  1. Interesting to read all the pro and amateur takes on the outcome…most of the logic in these tends to be very discrete factors…injuries, matchups etc…

I tend to think the primary factor is the Bills have been fighting for their lives for 6 weeks and are pretty acclimated to this. Chiefs really haven’t played a meaningful game for a long while till last week…and Miami was never gonna win that anyway.

Kincaid is going to be a good one, Shakir has developed into a solid 4th option…. Cook is still shaky to me. He’s explosive but he also drops some easy balls and seems to have a fumbling issue….also doesn’t seem like a very smart player and at the end of the day he is just a RB…. Their gigantic ***** up(for the 2nd year in a row) is relying on Davis as their number two WR….amazingly Josh and the offense perform better with him out of the line up….that’s how bad it’s gotten with Davis. I’d trade Harty, Sherfield, and Rapp for Hopkins in a hot second and as @HappyDays has stated many times Beane royally ***** up in not signing him…. I do agree they are better off then last year without question and hopefully they find a way regardless of the lack of a true #2 WR!

Why is it the only people who discount Cook all the time are….posters in this forum?  Dude has completed the offense….and yet….people got make themselves feel smart by discounting him…..smh.

I wish he would have appreciated us enough to help with the shuttle busses back to McKinley Mall.  Total crap show, drivers didn't know where pickup was after the game.  We were told to go to Gate 2, which was wrong, then sent between Gates 4 and 5.  Nobody knew of the shuttles over there, so people were stranded.  I ended up walking the 50 minutes with my son in less than ideal conditions.  I'm not sure how the shuttles could have been run any poorer than they were.  Not a good look for a billion dollar franchise.

Back in my day we weren’t so whiny

Allen with the blatant fake slide on the long run, then later draws a 15 yard penalty on a late hit on slide where the defender didn't hit his head.....but can you blame him for going for the tackle based on the fake earlier?

The slide is a play intended to protect the QB, not to do what Allen did.  That was garbage.

Get used to it… JA got the refs in his pocket now and the NFL is rigged for the Bills this year!

People kept saying this but then I read the Steelers forum and they say he has a strong arm and they have no concern with him being able to move the ball in the wind. I have no idea what to believe. I have watched so little of him.

So the Steelers fans have….confidence …..in their team as opposed to the raft of chicken littles here?

There is no reason to be in Nickel base defence in this game. Against Mason Rudolph in the wind and snow they will not be passing the ball. They are going to run and run over and over. I feel like it will take McD having a couple TD’s scored against him to get out of Nickel and hope it’s not too late when points will be at a premium. It’s the only way Pit can win.

Go heavy and stop the run for the win. Also absolutely no need for Von Miller out there. Use Shaq and Kingsley and secure the edges go big.

Send your resume over to OBD stat!

I think McDermott's point was you just launch that out of the back of the endzone and take the three.  Had they scored and everything else played out the same that final dolphins drive would have been different and the tension would have been gone

Josh a dawg…..don’t put a bone in front of him and expect him not to take it….

We're 0-4 in road playoff games.

Of the four playoff games we've won, three are Wild-Card games, all four home games.

Of those three games, two were against marginal playoff teams to begin with, all three at home.  10-7 New England with Mac Jones, Damien Harris, and Jakobi Meyers as their three top skill-position players, and 9-8 Miami with Skylar Thompson playing QB and JAG Jeff Wilson as a RB.  The other was against Indy, which outplayed us here at home with Rivers at QB and the rookie WR Pittman as their only decent WR.

Miami was the 7th Seed, New England the 6th Seed, and Indy also the 7th Seed.

The only solid playoff game we've played has been against Baltimore a week after that Indy game where we won 17-3, but where Baltimore, apart from Jackson and Andrews (TE) featured a bunch of mediocre all but JAG skill position players.

The Ravens were the 5th Seed.

To date we've never beaten a 1st thru 4th Seeded team.

We have our work cut out for us this playoffs.  We're all hoping for a Super Bowl run, but our playoff history is somewhat sordid.

Beating Pitt at home and the winner of the the KC/Miami game also at home are musts for this playoffs to be a success for us, at minimum.  Then if Baltimore gets upset, so would be a home game AFC CG win.

Meh....have fun hiding in your closet. Bills at the final table and have the second biggest pile of chips. Maybe they get all the cards for the next 4 hands and win easily...maybe they don't. You assemble a team and play the season to put as many odds as you can in your favor...

I'm not trying to be inflammatory here. This is a genuine question.

Torrence has been the clear weak link on the Bills offense in recent weeks. He's getting beat inside off the snap at a frighteningly high rate. He's making mental mistakes that allow free rushers up the middle.

It's no blight on him as a draft pick if we bench him. It's known that OL players in particular take time to develop, and with his body type it would not be a surprise at all if he's hit the rookie wall playing 100% of the snaps this season. And there's still 4 (hopefully) games to go...

I just don't know if we can live with Torrence's mistakes in a playoff run that looks like it will be a true gauntlet. We have steady vets in David Edwards and Ryan Bates waiting in the wings. I think the coaching staff should seriously consider making a change now before it's too late.

Got any specifics …or just a lot of words? Benched for who?
