Bills -5.5 at home seems like a rat line…should be at least -7.5
Inconceivable. Other than. “Division game”
“2nd meeting”
usually the answer lies in Dvoa. Let me deep dive
edit :
dvoa
overall buf tied for 4th w kc (never seen a tie) vs Mia 29
off buf is 2nd (1st bal) vs Mia 29
Def buf is 7th vs Mia 21
line makes no sense. Altho Mia offense # is off bc tua been out for so long

The amount of motions I’ve seen teams use, specifically those who have/had Tyreek Hill is insane. Not once have I seen Hill ever stop for a full second before the snap.
Same with Kupp that SB year for Rams. He was always motioned into the slot or under the stack and never set for a full second.
wtf is this guy on about lol
Same. I know the made …. Wait for it….. a POINT OF EMPHASIS on the motions where the guys were running forward at the snap of the ball. The STOP and wait a full second has never been a thing. U til now

Love the on tv ref “by rule” like that’s it. Indefensible.

Bad look for nfl when star WR hand is pulled back preventing him from catching a pass. And there’s no flag w the ref just staring like a deer in headlights

Groot wins on the left side. Solomon has shown some ability to win quickly. Ed wins vs. single coverage. And yes, Von.
Bet we dial up better blitzes when Milano comes back.
The key to pass rush under McD has always been about having waves of fresh bodies. We haven't had that yet this year.
Sorry don’t see immediate wins / gotta have it get to the QB rushes - with anyone but Von

Achane is pretty much the only consistent performer on that offense. As far as their defense, I've said all along, their defense has always been substandard at best. Achane and Mostert will get some yards, but I think Cook and Davis will get more
If Seiler and holland out - should be a cake walk

The backup is the only guy to start every game. He needs to develop more but his traits will be needed to win in January.
Yes well the coaches take him off the field for one of the UB backups DBs for passing 3rd downs. So not developing there

Other than CB, the last thing I'm worried about with our D is our pass rush. We have good pass rushers, just need them to all play.
Our size defending bigger teams is another story.
Only
one that WINS immediately
is Von. And it’s usually
against a relatively immobile QB. Otherwise they need really
good coverage and time for the rush to grind its way there.
only time we blitz is -
these horrible delayed zone blitzes with safeties (cam or Hamlin) that are just awful. And they drop

No linebaker is a 100% tackle percent. Games without Benard I see him out of position more. Williams has been the constant at linebaker all year. No Milano, no Benard. Williams overall play has been a positive not a negative to the defense. Better than Dodson last season imo.
The only
reason he’s a constant - is because he’s a backup. And the starting linebackers are injured

He does much better with Benard setting the table for him. Big motions and ball fakes move him. Mind you this affects all linebakers to some degree. More playing time will help with that. See ball get ball big he is very good. Doen’t miss too many tackles.
He absolutely missed tackles. He’s not
great in open field and gets beat with speed to the outside

if you can say the Bills haven't beat anyone you can say the Lions haven't either. The Vikings are playing over their weight and won't finish as strong as they started. Dallas is just Dallas.
The Lions are probably the best team in football but this weekend is the most important game of their season thus far.
A lot Of dome games too. Goff is absurdly worse in outdoor / bad weather games

These players were OUT for Miami against Arizona:
Kader Kohou, DB
Storm Duck, DB
Zach Sieler, DT
Bradley Chubb is still on the PUP and Jalen Phillips is out for the season with a torn ACL. Braxton Barrios is also on the IR
Jevon Holland sustained a knee injury against Arizona. McDaniel said he hasn’t been ruled out yet, but is week-to-week.
Kohou, Phillips, Sieler and Holland are technically all starters who have played significant snaps for Miami, including during our Week 2 matchup.
If Sieler (he’s their Sneakily best defender.) and holland out. Bills O gonna roll. Literally.

Za'Darius Smith would be a good add for us. I could see him even playing inside on 3rd downs
Clowney, I'm open to that as well due to his run stopping ability.
However....Beane may not view Edge as a need.
Von's pressure rate was elite prior to suspension
Geez almost caught his own deflection

I loved the signing, dude can ball and be placed anywhere on the field, let him heal up, think we'll see a different result
I thought the same thing. But with each. Passing day I’m getting more and more Jamison crowder vibes

Can we now conclusively say that the problem the Jets have is Aaron Rodgers?
Yea. Just not a team. I still. DO not understand why Devante wanted to go there

That was DPI. This whole tangled legs stuff makes sense when shadowing a route… but the safety initiated all of the contact with the WR
He two hand touched / pressed on his back . Early. Yes his legs were tangled. But that wasn’t all. What a cop out

yea the watson contract is an all timer and much worse.
Yea BUT Watson gave no evidence he’d be this bad. He was an almost mvp in Houston . It’s hindsight that’s it’s the worst. And it is
But you KNEW what you were getting w Dak

I thought I thought I thought for sure. Jerry was gonna let this season ride. Let McCarthy play it out. NOT extend Dak. NOT extend ceedee. Bc you know. They’ve had 2-3 years and it’s clearly not good enough. But he f’d it up. Listened to the fan boys and signed mediocre / qb purgatory Dak. And WR12-20 in the nfl as wr 1-2
the shrewd and right move was to clean house. Of all 3. Let’s the jags and panthers sign them . Get comp picks and have a bad season. And get qb. Nope. PURGATORY FOR YOU DAL/ JERRY!!!

Amazing. I said the same thing about him for weeks. He’s a backup. He’s grading out as a backup. He’s had flashes. And is at least playable out on the field for long stretches. So he’s a bit better than last year.
He was billed as long arms / good tackler and has speed. But he sure doesn’t make the open field tackles or stay w long crossers or get out to make open field tackles in space….
then I thought - maybe they could use him as a qb spy. Nope.
hes only flashed while shooting gaps in the run game
