  1. Woods and Maclin are two completely different receivers. Maclin is a vertical threat receiver. That's why the KC signing made no sense when he signed there. Tyrods best trait as a QB is deep ball and big play potential. This could be a lot like the Harvin signing in 2015, if it happens. Harvin had 218 yards in 4 games and a TD before getting injured.
  2. You weren't kidding. I went back and watched a couple games. That offense in general was awful. They would just run it up the middle on 1st and 2nd down and throw on 3rd. I guess we will know what the Jags offense will be doing this season.
  3. Ahhhh damnit! Stuck on English currency.
  4. I don't think they have the cap space to sign Barnidge, even on a one year deal. They'd have to do some trimming or trading and unload. Their top 51 puts them within like $3M of the 2017 cap.
  5. I'm sorry but huh? He played the start of the 2014 season with healing broken ribs, putting up 117 yards and a TD against Miami in Week 2 AND he finished the 2015 season, the best stretch statistically of his career (and in the NFL for that span), on a broken foot.
  6. Ah yes, trade him when his value is at it's lowest.
  7. I've followed this thread and seriously can't believe some of the comments made or suggestions made about Watkins based on pure speculation and "feeling".
  8. And apparently does not want to be here.
  9. Wouldn't surprise me if he got more touches in the passing game. The screen game, whether RB or WR, has been non existent in both Roman and Lynns offense.
  10. Yup. It wasn't that long ago, the Bills were ahead of the Patriots, and in the top 10 for comp picks gained since the comp pick system was started. In fact they aren't that far outside of the top 10 for total picks, I think they are 13th or 14th last I checked. Like you say, I'm all for not being careless but cutting useful veteran players to possibly get the same player 2-3 years later only cheaper, is not sound. Hell, look what BB is doing now, he prefers to sign players he knows can play in this league and gives up 1st round picks to get them.
  11. Where's the Shah's doctor at?
  12. But you aren't getting it, you keep saying that you think they are saying these guys are going to be great QBs. And that it's hard to scout QBs and that they are terrible at it. Yes, it's hard to know if a Qb will transition to the NFL, there are a lot of factors. That doesn't mean scouts can't grade QBs or shouldn't grade them on their potential. That's all this is at this point. Scouts and evaluators have looked at this next years class and at this point they see MORE college QBs that could come out next year, that have the potential. More chances = a better QB class.
  13. Except that's not what Kirby is saying. He is saying that scouts and evaluators are looking at next years class and see more QBs that could possibly become NFL starters. They aren't saying "hell ya there's like 5 franchise QBs in the next draft", because no one knows that. It's about potential and projection. There are more guys that exhibit the traits that scouts and evaluators look for when determining if they think a guy can become a good QB. In this years class there were less of them. More guys, means more chances. Just like this year with DBs, there were more DBs in this class so there was a higher chance you'd get a good player.

  15. Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian, even though the actress for Vivian changed.
  16. In the world... and we've listed mostly American Candy bars. What about... Cadburys Double Decker Wispa Gold Aero Bar Toffee Crisp Milka Bar
  17. Fire up the Ford Taurus!
  18. He's got the McDermott connection from Carolina, I said as much when he was released. It makes sense.
  19. Ugh, damnit, this is all my fault. I bought a Watkins jersey his rookie year, cursed him.
  20. Recently only Gase and Quinn. They both are running the shows. But yea, I agree. It's a lot to just give a first time head coach that much power not matter how much they are "respected" around the league. The NFL is a gentlemans club, everyone is respected.
  21. That's kind of what I mean. Kirk Cousins, according to scouts and draft pundits, has enough arm strength. Nate Peterman, according to scouts and draft experts, does not have a strong arm. I just don't think you can compare the two and say, "Well hey look Kirk Cousins is doing ok".
  22. And actually, I'm not sure why this gets said, but Kirks Cousins arm strength was never a knock against him. Scouts and draft pundits said he had plenty, just not a canon. That's different than saying a QB has a weak arm. So for me, Kirk Cousins is not an example.
