I think that is bunk.... what do these players have in common? Drew Brees, Bryan Dawkins, Wes Welker, Cedric Benson, Kyle Orton, Kurt Warner... I could go on and on. They are players that other teams for one reason or another gave up on. It's a different NFL than it was when Bruce, Jimbo, Thurman all stayed an played for one team for the most part. The business requires teams must make tough decisons. I think if you examine all teams you'll find a laundry list of ex-players performing in the NFL. And did you really say Nate Clemens.. how's that working out?

Once Shanahan signs, Denver is off the hook I believe that's how it works, or some type of settlement kicks in.
