I saw James Hansen is making the rounds again, he who is 1988 made predictions about some of the NYC roads being under water by the year 2000. His defenders are hilarious since all of the real changes he predicted are clearly wrong they fight for the statement that CO2 has gone up, but without any consequences. Truly it is 35 years since his initial warning, everything he warned about as far as CO2 and pollution has happened and none of the bad things have happened.

    Ummm...no.

I hate to break this to Quack, but we are well past the point of no return here. Burn it down is the only way forward.

Burn it down? I thought you types thought America was the greatest?

Burn it down? To what end? To what result? To what end game?

    Is ignorance bliss?

Cause DOBBS was fought to the supreme court, by a DEM PAC.  At a 15 week limit.

SCOTUS conservatives got their majority and immediately did what they were sent there to do. Any case would do …They took a simple case on a 15 week limit and completely overturned Roe. Trying to pin it on Dems just shows how stupid and shallow your thinking is. Your an idiot.

I get really tired of fools making foolish claims.

I never claimed Johnson was "a man of the Bible."

    Can you provide this?

Judaism, as practiced during the time of Jesus had been corrupted.

There are countless examples of this in the New Testament as Jesus' ministry evolves and especially in His confrontations with the Pharisees, eventually causing them to insist that the Romans kill him.

If you think the claim is "laughable." any literate individual can read the book and come to no other conclusion/

It’s laughable that you want to provide a Christians view of the corruption of the Jews 2000 years ago while present day American Christianity wraps their arms around the most corrupt dangerous false leader right now….not to mention the full on pedo that that Catholic Church was and hid for centuries…What don’t you lecture on something more timely and relevant

It "surprises" you becasue you are misinterpreting it.

The Old Testament is not being denied of diminished.

It is a historical story of the preparation of a people who were ultimately supposed to welcome  and introduce a Messiah who would reestablish man's relationship with God. Many rules were provided them to separate them from the rest of civilization.

They also invented a bunch of their own rules and traditions that were not given them.

Judaism as was being practiced during Christ's life had been adjusted and corrupted.

The best example of this is how they turned the Temple. (God's place on earth), into a commercial enterprise profit center. There are many others.

The arrival of Jesus was fulfillment of the "law," as he said, and he established a new covenant, as he stated.

There are scores of versus in the New Testament that proclaim this, and end many ceremonial and purity rules the Jews had established.

Ultimately, the Jewish leaders of the day denied his divinity and had him killed.

From the resurrection, a core of believers spread the Gospel establishing the "New Covenant."

Laughable how you state Judaism was corrupt during the time of Jesus….Now “Christians” like Johnson hold up Trump as their leader….WTF….and you respect Johnson as a “man of the Bible” when he does this…Do you have ANY self awareness?

    "Fix the Border"

Does MAGAworld actually know what that means - or do you just blab it?

If you want to "fix" the border you have pass legislation through both houses and have the POTUS sign a bill into law. GOP has had the gavel for 10 months already....Where is the bill they will send to the Senate for review so they can send it to their subcommittee - that will approve it and send to the floor for debate...so you know...they can pass a similar bills that will go through...you know resolution.

When MAGA world had both the house and the Senate 2017-2018 - How come they didn't pass anything?

I’m talking about when everyone compromises, the little guy tends to get screwed in favor of big corporate donors…

I don’t know who will come out on top for the Republican speaker, but it is nice to see some people standing up to the big donor politicians, to protect our borders, reign in spending, etc…

Its refreshing to see that there are still people who won’t just bend over to the elites…👍

Its laughable that you think the GOP is going to do what you suggest above. AFA as both "protecting our borders" and 'reighning in spending"  - neither of these will be substanively dealt with without legislation. This means a bipartison effort. The MAGA GOP has made it clear this will not happen.

So much for the little guy.

Big Corporate Donors? You can thank Scalia for scuttling  any control of that under the guise of "textulism" - The cruel joke is that the GOP got the "little guy" to buy in that this was good for him. Bravo

They only compromise to benefit their donors Imo, while the working class gets screwed…

Look what compromising on the immigration has done for inner city black and brown people of this country…it certainly hasn’t helped…

Look how compromising with their insurance donors has kept Medicare for all away from the people…

Not all compromises are positive for the citizens who don’t have power and money…👍

What are you even talking about?

In general I am more the optimistic type and don’t buy into the weekly nonsense doom and gloom that permeates the board.  But after today I am starting to change my mind on a few things:

    1.  Dorsey isn’t effective in his role.  I thought he was after the Fish game, but it is clear opposing defenses have figured some things out and he does not have answers.  My daughter knows more about football than most, and she said after the game that the league is dominated by innovation on offense, and we’re not getting that.  We have him, Shula, Brady all available and we can’t get anything going?

    2.  Josh is loved by all, but something is going on with him.  And it is not just him not running as much.  Whether it is football or non-football related I don’t know.  But I said to my wife today that he almost seemed disinterested during the game.  And I was shocked to think that.  The QB is a de facto team leader, and especially when a captain.  I pooh poohed  those the last few weeks saying he should not just sit by himself on the bench, but today I was struck by his attitude.   Wasn’t doing anything to get the team going.  Sadly, if I was asked right now whether Josh reminds me more of Kelly or Fergy, personality wise it would be Fergy.  And I’m not sure that personality in a QB can win a championship regardless if physical talent.  He needs to look inside himself and figure out his issues.

    3.  I have said many times that McD will not get fired.  But after today I have to begin wondering if he has taken this team as far as he can take them.  It is utterly inexcusable for a defense to give up a TD that last series against Mac Jones.  Even a FG would have been inexcusable.  When you absolutely have to get a stop to win, and the first play in the drive you give up 30+ yards is absurd, even given the personnel losses.  As HC and DC, you have to have ways to stop them, and you have to be able to motivate the team to step up.  Neither happened.  Larry Bird used to say you need to change coaches every 5 years because players have heard everything you can say by then.  Is McD at that point?  I’m not sure.

i sat at the Rockpile as a 4 year old at opening day 1960.  God knows I’ve seen a lot of bad days in 63 years.  But today was sad to me because the team just seemed lifeless, clueless, and without any passion.  Again, I  am a glass half-full type but today’s game was just sad.  Sad, sad, sad.    I think it is the harbinger of a missed playoff year this year.  This kind of loss can either gut a team or spur a team to wake up.  I don’t see any evidence they want to wake up.  Sometimes you have to take a step back to take two steps forward.  This season seems like it will be the step back.

Bravo! So Josh, the Head Coach, Defensive Coach, and Offensive Coach suck?

What does "not a number 2" even mean anymore?

Do you really mean he's not a number 1 playing the number 2 role like Jalen Waddle, Tee Higgins, Tyler Lockett or Devonta Smith?

What kind of production do you want out of your WR2? The vast majority of NFL teams would be thrilled to have a WR2 that puts up 800+ yards, 7 TD's & extends the field like Gabe does.

Even right now, he's ranked #27 in receiving yards (automatically putting him ahead of multiple #1's), tied for 4th place in TD's with 5 others (ahead of others like Jamar Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Travis Kelce, Mike Evans, and many other WR1's, TE's, and RB's), and is only 61st in receptions.

I'd say he's more than adequate as a WR2, with the only issue being he's not as big a threat in the short-intermediate game as we'd like.

This board wants to hate this team. It’s where this country is now….just wanna hate everything.

Here at TSW the debate over McD and Allen and who is responsible for the Bills success is always a hot topic.

There are those who hold McD in mythical regard as he resurrected a 2-14 franchise and is the saviour.  Yes hyperbole (never were they 2-14), because I have pointed out many times that Buffalo was seldom really bad during the 19 year drought, just never good enough.

I know I will hear just what bad shape the Bills were in due to salary cap and other issues when Rex left, but they were too a team vying for the playoffs his last year too.

Is McD a good coach, I think he is.  Is he great, I don't think so and thus I am one to say his success is basically due to having Josh Allen as the QB.

I have also blamed McD for holding Allen back and we still have not seen what he is fully capable of.

This is the divide on TSW....  The chicken or the egg so to speak.  Some think the Bills success is a 50/50 split, some may give McD more credit for the Bills and others say it is 80% due to Josh.

Now that brings me to the next part of the thread and we have been through all these highly drafted QB's and when a team hits the jackpot with one, they better cash in or else.

It then occurred to me that all the busts (or those that didn't live up to the hype) never really blossomed on another team.  Yes some back-ups and fringe starting QB's have done well with a change of scenery and better coaches, but has ever a top pick (ie. first 15) flamed out and then became a star elsewhere?

Jared Goff maybe the closest and is the perfect example of what having a great OC means to a QB.

    Anyone else?

Allen held back? You literally have no idea what you are talking about. None.
