  1. and another thing...I may not go back as far as some of you 1k+ plus poster football einsteins would approve of, but: I started following the Bills in earnest following Derrick Burroughs ejection from the AFC championship game against Cincinnati back in 89. I saw a young team on the rise that didnt quite get it done, but GAWD my heart went out to a team that was so hungry, played so raw, with such a sense of urgency; a team on the cusp. Im from cincy, but days after the game I moved to vt where there IS no such a person as Ralph Wilson, or a city to support an NFL franchise, so they pipe in all the northeastern teams, so i was able to see them play every week for the next few years. I shet my pants right along with you when friggin Harmon dropped that ball in the endzone. My skin still crawls when i hear the words "wide right" regardless of what team kicked the ball. Brad Lamb is from the next town over from me "he may even be out of prison now" I hated Joe Pendrys offense. I took the Rob Johnson side of the argument, and guess what: both sides were right...and wrong. I had no idea how much i would miss Kelly; i never clamored for Collins to be put in, but i wasnt aversed...id grown way too accustomed to Kellys excellence, and had lost my appreciation for it. Bill Parcells still makes me want to puke. Frank Wycheck can still kiss my ass. Antowayne Smith was too old when we drafted him. I loved Jamie Muellers neck roll. Henry Jones had the best name for a safety in the history of the game, lol. I still wear my Kurt Schultz jersey. Trent Edwards had the tools to be an excellent nfl qb. He had as compact a throwing motion as anybody could ask for. Did he become snakebit, and gunshy? Of course he did. Did he have time to make any kind of reads? You answer that. Did Jauron have the personell to win with? Maybe. Were they on the field? not so much. I read all the genius posts by 1k+ posters absolutely DOGGING RW. Well lemme tell ya, RW "IS" the BILLS. Without Ralph there is no Buffalo Bills. Maybe youll get lucky and someone will find a way to keep them in wny after he's gone. My prediction is that when viewed in retrospect, all the years that rw was in control will be viewed as the golden years of Buffalo football. Keep in mind, I live in a city with Mike Brown as an owner, at one time the most reviled owner in the league. **** changes. luck changes. I had to listen to all the haters down here for years, that were sayin all the same snarky crap as you now. Calling for boycotts, lol. I guess my point is...posting on a thread is not some exclusive right. If you wanna whine and B word, thats fine, root for losses, ok...maybe they WILL draft another db (dont be caught swingin off Jairus Byrds knob, though)
  2. my "role"? I guess I was unaware of the exclusivity of posting on here...wooooooo. Thanks for teaching me my place. give me a break
  3. do you ever get tired of hearing that kind of garbage? Why didnt YOU apply to be a scout, youre obviously a COMIC genius, what makes you think you wouldnt be equally adept at scouting? Now back to that choad you were nursing, loser.
  4. you guys are all retarded....its obviously Bill Clintons fault.
  5. If the line can keep him upright, he cant be much worse than Fitzpatrick, plus you know he's pissed off, AND fully recovered from the concussion. Fitz is always gonna be Fitz. Im thinkin hes gotten the point about needing to close his eyes and heaving a few downfield. That mentality is the only thing that Fitz and JP had on him....the willingness to say f*** it. Not "just DO it"......."f*** it, heave it"
  6. There's not a nickles difference between Fitz and JP.....what Fitz has between the ears, he gives up in arm strength.
  7. The idea of sitting Evans is patently absurd. Allowing Owens the opportunity to get picked up by a potential playoff contender, thereby freeing up playing time for developmental receivers, seems like a reasonable proposition considering that everyone on the roster is playing for next year anyway now, seems reasonable. It could be done in such a way as to minimize the potential public relations damage such a move could cause if it were handled poorly. Id love to see what a healthy Steve Johnson could do given the opportunity. The best thing ive heard about Stevie is his ability to get off the initial jam, and get separation. Crossing patterns and slants sound pretty sweet to me about now, given the inability of our line to hold blocks. When i think about what our prospective roster would have been absent the injuries; and the fact that somehow we've been able to WIN four games with this patchwork roster of second and third and fourth stringers, Its gotta make me wonder what might have been. We cant be this snake bit with injuries three years in a row. Losing Mckelvin, Veek, Butler.....Poz for half the season, I mean COME ON. I really hope Woods is gonna recover. We need a QB...i had high hopes for Edwards, but his mind is crushed.
  8. God forbid the Bills finish with a winning record? You arent a Bills fan...you're a douchenozzle
