Nowhere in this thread did I indicate that I even drink alcohol at all, let alone go to games drunk. You are just making this up, as you have a bunch of other things in this thread. Nobody likes that condescending, lecturing type of personality either, just FYI. So, while you suggest to me how I should not do something you have no clue whether or not I actually do, I'd suggest to you that others would like you more if you dropped that personality trait.

The topic of this thread asks whether Bills games are really that family unfriendly. Myself, and several other posters are responding that we feel that the stadium is not overly unfriendly on game day, and that many of the people writing that there are literally ten thousand people so drunk that they are falling down, vomiting everywhere, and urinating in their seats is just untrue in our experience. Then, a poster came in with a puritanical view of alcohol consumption, which again many posters took exception with. Many mature, responsible adults feel that consuming alcohol is not inherently evil, and that alcohol consumption on stadium grounds does not turn Ralph Wilson Stadium into some sort of Lord of the Flies style living hell. After this, you took this discussion and somehow changed the title of this thread to "Do you feel that people getting drunk to the point of falling down, and vomiting/urinating freely in their seats is bad?" Answer to that is yes, so I suppose you nailed it

You can subtly interject little digs at those who are disagreeing with you, saying things like how you wish I could go to a football game without being drunk. Good stuff, right there. Yes, I think that the doom and gloomers here are exaggerating things quite a bit in order to be inflammatory in their assessment of behavior at the stadium. Based on my experiences attending dozens and dozens of Bills games, I do not think that you are likely to witness someone literally urinating or defecating in their seats. I do not think that you are likely to have someone pour a beer on your head. I do not think that you are likely to get assaulted by an intoxicated fan. I just don't think these things happen as much as folks are letting on. I've seen one person throw up in their seats, and I'm not certain whether or not it was alcohol related. I'd imagine that plenty of people vomit at Disneyworld every day, too. I've never personally felt unsafe or harassed at a game. I guess I just hit the lottery, even with a whole bunch of samples.

And yes! You do indeed become "undrunk" after a long period without additional consumption of alcohol. The body truly is a magical thing! And, it gets even better! People who drink can also choose to allow others to drive them home. People who haven't consumed any alcoholic beverages at all! Amazing!

I'm sorry that you are uncomfortable around adults consuming alcoholic beverages and assume that anyone does is "wasted" and "unruly" and "Does Not Play Well With Others". Lee Evans is a decent NFL receiver, and would be a good complimentary receiver on a team with a solid stud #1 possession-type receiver. He is overpaid for what he does, and he is screwed anyhow by having no quarterback. Oh and the guy saying that Lee Evans is about as good as the receivers on these teams: Tampa, Washington, New Orleans, KC, Philly, Indy, Balt, Pitts, NYJ Marques Colston, DeSean Jackson, Reggie Wayne, and Anquan Boldin would like to have a word with you. Also Sidney Rice from Minnesota, a team that Lee Evans would _clearly_ be the #1 receiver on. LOL. He's a #20 receiver in the league. Not bad, but also really bad when your next best receiver is maybe the 100th best. Also, seriously no, C.J. Spiller should not be turned into a wide receiver. That is a terrible idea. You generally want to take your high draft picks and play them at their actual position. Just saying.

I think a lot of the people here get off on wildly exaggerating the amount of unruly behavior at the Ralph. I've been going to games all my life (early 30s now), and have had season tickets for a long time. Sure, I'll see the occasional person who is visibly intoxicated staggering around the parking lot before games (esp. the rare night game), but some people make it sound like every other person is literally vomiting on them. I've tailgated in every stadium lot, and I've had seats in the endzone corners, and seats closer to the middle of the lower bowl. As the seats got better, the rowdiness declined. But even in the rowdiest of sections you won't hear/see much more than some crass language and an occasional shouting match. People like to drink a few beers and get loud. If you (or your kids) come to the stadium wearing the jersey of the opponent, you absolutely should expect to get razzed about it. Oh no, someone told little Jimmy that the Dolphins suck. I suppose he'll be committed to a life of crime now. My childhood memories are much the same - hearing some language that I didn't hear on a daily basis, and it was pretty darn fun and exciting. Let your kids out of the house - it'll be ok. People aren't running around murdering each other and projectile vomiting all over your precious snowflake.

Being a Bills fan is the best for one simple reason: If and when our time ever comes to win the Superbowl, nobody will ever be able to appreciate it more and enjoy it more thoroughly than Buffalo Bills fans. And the good thing for you, the new fan, is that the team is still at the bottom and will be there for long enough for you to build up that anticipation too! One final thought - don't let anyone talk you into defending a Bills quarterback who will not and can not perform at an elite level. Demand justice until the team finds one. Your choice. I guess I get more entertainment out of voicing my frustrations and trying to convince others that they should change their attitudes, because once Bills fans stop being doormats some actual change can be effected. It will never get better until the true fans of this team (and I'd say people that take time out of their day to post on unofficial message boards count) say enough is enough. I still think Leodis McKelvin played really well, and is part of the group that makes up the bright spot on this team.

Perhaps the one lacking in common sense is the one defending the product that you are seeing on the field on Sundays. I don't know anything about you, so I neither respect nor disrespect you. I know all too well the Buffalo Bills, and it is in fact them that I have lost respect for. Heck, have some _self respect_ and take your head out of the sand.
