The way Don is talking, it looks like it’s a trade that would involve some draft capital. So you can forget about those 5 picks. Washington would surely want a 1st and probably a 2nd for Cousins. I don’t think he’s worth that PLUS giving him a huge contract. I’d rather look to the draft to find a QB.
-
Right but we are talking about giving Cousins one of the most expensive contracts for a QB. That will certainly take away capital elsewhere. Is Cousins a guy that can carry a team? He hasn’t carried the Redskins anywhere. He hasn’t carried them to the playoffs the past 2 seasons. They aren’t contenders despite the weapons they have and had. So wheres the proof? Does Kirk Cousins lead the Bills past Brady and the Pats*? Don’t believe I said he’s the reason they aren’t. But the fact of the matter is the Redskins have paid Cousins $54 million and haven’t made the playoffs in these past 2 years. He isn’t able to overcome poor play from other areas on the team and paying a QB that much money is going to limit what you can do with your roster. Didn't really matter that much even when they had them. Still didn’t make the playoffs and finished 8-7-1 with the receivers and RB.
-
Wheres the evidence for that? You mean like the Washington Redskins are? You do realise they are 6-8 this season, right? The Redskins through 60 games with Cousins are 27-30-1 and they have paid hime $54 million these past 2 seasons and they haven’t made/wont make the playoffs. But yea, the Bills would be immediate contenders.

Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi thread
Wayne Cubed replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I saw the movie opening night and it took me a while to gather my thoughts about it. Much like Anakins lightsaber, I'm really torn. Loved and disliked it at the same time. Want to see it again to confirm my thoughts. Having said that, here's my review: I've seen all of of Rian Johnsons films, so I kind of knew what to expect from him. RJ likes to take a story, strip it back and completely focus in on the central characters/story and for me, in this 2.5 hour movie, there is a very good 1 hour 45 min movie. Disney gave RJ license to write the movie as he saw fit and he did just that. You could tell which characters and which story he really wanted to focus in on but it's almost like Disney said or Johnson thought you can't forget about these other characters so you need to find something for them to do. Which is the biggest problem with the film, for me. You can tell he doesn't care about these other 2 stories that are going on at the same time. The Luke/Kylo/Rey is the story RJ wants to tell. My other problems with this film is that RJ has basically undone everything that was established in The Force Awakens. Everything that was said to be important in TFA is now not important. Rey's lineage, not important. Snokes mysterious back story, not important. I feel like this movie is the first chapter. RJ should have just written/directed TFA because none of the characters have been advanced . Which is another part that bothered me. The Rey/Kylo fight scene was epic but I can't stand when people are telling a story and they have 2 opposites team up and fight only to end up right back where they started. I'm also not sure Kylo is a strong enough "baddie" to carry this the rest of the way. Also Superman Leia, just no. Things RJ did well include how he reconciles Han Solos death. I thought TFA did a horrible job with his death and the characters involved. Solo, a massive character in this films history got a terrible send off. He dies and it was like no one gave a crap. Welp, lets just carry on and go. RJ does a good job with bringing that back in. Although he's now guilty of doing the same thing with Luke. I do like that RJ killed off this whole midichlorians crap. How he explains the force, I thought was brilliant. He also has a lot of good little touches throughout the film. The scene with Luke and Yoda, is one of my favorites. It's like they picked up where they left off and that felt like the scenes from Empire and Jedi with Yoda. Love that RJ used puppet Yoda too. I'm still looking forward to Episode IX, it'll be interesting how this story is wrapped up. -
Yup.

I believe they just went with the call on the field as well because there wasn’t enough to overrule it.
-
Shall we revisit this that was called a catch to win the game for the Pats**? The ball in this play clearly touches the ground and moves.
-
Every angle? There’s one angle. Try again.
-
I’m not changing the argument at all. The ball is incomplete if the ball touches the ground when the receivers makes the catch going to the ground. The player can lose control as long as the ball doesn’t touch the ground... And how do you know no one saw that. I just said that’s what I saw. People in this thread saw it. Heres the point, there isn’t a camera angle that shows the ball actually touching the ground. Not one. Therefore they should have stayed with the call on the field.
-
Whoa think your cap lock is on or something there slick. The ball can move without touching the ground, you know that right? The ball moving isn’t evidence it touched the ground. Again, show me where the ball touched the ground. From the angle that they keep showing James hand is underneath the ball.
-
As said before they must stay with the call on the field unless there is indisputable evidence the other way. Could you please kindly show me where the ball touches the ground? Because to me it looks like his hand is under it the whole way. Yes it moves, but it looks like it spins.
-
I’d also add that knee down, pulling it in and then extending it out is a football move. If a receiver makes a catch, does a subjective football move and then goes to the ground, it’s a fumble if the ball comes out. The point of argument here is that, for me, knee down and pulling the ball in and the extending is a football move.
-
I think they are a bit more stringent when it’s going into the end zone or in the end zone then they are in the field of play or sideline because it results in points.
-
This thread is nearing Mario Williams FA thread, in terms of entertainment.
-
You troll skills are actually pretty good here. And where on this play does the ground help him control the ball? Where is the irrefutable evidence? The tips of the ball touching the ground aren’t helping him control the ball, I’m sorry.
-
He didn’t ever lose possession of the ball. The ball shiftjng and touching the ground while still in someone’s had isn’t lost, it’s just that, the ball moving. Do you realise how silly what you are actually trying to argue? and the call on the field should have stood unless there was irrefutable evidence.
-
He has possession otherwise he wouldn’t be able to extend the ball. Someone who doesn’t have possession can’t extend a ball. As soon as the ball crosss the goal line, it’s dead if someone has possession. The part of him bringing it into his body hen extending it is him making the catch. And, the ball can shift and rock and still be a catch, you are aware of that right?
-
What part of plucking the ball out of the air, pulling it into his body then extending out, does not show possession of a ball. If he had t “caught” the ball he would not be able to do any of that. This is just silly. And stay with the call on the field.
-
STAY WITH THE CALL ON THE FIELD!! Come on with this crap. Knee down. Ball crosses the goal line. You called it a TD. This is seriously ruining the game.

I mean, the Dolphins sure don’t seem like they want to go and try to tie this game
