  1. Dude is the definition of a loser.

Why do you say that? The guy is playing his a$$ off on defense..Because he fumbled? What about woods dropping a crucial 3rd down catch, or Chandler dropping the ball on third down?.. The guy clearly cares and wants to win, thats the exact type of players I want on this team... I want guys that are hungry and ticked after a loss... he's no loser, he's a player that plays with his heart on his sleeve.. Big deal he fumbled, Yes he cost us 7 points, but so did Bryce brown, so did Orton, so did the coaches, so did Woods, so did Chandler..They all cost us..

  2. I agree he should be fired, BUT to say he ran the ball too much this game is not really fair. How much of that was Doug telling him to run if any? And if you're playing with a huge lead is there really any reason to throw? The ran a lot in the fourth quarter as they should have, that's great coaching.. I'm not saying hackett is any good based off the past 7 games because he sucks, I'm just saying they ran a lot once they had the lead and that was the right thing to do..

  3. While I hope you're right the offense has hardly improved. In EJ's 4 starts we scored 23/19/10 and 17 points. In Orton's 3 starts we scored 23/22 and 17 points. That's not a whole lot of points more than EJ's offense. Although I agree Orton is the answer not EJ at the moment and I like Orton but I can't say I am putting them in the playoffs with an average offense, below average line, and backup running backs. Dixon looked horrible in pass protection last week. the Jets scare me, and unless we win our next 5 games (Jets,Kansas,Miami,Jets again, and Cleveland ) we're not making the playoffs. We're not going to beat New England, Denver or Green Bay.. Oakland is the other must win, and that only puts us at 10-6, but only if we win the next 5...9-7 won't cut it..

matter of fact EJ scored an average of 17.25 points per game while Orton is a field goal more at 20.66 points a game.. But you could argue EJ had the tougher schedule, but at the same time EJ had help with special teams and defensive touchdown..

  4. I'm not sticking up for McKelvin, but you could tell on one of those touchdowns he let the receiver go by expecting safty help (probably by design) and Corey Graham was not even close so Mckelving tried to chase the reciver down but by that time was too late. It looked to me as though Nikel Robey and Corey graham were out of position alot in this game and McKelvin and Gilmore were the ones that looked bad because of it. Gilmore couldn't have played the wide receiver better on the TD. So for me it was more the safties and Robey than it was Gilmore and Mckelvin.

I also can't believe people are complaining about Orton, he's passed for more yards in two games than Manuel did in 4 games, we lost the game because of poor pass defense, and poor offensive line play. Sure Orton threw a pick, thats on him, but every QB is going to through picks here and there. The fumble was on Glenn who clearly got beaten. When will this line learn to pass and run block...

  5. This is the problem with Buffalo, and the reason you/we will sit here and spin our wheels year after year letting our guys walk, moan and complain about weather the 11th pick was too high for a guy and he's playing like a 20th pick so we should get rid of him and so on, and now this.. Keep spinning your wheels Buffalo, but me personally I hope they re sign the most dynamic player in the NFL at RB and higher a new OC that can utilize it, rather than bank on letting him walk and Brown being the next McCoy..

  6. Red Zone Channel is great, but for truly addicted ADHD NFL nuts, DirecTV's Game Mix channel is the bomb. Eight games on a screen, and you can toggle between them to get the sound of the game that you want.

How much does something like this cost? Is it included with the Sunday ticket or is this something extra?

  7. I watched the Missed touchdown pass to Watkins in the end zone 3 times, It looked to me that Watkins was heading to the left more then cut it up after EJ let the ball loose, If Watkins would of held his pattern it would have been a strike. In my opinion it was on Watkins.. But none the less we won so who gives a crap...I'm sure they will get it corrected, two young guys and I'm sure it will be corrected..

  8. Actually, Mike, this being IMHO one of the best and most knowledgeable fan boards at its core, it's quite possible to have a great discussion with an "enemy fan" the week before the game.

I have seen several. The thing is, you have to come in with some knowledge and acknowledgement of your own team's flaws and not just "our DL > your DL nanna nanna boo boo" when they're both 3x pro bowlers and highly regarded.

Which finfan here hasn't so far, but hey, maybe he can learn.

I agree, and I should probably have worded it a bit better, but my point is also to your point. If your going to come here and be one sided without knowledge your not going to enter into a decent conversation..

  9. I just thought I'd give a little stat. Manuel completed just over 72% of his passes last week, and Tannahill completed 58%. Yes Tanny threw the ball 10 times more than Manuel, but that should have given him 10 more opportunities to complete a pass not 10 more chances to miss his targets against an average New England defense.
