  1. Horrible looking line, welcome T.O.
  2. What channel is this on??
  3. Houston we have a problem.
  4. His after the game is over technical sacks are legendary. Rest your starters and Aaron looks better, what a coincidence.
  5. Misplayed from the start but I asked myself what if Aaron decided to show up to 1BD and passed the physical, what then?? Do we pay the man $6 M & tell the rest of the team that their hard work means little to a guy just showing up?? I think that the better part of saying goodbye is that if someone chooses to play games against the team, they're not part of the team. Aaron didn't fit in our defense and with his mindset, a very late draft pick at best would of been available. We showed the team that their commitment does outweigh previous players trying to get their way, Bills coaches are in charge. This message was heard loud and clear.
  6. This post is based on talent alone, not judging previous coaches ideas of how to handle a team. I had 0 faith in us ever holding a lead with these guys coaching, it was unwatchable at best. DJ and his crew were expunged and we have a all new work until you drop mindset in place. Having the talent to make plays and calling the right plays are 2 different worlds that the Bills have been lacking. We have had talent and not had the ability to make intelligent game moves for 4 quarters, this looks to be changing.
  7. That about our only bet to getting a good LT, McNeil is not going to be a Buffalo Bill or anything but a NOSaint.
  8. Hearing that CJ Spiller is already gonna start running with the starters after just signing, and is already #1 option at KR and PR. So this being the case, should we trade a McKelvin for a Gaither clean if he is healthy?? If Gaither is healthy enough to play LT, that gives us a whole different outlook on the line. McKelvin not being there would barely change our backfield at all, so what's more important?
  9. This normally also eats up more clock, gives you a better time of possession and allows the defense to rest for better end of the game results. How many times over the past few years did we run out of 4th quarter gas? Too Many is the obvious answer.
  10. A checkdown at 2nd & 4 looks like a smart play because it gets you a firstdown, versus 3rd & 4. Trent knows how to get 4 or 5 yards on a pass, he's a expert at that.
  11. Our only team that looked the part of being close to the playoffs was the 2004 Bills which had a 8th ranked offense & 9th ranked defense. Our Achilles heal was that fateful regular season game against the best defense in the league, their backups could of probably started just about another defense on their own. That defense eliminated our playoff hopes on the final day. They ruled just about every defensive category that year, if you look into it. http://www.databasefootball.com/leagues/le...2004&lg=nfl
  12. Our 1999 / 2000 campaign featured the 2nd best defense in points allowed & a 16th ranked offense in points scored, so again nowhere near top 5 on either side of the ball. It's basically a top 10 finishing team by statistics alone, which is right where we ended up.
  13. I think that regardless of what people like to perceive as us being (a losing team, etc...), I feel we have a potential top 3 secondary and a top 5 running attack based on talent alone. As witnessed with the Jets last season, having top areas on both sides of the ball can lead you to better things. This doesn't mean we won't suck or have issues this year, it means we have the people in place in those areas to build from. Having squads on both sides of the ball which we can rely on come gameday is a rare event indeed for us over the past 10 years. We usually had one good thing working on one side of the ball and not the other side, so I see this as a positive step in our favor. Special teams looks to better than average as well, especially considering we have Roscoe, McKelvin and now Spiller to return kicks which should give us better than average field position during the games. Go Bills. http://www.databasefootball.com/leagues/le...1999&lg=nfl
  14. It's about where we draft every year so I cannot see this being that far off right now.
  15. Bold prediction sir, bold indeed.
  16. I think MB maybe right, however sad that makes me. When I watched Hardy run in person at the Miami game a few years ago, he looked like Frankenstein trying to run a route. On the other side of the coin, Lee Evans is the absolute smoothest WR running I have ever seen in person. So if the bar is set inside the team alone, Hardy is going to need alot work.
  17. Look both ways before crossing the streets, lol.
  18. Now it's time to get game ready, versus just being in shape.
  19. “I’m not trying to get intensity up even though that’s what happens when you go live,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “It’s just that you had better been live somewhere before you line up next Friday night and that was the last time we’ll be truly live before we get to next Friday night.” Gailey is referring to the team’s first preseason game in Washington against the Redskins on Aug. 13 at 7:30 pm. “It allows us to compete and gives us a good feeling of what the game’s really like,” said Kawika Mitchell of the live, tackle to the ground series. “Certain teams, certain head coaches don’t believe in live situations, but I think it’s good to get in there and get a feeling for hitting somebody the way you’re supposed to be doing it in the game. I enjoy it.”
  20. It was a spirited finish to Buffalo’s last practice prior to a day off as the team finished with a live goal line drill in their 13th straight camp practice. The defense got a few early stops on the first three plays keeping Fred Jackson, Marshawn Lynch and C.J. Spiller out of the end zone in succession. The offense changed the momentum when Ryan Fitzpatrick hit C.J. Spiller on a quick slant for a touchdown. The fifth play was an incomplete pass as Donald Jones couldn’t quite hang on for a touchdown catch in the left rear corner of the end zone as he tumbled head over heels. But Joique Bell, who has been strong in goal line work found the end zone again on the last play of the series. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...f4-8109fa59db5a
  21. I look like that without any other assistance,
  22. Yeah, the giants player was offsides during the wide right kick and the ref was seen reaching for the flag and ended up not pulling it out. That was a specific royal SB screwing there.
  23. Bills head coach Chan Gailey indicated that the injury that forced OT Cornell Green to leave practice early was not a serious one. “Just tweaked something,” said Gailey. “It’s precautionary. It looks like it’s minor and I’m hoping he’ll be back very soon.” Gailey did not disclose the location of the injury.
