  1. So many good WRs were chosen after the 1st.  I have come around on the idea of trading up.  I think stay put and grab hopefully 2 WRs.  I am ok with a small trade up to get your guy,  but not into the top ten or teens.

many great receivers of the past decade were drafted in the second round, including A.J. Brown, D.K. Metcalf, Deebo Samuel, Michael Thomas and Davante Adams. And other stellar wideouts were taken even later, including Cooper Kupp, Stefon Diggs, Terry McLaurin, Chris Godwin and Keenan Allen.

  2. I'd only move up for Odunze if he dropped past 12.

After that I would rather have Legette than BT Jr.

Wondering what people think of that idea.

Lots of people have Legette ranked higher than BT Jr.  I like him better actually.  Way more proven in the short and intermediate game.

Legette is a late break out due to a late position switch.  Great culture fit.  I would move up a few spots for him.

    Don't care for Worthy.

Love Ricky Pearsall.  Ranked as #5 for some.  Complete WR.  Best hands in class.  Can run any route.

    Love Roman Wilson.

    Love McConkey.

So many great options after the top 3.  I think no need to make a huge trade.

  3. I really loved Diggs and his play.  And am now ok with them moving on.  We don't need drastic opinions on everything.  Diggs had his issues but overall he was excellent.  You can nitpick Josh's play and make some criticism as well, which I know wont go over well here.

diggs is a good player but you only want to get the questions about his tweets, comments, missed workouts etc… so many times.

fun while it lasted but completely predictable finish too.

No hard feelings but diggs will be a hired hand and not a truly beloved bill when memories of this era crystallize.

He has been the best WR over a 4 year period in Bills history.  The trade doesn't change that fact.  He has had a pivotal role in the success of the franchise.  No need to rewrite history due to the current situation.

Diggs arriving helped make Allen a better QB.  Diggs leaving will likely make him an even better QB.

I think the past couple of years, Allen has adjusted his own game to try to accommodate Diggs and keep him "happy."  It wouldn't surprise me if his turnovers went down now - instead of trying to force things to Diggs, he might get back to just playing loose & having fun.

this is probably very close to the reality of the past 2 seasons.

We may be getting caught up up in grammar. I mean next year as in 2025 because the current league year already started.

$31M is the dead cap for 2024. Which is only a ~$3M increase from having him on the roster.

    RealizIng this is correct.

CJ Stroud seems like he's taking the job of being an NFL QB seriously. Maybe when the media fawns over him, he'll become a "celebrity QB", like Josh. I really hope Josh comes in as a mature QB this year. We need that more than a top wr. Mahomes proved that last year.

He is a celebrity QB?  Cause he chose an accomplished intelligent woman as a partner and not his psycho high school sweetheart?
