No cash to the cap team has ever won a Super Bowl?
I didn't know that.
I'm sorry. The list includes the following.....
Please add....
-
This is why I'm glad the Bills mostly follow the cash-to-cap philosophy.
Of course, another negative to the Jets GM job besides the salary cap problem is the status of Rex Ryan. Having an untouchable head-coach limits the GM's power and probability of success.
OH God Seriously. What fan would ever say...I'm glad my team follows a cash to the cap philosophy? That BS has won how many Championships?? Which teams? That type of thinking is propaganda spewed by teams (Bills) trying to make money and not win.
What SuperBowl Winning teams are applying the Cash to the Cap "philosophy"? What team has used that philosophy to end up 13 years with no playofffs??
Winner winner Chicken dinner.

Git er done!
Ralph is cheap!
(now that we have that out of the way) Carry on!
Rob Ryan out as Cowboys defensive coordinator. "I have no sour grapes," Ryan said. "I know I did a hell of a job. I will find another spot."
Did he Really just say that???

This is the best thread ever.
-
I'd like
Greg Williams as head coach
Dick Jauron as DC
Chan Gailey as OC
I just threw up in my mouth.
No Thank you!!
-
Nothing says we cant bring them back. But it was only fair to them, and the new head coach, to let them go.
Exactly. That's how it works.
-
The question is, who is willing to go back in time and right these wrongs while the rest of us get over it already?
Either Marty McFly or Superman. I would actually like to see Marty give it a go.
Thoughts?

I say we burn the OP at the stake, then stone him.
No....I say we stone him and then burn him at the stake!!!

I think this is a great day for the Bills.....Russ is a money man and he has to know that the bottom line becomes healthier with a winner. He also knows (I hope) that it takes money to make money....I am cautiously optimistic.......
OMG, me too.
It's like I saw you across a crowded room!

YES!
YES!
YES!
Bills fans here in Syracuse are hoping that the Bills select SU Orange head coach Doug Marrone as their new head coach and that they also select SU Orange QB Ryan Nassib in the 2013 NFL draft.
YES!

Shirley, you can't be serious.

All these rumors but no one in any media has picked up on an ownership change. Gailey getting fired, yes. But a change of ownership? Seems far fetched. You would think King, Shefter, Mort, etc... would have sniffed that out.
Thanks soo much for bringing this conversation somewhere back to earth. For X-mas sakes, Sounds like there will definitely be some coaching changes. Was printed in the B-news today. Now Peter King saying the same thing, Now all the freak-tards are turning this into an ownership change overnight.
That ain't happening tomorrow or this week. Perhaps JK joins the front office, but RW is smart enough NOT to sell the team this week. (Buy low, sell high). No way/reason to sell the team at an incredible low point. Hire a good coach/GM, have the lease deal in place, perhaps have JK in the front office, then perhaps sell when there is the slightest bit of excitement surrounding the team. Please stop F5-ing this thread and get a grip!
Go Bills!

2. A ton of teams are banged up. The Steelers are decimated. The Ravens lost their top 5 tacklers. It's the NFL and people get injured. We actually were probably one of the heathlier teams this year. Makes it even more depressing.
THIS ^^^^ All teams have injuries. We just have a tendency to suck.
-
No, it's more money in Ralph's pocket. The canadians support the bills but our poor record short changes them.It helps keep the team in Buffalo
Yeah. Love Eric Wood. But I understand the reasoning. But guess what, the biggest thing is we need a better team/coach/owner.
Teams play in Europe. And teams like the Pats win in Europe. Winning cures EVERYTHING. You win fans like you fans travel etc etc.
By the way, winning is a habit. And so is losing!!

Just found this. Not sure if it was posted. Pretty darn good.

Here it is. An alphabetical list of every retread HC, perceived HC commodity, "I've heard of him", or on someone's 'wish list' coaches for Ralph to consider to be his next Kevlar vest. For sure, the Bills next HC is on this list. If not, please feel free to add yours.

Looking forward to Gangam Style. At least there will be some entertainment today.
Can the guy sing coach and play QB?
Triple threat??

Allen was an artist down there. He alway picked the right hole and approach (high leap, submarine, bounce outside, cut inside).
Csonka was the premier power only back in my lifetime. I never saw Bronko Nagurski play (thank god I'm not that old) but I imagine Csonka must have been similar in his ability to carry tacklers while simultaneously running other tacklers over.
For those that remember Mike Alstott, Alstott couldn't hold a candle to Csonka.
I would add that my recollection is that John Riggins was a great goal line back.
I would say John Riggins. He was a BEAST at the goal line.
Hated that guy....but the kind of back you'd love to hate.
Take him over Marcus Allen any Sunday.
(and that is no diss to Marcus. Riggins was that good!)

I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink
No,no,no.
I'm so tired I don't know what to do
I'm so tired my mind is set on you
I wonder should I call you but I know what you would do
You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind
I'm so tired, I'm feeling so upset
Although I'm so tired I'll have another cigarette
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid git.
You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind
I'd give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind
I'd give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind

Why would anyone use dish water for eggs?
Um, that's dash. (not dish).
-
When you make scrambled eggs do you use a dash of water or milk?? I always heard water actually makes fluffier eggs.
Thanks CJ.

Even if it is the coaching - who hired the coach?
Exactly!!!! That's what frustrates me with Buddy.
No Excuses!!!
-
Buddy frustrates me. I took a lot of logic and philosophy classes in college.
IF we are better, and we have the same or worse record, THEN (to me) by definition it is the coaching that is the problem.
IF we are not better talent wise, THEN by definition it is the GM that is the problem.
Which is it Buddy???? Let's have some accountability!!
Your killing me!
(OK, I feel a little better now).
-
NO. He's a quitter. First and foremost.
This ^^^^ And the FACT that he is Not coming to Buffalo!!!
David Lee to be Jets QB Coach? (now official)
in The Stadium Wall Archives
Posted
Agreed. I'll drink to that. I am not a Lee fan b/c of what happened this year. I know he came from the Fins and his history with the wildcat but.....does he have any history of helping a veteran QB???
