  1. Jags are stupid but not Raiders - Dolphins - Bears level stupid.
  2. we need a voodoo shaman to exorcise the karma of having built the Ralph on an indigenous burial ground
  3. Like you, I just want one impact player in this draft. I'm fine if its at WR. I just don't want to mortgage the farm. I don't expect a TJ Watt type player from where we pick either.
  4. I will miss Diggs. He delivered and played with passion. Drama too but he backed it up. He's a great football player. He's also entering year ten of his career and Beane was right to get something for him while he could. Is there a diva WR who has won a ring? Only Andre Rison and Antonio Brown come to mind and their teams didn't exactly win because of them.
  5. Beane has forgotten more football than David Tepper will ever know
  6. I would rather spend our draft capital on defense or the OL where its needed. If this draft is as receiver rich as we're told we shouldn't need to trade up. Stefon Diggs was a 5th round pick. Marques Colston was undrafted. Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacqua were late round picks. I like big marquee names as much as anyone but I'm quite comfortable winning ugly. We have had no defensive impact players in the Clappy/Beane era. Enough with expecting Josh to pull out miracles every week. How about a stout run game, another pass rusher and some players on the back 7 who can tackle?
  7. I just checked in with Rex Ryan and the offseason is apparently not over yet
  8. I can only watch so much screaming. After awhile it loses its urgency.
  9. Had Bills seasons from 2006 to 2018 with three other guys. Best money I ever spent on having a good time. Had an Oakland Raiders season ticket account which i bought as an investment (stop laughing!) We had front row seats on the 40 yard line and still lost money on the resale market. Only serious money I ever made reselling tickets was NCAA Final Four
  10. they were the only team that hasn't blocked Beane's calls
  11. the fact that he was named in a murder rap but never arrested gives us the street cred we've been missing
  12. always liked Jabari Greer
  13. how bad was his fibula fracture?
  14. The Vikings second rounder is a lot more valuable than the Texans second rounder
  15. Salary dump for a player in the latter part of his prime. Better to bail too early than too late. This draft is wr rich. If we are a consistent 10+ win team the draft pick we get is important in keeping us competitive. That said Stefon has a lot of good football left. I don't like the fact that he's still in our conference. Some combination of Josh, Beane and Clappy thought this was the right move. I'm at peace with it.
  16. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39853342/arizona-cardinals-terry-mcdonough-arbitration-defamation I'm starting to think Michael Bidwill is the next NFL franchise ex-owner. Also the first owner to be successfully sued by an ex-employee. It is quite eye-opening just what level of human trash we are dealing with here among the owners.
  17. Teams don't drop a losing culture overnight. The Holmgren era Packers lost in the playoffs to Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys for years before breaking through. I believe with the changes in coordinator we are in a better place than we were since that AFC title game. Beane and McDermott are legacy hires. I am more convinced than ever that we'll get it by staying the course. It must just be one like Madden, Holmgren, Ditka, Carroll, Payton, Gruden, Dungy and Cowher but I'll take it.
  18. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has a nice ring to it.
  19. At some point you get on with your life
  20. Looks like football, smells like football, tastes like football
  21. His defense is a pet boa constrictor
  22. I've never read anything negative about Josh, not even on this board. He's universally recognized as a franchise QB. He's carrying the heavy karma of the team's legacy and it's a heavy cross to bear but I think he's holding up admirably. It's up to Beane to field a team good enough to beat the Chiefs on a good day. When you have a great QB the rest shouldn't be too hard.
