  1. He's just not a great receiver. The fear is always that a great player slips away and has a lot of success somewhere else. That's not happening with Gabe. He's a one-hit wonder.
  2. Not ready. How often has it been the case that a new coordinator has success, only to fall back to earth after teams adapt to their tendencies? I will say that Dorsey was a cancer. Promoting him to OC almost destroyed this team. With that perspective, Brady is doing a great job so far. Dorsey was a rolodex coordinator. He didn't have any strategy. Brady is definitely more of a strategist. And he knows how to use Cook. Let's get all the RBs involved! Not sure about the comparison to a HoF player. But yes, Thurman was an elite pass catcher in his time. If Cook can get going even more this team will win more games no doubt.
  3. One official signaled out of bounds, the other vetoed him. GAME OVER. Buffalo still has a shot at the division.
  4. The clock should be running but they stopped it . . . to review the catch.
  5. Why score there with that much time? Shouldn't Henry have gone down at the 1? A field goal from Miami wins the game. Tua and Tyreek can score no doubt. Vrabel is BRUTAL with clock management. The Belichick mystique has faded to nothing.
  6. I didn't let myself enjoy this earlier in the week. I'm enjoying it now though . . . Josh Allen is MEME
  7. I agree. Actually, it's a separate point that the officiating has sucked this year league wide. It would be nice if the players addressed it not during the heat of the moment. Maybe the NFLPA should make some demands for changes to how the NFL does its officiating business. It's disgraceful. But I just saw the clip of Mahomes in the post-game hug with Allen bitching to Allen about the call. I agree he's being [fill in the blank] in that moment. Maybe he's mad he's not getting the Swift [fill in the blank]
  8. True but this is the problem with NFL. There are terrible calls every week that go against teams. Sometimes it evens out, and sometimes it doesn't. For the team who gets screwed, they complain. But for the team who benefits from a bogus call, they keep their mouths shut. They are thinking "we have had so many bogus calls go against us, it's about time we got a lucky break." Not saying that's the case this week. Dude was clearly offside and it was the right call. But, last week, there was an egregious NO CALL against the Packers that cost KC the game. Not only that, but there have been multiple games this year that were decided not by the players, but by the officials and their terrible calls. I agree with the spirit of what Mahomes is saying, even if it's not applicable to this case. The bottom line is that the NFL officiating is a total disaster and needs to be overhauled and reimagined from the ground up. It's disgraceful.
  9. Does someone want to tell Brady that the field is wet?
  10. My thoughts exactly. I used to like him . . . before I realized he's just another attention [fill in the blank]
  11. Are we sure? Chris Simms said on his podcast that they should try Davis in the slot and put Shakir on the boundary. Why can't Shakir play on the outside? I'm honestly asking.
  12. That's is a pretty sad way to characterize a supposed #2 receiver: "a competent run blocker." Chris Simms said on his podcast multiple times that Gabe is not a legit #2. Said Shakir is a stronger option on the boundary and Davis should be in the slot. If all Gabe brings to the table is run blocking it's time to move on from him.
  13. I hope so. Davis had his moment of fame. He was a one-hit wonder. He's not fast; he doesn't run great routes; and he doesn't have good hands. Plus he doesn't seem like great leader. He had his all-time great game and we'll always remember that moment of awesome. But he's practice squad material at this point. Time to move on.
  14. Anyone care to comment on this potential case of FRAUD? Scum bag thing to do if true; it's technically cheating. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/civil-lawsuits-would-be-easy-to-file-against-bengals-nfl-over-joe-burrow-injury
  15. The big mistake in all of this was choosing Dorsey in the first place. Who lets a 26 year QB choose his own offensive coordinator? That's ridiculous. "We want Josh to be happy and comfortable." Again, ridiculous. Pick the best coach. Dorsey was not the best guy available to coach the 11 guys on offense.
  16. I posted this in another thread, but it's super related to Dorsey's leadership position. It's clear that Dorsey is NOT A LEADER OF MEN. Watched Joe Brady's press conference. He is a hell of a lot more articulate than Dorsey. I couldn't believe how INARTICULATE Dorsey was! Stammering, stuttering, evading, incoherent guy when speaking. Either he wasn't aware, or he did not care about his poor public speaking. It seems a JOKE now that he was being considered for head-coaching gigs last year. How can a guy like that, who can barely speak, barely answer a question, be the face of a franchise? Not to mention, if he can't communicate in a down-to-earth way to the press, how well is he going to communicate with his players? I know it does not directly correlate, but it's a reasonable question to ask. Communication skills are communication skills. Dorsey, judging by his press conferences, had PATHETIC communication skills "Yeah, no, yeah, no, yeah no, no yeah," over and over again. What a weird verbal tic. Why speak that way when performing public speaking engagements? It's part of your job (even if it's not the most important one." You should still try to get better at it. Brady at least speaks confidently and commandingly. It may not translate into results. But at least you can listen to him speak without cringing

  18. Fitz + Allen = multiple SB championships. I'm all in on this.
  19. But Marv Levy said "if you start listening to the fans soon you'll be sitting among them."
  20. McDermott claimed it was him and him alone. But I wonder if that's the truth. Your thoughts?
  21. Taking random shots of someone's face is an ultimate troll move. I'm done feeding the troll.
