  1. i believe ya, with that said - i wonder if nevergiveup has any additional info on how the evening conversation went - any extra info on maybe what was talked about
  2. QUOTE (Gibran Chandan @ Mar 28 2010, 06:45 PM): Yeah....no. QUOTE Celtic_soulja replied: what you meant to say was "yeah, you're right, you're a football genius... " my response: Yeah....no.
  3. your entire thought process on this is . . . well . . wrong - in fact it is a bit socialist if he is retired than there is no conflict of interest - period and you clearly have a decided dislike for pereira - which influences your thought process the comparison would be a retired military guy working for a government contractor - no slippery slope - this is still the usa where people are free to use their talents/knowledge/creative spirit to engage in commerce bottom line is many people use their unique skills, life experiences and talents as contractors - with either a direct content input or training/training development as the end product - the fact is we need those people - whether you know it or not
  4. trade . . . trade . . . trade (?) - no . . . no . . . hell no!
  5. that peters is overrated and not worth the money or time invested in him by phily - i'm so happy that guy is gone
  6. that's not gonna happen
  7. well actually the bolded part of your post is not totally correct - he is the best ss we have against the run - he really is - perhaps in an obvious passing situation it would not be surprising to see wilson in for him especially in this new defense scheme we will have - but then again i would not be surprised to see scott in for donte in that situation as well - i do believe that both wilson and scott are better against the pass than donte
  8. well here's some more salt for you - he did not want to be here (his words - everyone knows this) - he wasn't going to sign becasue he did not want to be here (his words - everyone knows this) - give it up - the bills have holes to fill not because they let him go but because he did not want to be here (his words - everyone know this) - internalize it - you and your monkey will feel better for it
  9. funny - i don't remember it being a request for a prayer to a christian god - it was simply a prayer request - one could pray to whatever deity they believe in - for for those who don't believe then they could just not partake in the event and i am sure that tebow was praying for the right reasons (for himself) - as for your reply - the reasons are very evident
  10. no - the reason he got that response is when you get enough people together someone will act the fool - and then there will be others thinking that poor behavior is acceptable so they laugh or think its funny or whatever and thereby become fools themselves - it is simply a matter of respect for others - our society as a whole has lost that concept - and it continues to drop at any alarming rate
  11. that's not awesome - it is stupid and shameful - the lack of respect for diversity is disgusting it was probably one of the people that tebow torched in a winning effort btw i am not a religious person by nature - nor am i a tebow mania guy and futhermore some of the most respected buffalo bill players were religious people: don bebee, frank reich, etc . . . - never heard of any proglem with them being religious
  12. agreed - puberty must be really hitting him hard
  13. Here's the schedule: Home W - New York Jets W - Miami Dolphins W - New England Patriots ? - Jacksonville Jaguars: if in nov/dec a W - if in sep/oct an l W - Cleveland Browns L - Pittsburgh Steelers W - Chicago Bears W - Detroit Lions Away L - New York Jets L - Miami Dolphins L - New England Patriots W - Kansas City Chiefs L - Cincinnati Bengals L - Minnesota Vikings L - Baltimore Ravens W - Green Bay Packers 8-8 or 9-7 (depending on what month the jax game is scheduled) - an improvement but no playoffs this year - and i really hope i am wrong and we win 11 or more and go to the playoffs
  14. oh btw it was a nice post wiz - a lot of work - i like the creative thought process of applying that statistical program to the nfl draft
  15. wiz and bob: good points by both of you - i understand what you both are saying let me put my half of a cent in (not worth two) - bob said that the draft is a crap shoot and that is a true statement - we have seen it time after time in the draft over the years - but bob did not mention why it is a crap shoot - here my reason why: it is not quantitative in nature - it is qualitative in nature and i'll explain - it all depends on who (the pick) the gm and hc think will be in the best interest of their team as each pick unfolds - that change triggers a response (sometimes emotional or reactionary) by human beings who react to the event at hand - ergo resulting in it's unpredictable nature - or simply reducing it to a crap shoot still it's fun to try and guess isn't it
  16. Q: Has Buffalo ever had a more overrated RB than Marshawn Lynch? A: at #1 rb omg he is overrated - at #2 rb he's better than most by a lot
  17. correct lori - and how many would kill to have a qb like fergy right now - i also do not subscribe to joey d's remarks
  18. actually is says a ton - and none of it good - he is one bad choice from being suspended for a year at a minimum - i love his toughness and running ability - but it won't do us any good if he is out of the league for a season - if it were my decision i would trade him now and get as much as possible for him and plan to draft a running back - i simply do not trust his decision making ability to keep himself out of trouble
  19. also could have been just an inane typo - instead of "ala" perhaps what was meant was "aka"
  20. it ended with me on my knees - crying like a little girl - and btw i was a member of the central america joint intelligence team/counternarcotics joint intelligence center at the penatogon and some of the guys who were with me in the jungles and saw me in life-and-death situations were there with me and my family watching the game - and i still cried like a little girl
  21. very good st player - would have been happier with wendling though if st is the main focus
  22. bmh - you may be right - but perhaps if they do bring in a veteran they are comfortable with at qb - just maybe they will concentrate the entire draft to olt, dt/nt, olb, & wr. i say this knowing we need a future qb badly - one that will be our guy for 6-8 years or so and he is not it. but we have soooooo many holes to fill - i am afraid that no matter how good gm nix and coach gailey are that it will take more than just this year to get us where we need to be.
  23. too painful for me to watch - even now
  24. lovely, a recreational pleasure cop - he is at a legal weapons range with a legally registered weapon - really get a life - and see your doctor about that pain thing - maybe he can up the voltage
