Yes this smacks of a gift from one Bill to another. I'm wondering if O'Brien is the only guy from the Belichick coaching tree who still enjoys BB's respect.

I'd take Pryor or Dysert in a heartbeat

I so totally agree. It should not have taken this long to get a viable veteran QB. It seems like this team is more concerned about players feelings than fielding a winner.

Greetings Dude, I haven't been banned but I got tired of waiting for the BBMB thought police to sanitize the board. I don't buy technologically how the main board can be down but every other board can work. I may set up shop here permanently.

This team is so scared of a QB controversy they'd rather have no good QBs than two good ones

maybe Haslam will reply from Alcatraz or Attica

he's a great citizen but his best days are behind him

let's draft this guy. He could be a success

Dixon has more game than Thad IMO and should be kept around. He played some good ball for the Steelers when he had the chance

is there any team he hasn't coached for?
-
I think he's got no more rabbits up his sleeve unless he can coax Tony Gonzalez to play for us.

Cowher won't coach again. He no longer has the fire. Same for Gruden. Let it go.

We need to improve our scoring ability. We've only just begun to invest in our OL. We need a tall red zone threat at either WR or TE. It's gotta be offense.

I'm glad Kyle doesn't have to go under the knife this offseason. I feel bad for him that he has had to endure so much mediocre in a high risk sport. Apparently the culture change is reactive rather than proactive. We continually wait until players prove they can't perform before we change anything. That's crummy leadership.

there is not a big time college program in operation that has not done similar

so were you screwed out of your pension? Sorry I don't know what PBGC means35 years with United Airlines. I turned 55 and 3 weeks later they filed CH 11. Retired in 2003, they dumped our pensions into PBGC in 2004 , I had no idea what PBGC was, or that United could do such a thing when I decided to retire. Same thing happened to many WNY'er's in the Steel & Auto industries. So they go thru "Bankruptcy," emerge as the "new" United Airlines and suddenly have Billions to spend on new 787's & A-350's. WTF!!! I was blessed, found another job (56 years old) and have been there 9.5 so far. Hopefully I'll try to really retire in the next year or two with a small State Pension-unless they go broke too!.
How can you not at least root for Manual?

I am more than a little surprised and disappointed at the intensity of the dump EJ movement among Bills fans. He showed me enough in the Panthers and Ravens games last year to make me believe that he has the raw material to be a winning QB. I think he can play at a Joe Flacco - Steve McNair level. That said I have been disappointed about the lack of quality back ups on our roster for many years. I applaud the signing of Orton and only wish that it had come sooner. Not because I think EJ is a bust but because since the Flutie/Johnson years this team has bottomed out after their starter went down. If EJ is injury prone we need a viable back up. If EJ is unschooled he needs a credible mentor. If EJ is a bust we need a credible alternative. If Ralph were alive we never would have signed Orton. He was always content to let the fan base twist in the wind if the starter of the day got hurt or didn't meet expectations. I see Orton as insurance to buy time for the front office regime should EJ not look like he's ready on schedule.
