  1. same. I'm not sure I'd feel safe with him as #1. Might be better trading back, getting a different QB and a bunch of surrounding talent.
  2. same. too much talking.
  3. why does this take so long? commercials? Burrow even looks like, "when am I getting the call"
  4. no, i haven't started drinking yet I'd take him over Shenault. I'd rather get a stud RB there in Rd. 2 and Edwards in Rd. 3, but that wasn't what was in Astro's "other" picks. And we do need a LB. so I upgraded Shaq to Harrison.
  5. This totally sucks for him. Not only do you have COVID-19, but you miss the biggest work even of the year, the thing that he literally works almost all year for. I hope he gets well quickly!
  6. I like it, but I'd take Edwards in Rd. 3, and Harrison in Rd. 2. This also means you can skip Quarterman for Muse or Gibson, either of whom project as better pro players, IMO. (I'd take Muse).
  7. WOW. That is awesome. Perfect. And now that I saw Goddell's, Goddell should have copied that!
  8. underwhelming mancave, IMO. Hope those tv's are at least OLED's given how much $$ he makes! that said, I thought the plugs for the NFL sponsors Microsoft Surface and Bose Headsets were kind of funny.
  9. This happens almost every year. Someone that most people have a day 2 or 3 grade on them ends up getting picked in Round 1. So, who is your surprise round 1 pick (or two). It should be someone that you haven't seen on any published drafts (or only a few) that gets drafted in Round 1. For me, I'd go with Tyler Johnson, Minnesota. I could see a team like NO, Balt, Tenn, or KC pairing him with their other stud WR(s) to create mismatches. This guy gets open and is a redzone/TD magnet in a conference (Big 10) with a lot of good CB play. If not Johnson, then WR Edwards from South Carolina. A seemingly do-it-all WR who would be a consensus 1st round pick if not for injuries, IMO.
  10. I knew I was forgetting someone! Thanks. Fixed that now.
  11. Really, thanks to @Virgil and @BuffaloHokie13 and @whatdrought This is a fantastic pre-draft event for the TBD community. Also helps us learn more about prospects and other teams. I love it.
  12. Packers end up with: Round 1: Mims, WR, Baylor: Gives the Packers a fast, electric play-maker to pair with Funchess and Adams. Will greatly help the Pack put more pressure on a defense. Round 2: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech: The Packers need help on the run D. I'd go DL, but this was too good to pass up, esp. with them having a gaping hole at LB with Martinez's departure. Round 3: Ben Bartch, OT, St. Johns. The Pack lost Begula, need a replacement. Rodgers is getting older, and Pack must protect him. Round 4: Wanted Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota. Who I believe would be an instant impact WR working with Rodgers due to his outstanding route running. But he was taken. Most of the CB's I wanted were taken. Looked at DL, but figured those guys would be around next round as well (liked about 3 of them). None of the remaining TEs' looked to have an instant impact ability, and I think Sternberger, who was injured last year, could contribute this year. Went back to improving the OL, and was happy to see that Jake Driscoll, OT, Auburn is available. Took him. Think he can be a great starter for a long time. as a Bills fan, I hate this draft. It's good. I think Fromm will be good, esp. in NE.
  13. was thinking about TE and CB, but figured OL needs more help. The guy they drafted last year at TE has ability, but got injured. What TE were you thinking?
  14. With the 136 pick, the Packers select Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn. @aristocrat and the Jaguars are on the clock.
  15. this is an awesome idea. if I were in Rochester I’d be there. And I agree plates are a national treasure!
  16. I like Draft network also, but it could just be me, they seem to over harp the negatives of every player in the final analysis. Just an FYI. nfl.com also has a decent prospect writeup. and SI has a decent draft guide of the top 400 prospects I think.
  17. are you certain there are no draft eligible Edwards available?
  18. Not anyone who I have on my radar, but I still like it. Really, Bean could draft all punters at this point and I'd be like: "I'm sure he has a plan."
  19. Agree with this, and some of the issue is the play calling, IMO, esp. in regards to Knox and Singletary's/Yeldon's usage.
  20. I'd do 54 and a 5th for them both, but not all the picks. I have 54th for Yannick, and 5th for Fournette. Perhaps even throw in a 6th if needed.
  21. really wanted Crosby last year. Hopefully we get Highsmith. Tyler Johnson, WR, Minn. 13 TD's last year, great route runner. Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
  22. the worst is when the auto-drafters WIN. fantasy baseball is fun, haven't played in a few years, but yeah, the lack of a deep rotation can kill you. And Yelich in the 8th was a steal.
