  1. The QB situation is in shambles. It's time to bring in a guy who is great in the clutch, brings excitement, works hard, has character, demonstrates leadership, has a warrior's grit, won a playoff game, won a national championship and won a Heisman trophy.

Please remove yourself from being a Bills fan immediately!

  2. Mike Rodak@mikerodak 1h

Marrone was clearly upset about something. Had some choice language reporters could hear from sideline. Whaley threw up arms in response.

    Mike Rodak@mikerodak 1h

Marrone, Whaley, and Brandon having an animated conversation as Palmer, Manuel, Tuel warm up.

I'm wondering why these two are very upset at each other?

Not really worried about it. Maybe some bickering will help them get out of their comfort zone. Works for me.

  3. Yeah I do this every year. Yeah this is the right time. I like our slogan. Our time. But will it mean anything?

@Chicago Loss. Better Qb and home field

Host Miami Win. Our oline is better, our dline is better, we have home field.

Host San D. Loss. Better Qb

    @Houston Win Better qb

@Detroit Win Based on my logic, they should win. They have better qb and home field. Gut pick.

    Host Vikes. Win Homefield

@Jets Win. They have an ugly qb who sucks

    Host KC. Win. Homefield

    Host GB Loss

@Raiders Win We have better everything

    At pats * Loss.

    8-8 No playoffs.

Agree or disagree? I'm getting back to my black label.

Disagree. More like 5-11. It's a bad Football Team. Leadership lacking, accountability on this team is a joke at best. Laughing stock as usual.

  4. Hackett doesn't seem to understand there are different rules for playcalling when in the red zone and especially inside the 10 yard line due to the compression of the field and more people in a small area...

They move the ball very well in between the 20s but stall time and again in the red zone. Where are the play action passes to the TE's that always seem to work for every other team? Our playcalling isn't adjusting properly...same calls, same plays, not working

    It's PRESEASON!!! :wallbash:

Here we go, 10-6 in an early prediction of our season.

If we win 5 games this season. I'll be impressed.

  6. Does he make the team? This Bills Mafia blogger says he doesn't on his prediction of the 53. His followers weren't happy. #savegarrison

He points out Lee Smith has taken snaps at LS in camp.

@RQUINN619: out of all the controversial cuts on my #Bills 53-man roster prediction, GARRISON SANBORN cut is RIP'ing my mentions. http://t.co/VZnrhMchWy

@RQUINN619: .@CaptainKevinWNY apparently garrison sanborn is about as important as Sammy Watkins to you guys

@RQUINN619: @Syracuse_Bills @Sports716Cards @celestealbone @RyanTalbotBills not saying LS no value . if you can get 75% of him elsewhere, do it

@RQUINN619: YES!? That's why the article was "MY Prediction of #Bills 53-Man Roster)RT @Syracuse_Bills: @RQUINN619 do u actually think Bills cut sanborn

@RQUINN619: I hate you, Garrison Sanborn

Does it matter? We're talking about a LS.

  7. It really is too bad that Greggo Marrone could not figure out a way to work with Stevie. It should not have been that difficult, but with limited coaching experience and a thin skin it seems like it was not meant to be. I think SJ will do well in SF. It was nice having a guy that loved being a Bill. I think Eric Wood loves it, Freddie loves it and CJ says he loves it. I hope Sammy adopts SJ's mind set in many aspects. When Greggo Marrone is inevitably jettisoned after this year maybe we will get a coach more capable of dealing with pro players and situations.

Absolutely a horrible trade. SJ was Buffalo. We needed him this season to get us where we want to be. Rookie WRs hardly ever make an impact in the first season. This "All-in" BS is exactly that. BS. This team should make a big stride this season, with no SJ or Alonso, I'm not so certain this team will be good enough to fight for a playoff birth.

I firmly believe Marrone is gone along with the whole Front Office after this season. The new owner will bring in someone with credibility as GM and HC along with an NFL OC.

  8. Here is a snippet from the Bills-Carolina Preview (Posted on buffalobills.coms)

“A lot of the stuff was small details, not getting our depth on some routes and stuff like that,” said Robert Woods. “That just takes focus. We’ve got to pay attention to it in the game this Friday. But we’ve been able to get a lot of work in.”

The NFL is a parity driven league and a game of inches. Games are won-lost by plays that are made and plays that were just missed respectively. The good teams are well coached and the players are focused in making their throws, catches, tackles, interceptions. The difference in talent level is minimal; It boils down to how they play every snap for SIXTY Minutes on game day. The Bills have been POOR at that Task. A lot of that is mental ability to stay focused and that comes from coaching.

The reason a Brady or Manning are successful is because those minute details matter to them and that is the difference between an incomplete pass and a TD.

Exactly. There is no accountability in the Bills locker room and that will be their undoing. Someone has to get in these guys faces and tell them you're not doing your job. Does that guy exist in the Bills locker room?

  9. I was just watching sports center and the ESPN analyst said Buffalo will NOT keep four RB's going into the season. Look for the Bills to unload CJ Spiller before the season starts according to him.

    This could get interesting...........

Trade for another player or trade for an extra draft pick for next season?

They want to win this season right? Why would they trade him unless they get a 1ST ROUND DRAFT CHOICE FOR 2015. That is the price that would need to be paid to trade CJ.

  10. My fear now is that the front office will think, "Hey, why re-sign Cordy Glenn when we have a nice prospect at left tackle in Henderson?" It could end up being fortuitous that Kujo is struggling if it makes the decision makers hesitate to thin out the line.

But maybe I'm overreacting. I'm still depressed they let Jonas Jennings go...

Jonas Jennings? Wow, was he some kind of LT that used to play for the Bills?

What happens, happens man. Survival of the fittest in the NFL!

  11. Marrone once told CJ to tell the o line they aren't blocking properly. Something like.... The difference between you and me is I would get in their face. That's a good message

Really? If that's true, then this gives me hope. Maybe this will instill some leadership in these guys. They got to force their will upon that line if they want to get better.

  12. There, I said it. No disrespect to any of the other teams in the division. But this truly is our time! The Patriots are the Patriots but we have played them very close in at least one game per year for the last few years and we have let them off the hook more than them winning those games.

I do expect the Jets to be a very difficult task for the Bills. They will have a strong ground game with a stifling defense. QB Geno Smith won't have the weapons that EJ has and quite frankly I think EJ is the better QB. There would be no shame in a split with them and that is what's going to be needed to capture the division.

The Dolphins should be last in the division but that doesn't make them a push over. With an unsettled OL the Bills' DL should be able to put plenty of pressure on Tannehill. Their ground game isn't intimidating and while they have decent WRs and a solid TE this is where we win on defense.

I do believe that 9-7 or 10-6 can win this division and that it's very realistic for the Bills to achieve this. Of course if we were to take significant injuries than you can throw all this out the window but the same could be said for any other team in the league. Could the Bills even have a better record than this? Of course they can but a lot of things would have to fall in place for them for this to happen. All I want is for them is to play good sound football and not shoot themselves in the foot like they have so many times in the past several years. 2014 is our time, now let's go do it!

    Go Bills!

I'll believe it when I see it. I don't see the Bills doing much better than last year.
