I was gonna say exactly that. The few times Allen had time last week he lit it up. The colts and cowboys are examples we should follow as far as drafting and developing the OL
I get annoyed when people blame Daboll when Allen is getting harassed behind the LOS almost every play. Coaching can always be questioned but the players gotta perform
Almost everyone loves what we have in OP. Why change that? I don’t think it’s small thinking. I think it’s logical. On a side note, I have friends on Sheldon Road that get $$ for parking. It’s cheap compared to the stadium lots and you have a great time. Those folks get to keep getting that extra income instead of immensely wealthy downtown developers.
Everything is so expensive now and wages are higher. Lucas Oil Stadium was a bargain by today’s standards. That cost them <$1 Billion. That would cost 2.5-3 now. Inflation is out of control. All the more reason to get the deal done immediately and build. Dome or not.
The Sabres are trash and it didn’t matter, but at least the NHL had the fortitude to acknowledge the mistake on Dahlin’s disallowed goal within 24 hours. NFL is too big for it’s britches
Agreed. People are acting like we got blown out. If a team runs 40+ times against you with a good o-line, I think you can expect yards to get put up. Was it embarrassing to Sullivan that they allowed a couple receptions too?
I’m of the opinion the lack of a run game is because our O line has regressed. Moss has been a huge disappointment. Singletary is pretty good but he has to work on fumbling. If Beane doesn’t address the OL early in the draft it will be the same story. Spencer Brown seems like a great pick up for the 3rd round. We need to keep investing in the line.
I didn’t see any sleepwalking in the game. I saw defenders taking poor angles and not tackling well, poor O line play, Knox making mistakes, and coaching decisions. But I did not question their effort at any point in the game.
Or maybe Frazier has learned from the Minnesota gig and working under McDermott that he can hire an OC he trusts to develop Fields while he concentrates on the D and in game coaching.
If it’s that bad why are we consistently winning since McD and then Beane took over? My opinion is that they are not bad but pretty darn good actually. Every team misses on players.
No way this years team beats the Colts and/or Ravens in last year’s playoffs. Everyone knows we can’t run and defenses only need 7 up front to shut us down. It’s disheartening.
