  1. Alot of people think you need a top 5 QB to win the super bowl, what you need is a top 5 defense and an offense that can manage a game. Fitzy is probably in my mind a top 15 QB, that is pretty damn good compared to the ones we have had over the past 10 years or so. Fitz is good enough and smart enough to get us to the super bowl, he can't and won't have to do it alone, he's got a great play caller, and an above average line in front of him, and two of the best running backs, combine that with a top 5 defense.. It's a team sport, you can't have pro bowlers at every position, we should be thank full our days of trent edwards / J.P. Losman / and others are over and we have a top 15 QB, maybe a top 10 if he plays like he did before the rib injury last year.. People act like if we don't have payton manning tossing the pigs skin around we have nothing... Me personally I think Fitz can take us, is the exact type of blus collor guy we want, and actually cares about winning....

  2. Pretty weak segment. The female host talked to Stevie for 3 minutes about how big Mario is and his own TD dance steps, a Fantasy update wher Fits is 23rd and because CJ & Freeddy will split the load, they are in the same neighborhood as Fitz (for RB's). No analyst comments, none. If I recall other 32 in 32 spots, they always seem to have the analysts discuss the teams' outlook. Not sure why they skipped it for our boys. Pretty disappointing.

My thoughts exactly..! I was extremely disappointed..

  3. They have those big laminated color coded sheets now.

I suspect using that would be quicker for them then trying to type something in.

Plus dropping that sheet isn't going to cause problems ;)

I see your point, but if I'm sitting in the booth as a defensive play caller, and all i need to do is type in the down and yards and 3 or 4 of my plays for that down and distance and team pop up then that seems pretty easy, as my assistant types in next to me how the play worked, so if it comes up again later in the game I can chose to pick it again or pick another.. It's kind of a stupid subject to talk about on here but I was just wondering is all..

  4. Just wondering if with all the technology now a days and the ability to write programs and develop customized programs if anyone knows if the defensive Corr. for example can just type in his Ipad or laptop that it's 3rd down and 5 on the 45 yard line, and he'd like to blitz if he can do something like that and maybe 4 or 5 different plays come up and he chooses one. Seems like a quicker way to find plays.. Do NFL teams do this already does anyone know.?

  5. Just read a few of the news stories about this and am just wondering, are any of you are any of you as annoyed as I am to hear a clamoring for a domed/retractable roof stadium?

Personally I would love a downtown venue, as long as there is enough parking/ tailgating space and a better or at least equal (to the ralph) traffic situation to and from the game. I realize what it could create some vigor in the city as a multi-use facility, but as a Bills fan I can't help but be selfish and only think of what it means to me as a fan. If there is a roof, in my opinion it will close in November and not open til May, I hope I'm wrong about this, but Ive rarely seen teams with retractable roofs keep them open in the cold. Especially in the Super Bowl even in warm areas like AZ and Houston where the roofs are for when it's too hot, the NFL chose to keep them shut. And in Toronto a few years ago the players wanted to open the roof in December and it didnt happen. So what I'm selfish about as a fan is this, there is a mystique about the Bills that goes beyond the players and organization, the harsh weather and grizzled, maniac fans who withstand it and enjoy it through thick and thin have been the true Identity of this team and I'd hate to lose it so that an RV or boat show can come through town.

    One more thought...

Of these 5 cities who has the worst weather? Minneapolis, Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, New York, Chicago. Of those cities whose football team is never in the conversation as having the best fans? Hint: the answer to both questions is the team that plays under a roof.

I think there thinking is that at roof will sell more tickets, less people come to games when it is cold and snowy...Also I don't think playing in a snow storm gives us any advantage over anyother team, it's not like we have had guys on our team that have lived in Buffalo all there lives and played football for the bills in the cold for the past 10 years. Most these guys are from down South and hate the cold just as much as the other team and are not used to playing in the snow anymore than players on the Carolina panthers or whoever.. I say get the roof if it helps sell tickets and keeps the Bills in Buffalo..

  6. I'm telling ya, Floyd will be the first pick, a LT in second because Hariston actually played well filling in last year and He and our second round pick ( Adams ? ) will battle for a starting spot. But Floyd IS the pick, if he even falls to us, his stock is on the rise...

Plus you know how Gaily like his play-making toys on offense...Say hello to Floyd in the first, LT Adams in the second... That would be a dream come true draft..!

  7. The reason to pick DeCastro is that many people have said he's the best guard to enter the draft since Steve Hutchinson in 2001. Nix might take him if he has a similar grade on him and Rieff isn't in the top 20. I wouldn't be upset if they took him at #10. If Floyd is gone I think there'd be a very good chance that he is the pick.

The plan at OLT would be to start Hairston, then kick Levitre out if Hairston can't cut it. Drafting an OT in round 2 would remain a possiblity and there are a few potential names out there. Reiff is the safer pick, but DeCastro then an OT in round 2 could make an outstanding OL. It'll be intereseting to see how much of a gambler Nix is.

To me this makes no sense, we need a LT not a guard, why would we take a guard at #10 and have him sit the bench behind Urbick and Lev. >? Or if he can start why kick out one of the guards we have that are playing good together.? were either drafting Floyd or a LT, and to me there will be no LT worth the #10 pick, but there is a couple good LT's that wil be there with our second pick and him and Hariston will battle for the starting spot, lets admit Hariston did not play bad last year at LT, thats why Floyd will be the pick, Hopefully Adams who is a LT will be there with our second pick, and it will be an OLB in the 3rd followed by CB in the 4th... This makes sense..

  8. I still think there taking Floyd, Nix has said he wants a big time WR, and Floyd is that guy at #10. We go LT in second round and OLB in 3rd, CB in 4th and Best available after that. But Nix himself has said many times we need that Calvin Johnson type WR, its going to be Floyd, unless some how Blackmon falls..
