  1. Has this been discussed?

During the Cincy - Indy game, just before the half a Cincy WR caught the ball on an out pattern. He was close to out of bounds, and it was hard to tell if he had full control before going out of bounds. Dalton hurried everyone to the line and spiked it to kill the cloak with 2 seconds left. On trots the Cincy kicker, ball is snapped whistle blows… Hold on, the prior play is under review. So no kick.

How can you run a play (the spike play) and then review the play prior to that? I thought once a play is run, there can be no review?

  2. The announces pointed out several times that the 3rd string running back is/was injury prone and had a history of fumbles. Add to that the loss of your #2 WR. Indy lined up more guys in the box, and doubled Bowe. They gambled that a short passing attack would work, and lost. But to get beat on the deep bomb to Hilton that split a 2 deep zone is inexcusable.

I don't know if the better team won, but certainly Indy would be a much healthier team next week.

  3. I often tease my dad, "Dad, you said no loose girls, no drugs, no alcohol. Why didn't you say 'No Bills"?

The Bills are the only team I care about. I yell, scream, hoot, holler and cheer at the TV. Sometimes I leave the room in a huff, and slink back into room hoping things have changed. But they rarely do. When it comes to football in general, if the Bills aren't playing, and I'll just sit and watch. No yelling, no emotional interest.

Honestly, if the Bills left Buffalo I don't know if I'd even follow the game anymore. I know I would forever hate the new city they moved to.

I became a fan in the late '60's, and have endured some 2-12 years, the decade of failure against the Dolphins, and every humiliation since. But like a moth to a flame, I keep believing. Hence the screen name.

True story: I used to bargain with God that they'd win ONE Super Bowl before I die. I got a little nervous in the 90's. I'm in my 50s now and have come to the conclusion that the good Lord must be planning on a long life for me.

  4. Kiko likes to get up early and work out. But he hates that it is so dark. Out of respect, we all agree to turn our clocks BACK by one hour. Kiko is pleased…..

I am reminded of the quote from Conan to Barbarian. Allow me to paraphrase:

Reporter: "Kiko, What is best in life?"

Kiko " To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."
