What specific players, at what cost and how to acquire?

Why can't some Bills fans handle winning or losing? I guess it is better to be woe is me.

I am curious how he got the Bills draft grades.

A little bummed about this since Rankins, when healthy, is really really good. I was hoping he would fall to the Bills in the 2016 draft - but NO picked him and we ended up with Shaq Lawson. That line with Q. Williams, Franklin - Meyers, Carl Lawson and now Rankins looks quite good on paper.
Key question is, of course, how healthy is Rankins?
Good news - the games are not played on paper.

Hurry before all the new money comes rolling in from Amazon and the TV deals. 10 years, 420 million with 120 million guaranteed.

The Bills do need a kick returner.

Beane has already called Barkely to say thanks for everything.......
A class move.

This seems like a position for an ex-Bills player. Other then the Carolina connection, wonder why him.

Not physically picking up Mack. But maybe there for negotiations? Bears have to get under the cap, so Mack or Fuller could be in the cards. Never know.
Pretty sure they can negotiate over zoom. Would the league even allow?

John Ross is a terrible receiver. Like terrible. He doesn't run good routes. Has stone hands and has never had more than 28 catches in a season. Sanders could be 43 and more productive than ross
This does not seem complicated - Ross is not an NFL receiver.

Yes please
What would you pay?

Well yes. But conversely, if they didn't ever take a risk on a player they wouldn't currently have a franchise QB.
A first round pick is not a flyer.

Speed without football skill is a track meet.
If the Bills took "a flyer" on every high risk player there would be no good players on the team only 90 flyers.

What do we do?
Imho, we need a huge influx of talent at pass rusher but can't afford him and he'll come way overpriced....
We definitely need some major talent added to the defense. DE, CB and DT. Never mind backup LB.
We also need major talent added to WR and TE.... and have to find someone to compete with the four RBs we currently have and is good enough to perhaps win the job. Never mind we need a guard and a back up OT.
LOL, Our needs to be a Super Bowl favorite are many.
Major talent needed at WR - interesting.

Is it more likely they get the Raiders version or the Eagles version. I suspect it will be the Eagles.

True providing he’s willing to file the paperwork after June 1.But even if the Bills don’t request repayment of his bonus, I think Joe B is mistaken that he gets his guaranteed salary this year if he hangs up his cleats
In an article about the Brees retirement, it is when the team files the paperwork not the announcement.

Houston is going to 4-3 D and does not need 2 ILB. Makes sense for both teams.

I’d take a chance on Clowney. We got a plethora of JAG’s on the D Line. Dude possesses elite talent. As McDermott says, come here and be the best version of yourself. He needs us as much as we need him and he’d come cheap.
Even if he comes cheap he has been injured and non productive the last few years. I hope Beans takes a hard pass.

Why not give John Ross a 1 year prove it deal?
Why? He has speed but is often injured with subpar WR skills.

why not?
The other responses in this thread say why not. The real question is why?

Looks like Beane wants to win another executive of the year award.
