You won't know if anything is real unless "they tell you" it is. I guess we're already there?

I would package #28 and Baylon Spector to move up to #3
At #3 I would draft Baylon's replacement. Edefuan Ulofoshio
