  1. Oh man, I disagree strongly... Fred in my opinion one of the best RB's in the NFL in pass pro. CJ on the other hand, makes mistakes and when he does pick up the correct guy he is often time overpowered and gets pushed back really easily.

Exactly... we all know it's not fatigue, but Chan isn't going to throw his best offensive weapon under the bus either

Yes. Good OP and this ^^^^

Fred Excels and CJ, not soo much.

But the idea of an extra OL or TE and a few power runs wouldn't make us worse!

  2. News flash: WE are not playing anything. For the PLAYERS and COACHES, this is true. But we're fans, and we're entitled to enjoy an entertaining season even if we don't win a championship. That's why 60,000+ show up for a nearly-meaningless December game in the cold and rain.

Personally, I enjoyed the 4 Super Bowl seasons tremendously (except the Super Bowls themselves) and in my view it was the Golden Age of Bills fandom (and I go back to 1965 with them).

And I'd like to enjoy a competitive 10 or 11 win season. It gives us hope of future championships, but as we all know, hope is not a necessary element of Bills fandom.

Seriously? We are entitled to enjoy an entertaining season. I would agree with that. When was the last time Ralph provided one of those??

  3. This board is (mostly) Friggin Delusional.. You play for one reason and that is to Win a Championship. If you had some crazy notion that we are last years NY Giants. Whatever, get over it. We are not. Damn, I hate the Jests and their fans but at least they don't sit around thinking they have a chance to win anything this year. We suck. We have sucked for a while. Good teams win a game or two against good teams. Oh, we do to. Once a season.

I am not being negative and will forever be a fan, but the one thing that has helped me this decade plus is realism. Hey I'm even optimistic. Was WAY optimistic when the season started. But to even think about playoffs or utter the word after week 7 was/is mindless. We are who we are. Let's not pretend the AFC is weak and we just have to get in the playoffs. Back in the early 90's that was the case b/c we had a good team with good coaching.

    C'mon now.

  4. Could it be that Buddy and Chan knew there'd be some rough spots but did not want a QB controversy and potentially divisive locker room?

Buddy: "Ralph, we just need 100 million for Mario and 50 Million for Fitz."

Ralph: "50 Friggin MILLION for FITZ??"

Buddy: "Yes, we realize he's not THAT great, but it will show everyone in the locker room there is no QB controversy and then we can get a real QB next year!"

Ralph: "Genious, here's my checkbook, all those zero's don't really mean anything do they??"

Buddy: "Just sign at the bottom Ralph."

    Yeah. That's probably what happened.

    :flirt:

  5. More rumors, not sure if this was posted: (BTW, I for one do not want the scumbag here. Ooops, did I just say that?)

    Vick with Buffalo next year?

News: Philadelphia quarterback Michael (I kill dogs) Vick, who has already been ruled out for Week 14 at Tampa Bay with a concussion and who is also likely not to play again as a member of the Eagles, could find himself as Buffalo's quarterback next year, reports Yahoo! Sports. Yahoo's Jason Cole said three "NFL sources," indicated to him that Vick may end up with the Bills next season.

Analysis: Vick said he hasn't experienced any symptoms of his concussion over the past few weeks, but remains stuck in Phase 4 of his recovery. If he advances to the next level, he would be able to participate in contact drills, but there is no clear timetable for that process as he needs to clear an ImPACT test first. Fantasy owners shouldn't hold out much hope for Vick to make a contribution the rest of the season and continue to view other options at quarterback beyond Week 14. The Eagles have committed to Nick Foles going forward and it appears that Vick's days with the team are numbered.

  6. I think we all agree that they are better than their record. The potential on the team is probably there for a playoff run. IMO it's the coaching staff that has held is back. Just like good to great QBs find a way to win, so do coaches and Chan hasn't done this.

In all seriousness, I agree with the OP not with the thinking that we are better than our record. I think perhaps half the fan base thinks we are better than our record (and half of those are homers).

Would like to know what do others think?

  7. I don't know if any of you guys seen it. But after one of Freddie's big runs he bent down, looked at the sideline towards the coaches and clapped emphatically. As if to say, "This is what you guys should have been doing all along."

Did anybody else see this or was it just me?

Actually I agree. Saw it too and thought the same thing!

Only problem is: Does it really matter? Chan, like any head coach has 60 players on there team with opinions.

Loved it myself, but when we finish 7-9, who cares??

  8. The weather forecast on Weather.com (I do not live in Western New York) says it will be 50 with 21 mph winds and a 60% chance of rain. I see a whole lot of Fitzie throws nose diving into the turf, or flying out of bounds. Have you all seen that he has absolutely NO IDEA how to throw the back shoulder out pattern to Stevie or any other of our receivers? The ball always ends up out of bounds 5 yards behind the receiver. If we run the ball 40 times, given the weather conditions, we should win fairly easily. But given what our coach is capable of, that will most likely not happen, and it will be dogfight of a game with everyone probably in shock as the 4th qtr winds down and Chad Henne, Mike Malarkey and the 2-9 Jaguars beat our beloved Bills. There was no life in the team in Indy. Why would there be any life in the team another game further from the playoffs with a coach that the players know will not give them a gameplan they can win with, and make boneheaded decisions throughout the game? I personally will feel humiliated losing to Jacksonville. But I will be smiling inside knowing that Gailey will most definitely be fired at the end of the season if he coaches another game anywhere close to the level of last weeks debacle in Indy. Have a good weekend to all.

I completely disagree. Fitz does not need wind and rain to throw the balls in the dirt and out of bounds!

    :flirt:

  9. It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if the Jags win here, and in easy fashion. Henne is hot, Mularkey and Poz (who would still be here if it weren't for the failed defensive switch) are returning and the Bills suck. Not sure it would be a disaster though, maybe a little to strong of a word. I mean flies can land on excrement, but it already stunk before the flies arrived, so is it really a disaster? A disaster is Chan's play calling, Fitz's play and Ralph's ownership.

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :lol::lol:

    Thanks for brightening my day!
