  1. i think he meant that its just one game of 16. I dont think he actually was saying, o well its just a game.
  2. haha i hear ya alright thanks i will check my tv guide..thanks for the info!
  3. I know iv missed the bills yearbook on espn already, I think its been on a few twice. Does anyone have an idea if and when it will air again?
  4. Goodell announced a few weeks ago that every team will host a primetime game this year. On this schedule it only has us playing road primetime games, but i wouldnt be shocked if we have to go to new england for another primetime game. We never get to host anyone from the afc east in primetime. They always skrew us and make us travel to our foes for primetime..doesnt help that we havent won a home primetime game in a million years
  5. The thursday nite game against the jets last year was pretty ugly? Really? I think you should get ur facts straight. We lost 19-13. I dont think losing by six is ugly. Ugly would be the sunday nite home loss to the patriots..what was it 56-10?
  6. Wasnt there a quarterback with the name of JP Losman who's first career start was pretty solid. How did his career pan out?
  7. There is a song by kanye west that came out a few years ago. I heard it last summer. In it he says "we always hopin for the best, but expectin the worst." Jay Z also said that exact line in one of his songs on the bluebrint 2. Whenever i hear those two songs i think exactly of the bills. Its exactly us bills fans, were always hopin and prayin for the best, but were expecting the worst.
  8. Exactly. All offseason thats all we heard on espn was how the afc east title is between the pats and jets, and maybe the dolphins. And they woukdnt even mention the bills. And when someone would, they would laugh and say how they will be the worst team in football. When we shock the world this year im going to email every analyst on espn. They automatically assume that if ur bad one year, your going to be bad the next. And if ur good one year, ur guna be good the next. Perfect example was the browns a few years ago, they go 10-6 and everyone was saying the next year there def guna get the wildcard. They ended up winning what 5 games?
  9. couldnt agree with you more. He is aweful. Pisses me off that some people still think hes good or will be good. (especially my one friend who claims he is a bills fan but yet all he does it stick up for sanchez...what bills fan would stick up for another afc east quarterback) I dont think people realized what his stats were last year. I know stats dont mean anything and its all about the win loss column. But the guy had many aweful games last year but because of their insane defense last year, and there running game, they still managed to win those games.
  10. Couldnt agree more. Chan is the man. Every nfl and college coach that has coached with him has said many many good things about him and how smart he is. I cant wait for september 12. Chans Clan is going to shock the world this year. Yeaaaaaaaa boyyyyyyyyyy
  11. I've read several different articles this offseason about how the AFC east has three proven quarterbacks (Brady, Sanchez, and Henne) and one not so proven. Is it just me or are these people writing these articles insane. Obviously, Tom Brady is proven. But to say chad henne and mark sanchez are proven is just insane. Henne played decent last year, but that means hes now a proven quarterback? And mark sanchez threw TWENTY picks last year. He was very very average last year. They won so many games last year because of their amazing defense and dominant running game. Yes, he did his part in managing games and not losing games, but he certainly did not win many games with his arm at all. I know he played very very well in the postseason (with his arm), but come on now, i think to be called "proven" you have to have at least two or three solid seasons first.
  12. Believe me, all my friends hate the bills so i can take the heat. Im not pissed that they mocked them. Im pissed that there all writing us off after a preseason game. At least wait till the real week 1. I know we suck, and we have sucked. But you never know. Remember the dolphins 1-15 one year, division title the next. They were god aweful during that 1-15 year. Absolutely terrible...and yet they turned it around. Then again, they had solid coaching come in. We need parcells : (
  13. Dude believe me we all mock them. I do a lot too haha. All im saying is, even though we have been absolutely terrible for ten straight years, and freakin aweful in preseason game number one, im saying that we cant judge off of preseason games. You never know. Lions went 4-0 in preseason, went 0-16 in the real season. our four straigh superbowl years we were aweful in preseason.
  14. Thank you, at least someone else has a brain on this site.
  15. I hear what ur saying, but it just pisses me off how everyone writes us off already. Believe me, i know we looked freakin terrible against washington. But come on now, the dolphins go 1-15 one season, and the next season they win the divsion. The dolphins were absolutely terrible the year they went 1-15. And i know we looked absolutely terrible in the first preseason game. But the last i checked, the preseason doesnt mean anything. All the years we made the superbowl we were always going 0-4 or 1-3 in the preseason. The lions went 4-0 in the preseason the year they went 0-16. These analysts and fans automatically assume that if ur bad one year, the next year ur guna be bad again, and vice versa. Two years ago the browns went 10-6 and barely missed the playoffs. All the analysts were saying how they were a lock to get the wildcard the next year. And the next year they didnt even come closel. You cant keep judging teams from what they did the previous year. Again, i know we looked aweful the other nite, but even jim kelly never played good in the preseason. We dont gameplan for preseason games. Once week one starts and we start gameplanning, then we'll see what we really look like.
  16. I was just watching sportscenter before the monday night football pregame show started and mike ditka, keyshawn johnson, cris carter, and tom jackson just completely mocked the bills. They were talking about how the giants are in a much tougher division than the jets are. I dont remember the exact words so im going from what i remember... Ditka goes "the giants have to face the redskins, eagles, and cowboys and all the jets have to deal with is the patriots and maybe the dolphins, and then ditka goes "forget about buffalo, they never win in buffalo" and someone else said "yeah they dont have to ever worry about the bills." And the whole crew just started dying, laughing hysterical saying "hah the bills, hah." I wanted to jump threw the screen and beat them all. I hope to god we shock the world and then ill send in a nice letter to that crew and then see what they have to say.
  17. Thanks man, i thought i was the only bills fan in the world who still had hope. I think we will be fine, chan knows what hes doing. Even if freddy and or marshawn miss the opener or even more than one game, we have some running backs on the roster that look very sharp and can carry the load until they get back. We will be fine and i still see a 10-6 record. playofffffffs.
  18. Jerry Sullivan has no reason to cover the bills. He enjoys nothing better than bashing the bills, he is clearly one hundred percent not a true bills fan nor a billiever.
  19. yeah i agree with you dude. my 12-4 prediction is a little doubtful but if we can take advantage of all our strengths, i think we can definitely reach double digit wins. 9-7 is probably a lot more realistic but im hopin and prayin for best case scenario...i just dont get how some people can say were going to go 3 and 13...come on now...if ur not a bills fan get off the site..i understand some of you are just being honest on how you feel..but if ur a true bills fan u wouldnt think were guna win less than 5 games. We have a lot of talent on this team and i think we have a good shot at shocking a lot of people. Theres no way we win less than 6 games.
  20. Alright, six days away till training camp!!! Cant freakin wait......So whats everyones prediction on the season?? Here's mine...Might seem a bit out of reach, but im a BILLIEVERRRRR..... 12-4 with losses coming against new england once, jets once, minnesota, and baltimore...I honestly can see us beating everyone else. I know at 12-4 a lot of you are laughing in my face but i really think its very possible for us to shock the world. Sep. 12..........Miami Sep. 19.........@Green Bay Sep. 26..........@New England Oct. 3.............NY Jets Oct. 10............Jacksonville BYE Oct. 24............@Baltimore Oct. 31............@Kansis City Nov. 7.............Chicago (Toronto) Nov. 14............Detroit Nov. 21............@Cincinnati Nov. 28............Pittsburgh Dec. 5..............@Minnesota Dec. 12.............Cleveland Dec. 19.............@miami Dec. 26.............New England Jan. 2...............@NY Jets
  21. Just wondering your opinion on this one.....If schobel does decide to come back and play. on buffalobills.com they said that he would be playing linebacker. I dont get why he wouldnt stay at D end, and have poz, mitchell, maybin, and andra davis be the linebackers. And then we'd also have antonio coleman (if he makes the team) and nic harris too.
  22. I hear ya one hundred percent dude. I agree with you with the Nate Clements decision, At the time i was pissed, thinking why the hell wouldnt we resign him. But like you said, it turned out to be the right move because i think after watching his last few seasons, he is very overated. As for london fletcher and pat williams. Fletcher has been in the top five leading tacklers category in the past ten years, so i was pretty mad that we let him go too. But as i reflect on him, he never had any interceptions or never was a huge game changer playmaker. He was just a tackling machine. So just like clememts, it turned out the right move by not resigning them. With poz coming on strong and hopefully maybin too, as well as kawika, andra davis and antonio coleman out of auburn (if he makes the roster) i think linebacker will be a very good and deep position on our roster. And as for winfield, he is the same as fletcher...all he did was tackle tackle tackle, never had any interceptions or never was a game changing corner. And to go with your last statement about being positive...dude ive never been more positive about a season then this one coming up. I mean last year i was so positive i thought for sure wed prove everyone wrong. But with the new staff, i think we are going to shock the league and all these bills haters. One week dude and training camp is here, billieve man. Time to BILLIEVE
