  1. I figured we could put all the pundit mock drafts that we hate here to express our collective outrage :)

I'll start.  This one from Lance Zierlein just dropped.  It may be the worst I've seen so far.  Trading up for...well...wait till you see it.  I saw a trade up, got excited, then, vomit.  Additional vomiting caused by who the Bengals and Chiefs added compared to who we added.  There are so many other players available for the Bills who will be more impactful at CB/S, DT, and even WR that were passed up here.

  2. guy is a bit overrated and basically cost us the KC game by getting blown up at a key point, that said he would create a hole u less we got a 1st round pick for hi. to use on a day 1 starter.  Since that won’t happen, I’d keep him without extending and draft a possible replacement.

Two things at work… one someone in the Bills draft room really wants a guy who might not be there at 28 and they have the ammo to go get them and I believe that player is Adoni Mitchell.

Second this is a very very deep oline class so if they want to add a couple guys in the middle rounds it’s very easy to do with 11 draft picks.

what makes you think Mitchell?  Just curious.

I’ll guess Xavier Legette based on Special Teams background, work ethic and physical freak traits

or Brian Thomas Jr if we’re willing to trade up enough

would love Thomas Jr.  Don’t know enough about Mitchell. Leggett seems risky to me?

  4. really strange. We now need to draft a center.  Morse stayed healthy last year but we need a backup, and also Morse is likely a year or two likely away from retirement (or unfortunately a bad hit away).

Think many people are in the I’d like a receiver but feel they’ll take a DLineman camp, myself included.

And honestly, if they feel they can’t bring in some adequate talent via FA then the draft has got to be the solution. If either the Texas boys or Fiske are the choice then I can’t be mad. Same goes with Latu, Turner, Robinson. If that’s who they go with then so be it and let’s hope for the best.

If Turner or Latu fall that far down the board, which I don’t expect, then I think we’ve found a possible solution to the pass rush.

Maybe they resign AJE and Jones? Do they go WR even if the top 5 guys (MHJ, Odunze, Nabers, Thomas Jr., Coleman) are gone???

    🤔

Agree with most of this.  But Chop Robinson would be an absoultley horrid pick.  He can't rush the passer or play against the run.  Most of the Edge writeups have lower rush grades and decent run grades.  I'd go for that type of player later in the draft and look more at solid DTs early on.

    28. Buffalo Bills: Chop Robinson, DE, Penn State©Dan Rainville / USA Today Sports Images

An edge rusher is high on Buffalo's wish list with the potential departures of Leonard Floyd and A.J. Epenesa. Robinson fits the mold as long, projectable edge rusher.

    DE's before 18:

    8. Atlanta Falcons: Dallas Turner, DE, Alabama

    11. Minnesota Vikings: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

    15. Indianapolis Colts: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

    5 WR taken before 28:

    4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

    6. New York Giants: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

    14. New Orleans Saints: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

    17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

    26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

He will be Maybin 2.0.  Athletic traits and no production.

  7. I like this one.  Thomas in Rd. 1.  Persall in Rd. 3.  Don't really know anything about Taylor, but he is a highly rated DT, so I took him in Rd. 2.  Anyone have insight?

I like the Harper/Smith, Taylor safety trio (perhaps 1 too many Ss drafted).

I think this draft does a lot to help the WR, DT, and S issues, and provides depth at OL and LB.

and Henry... I would LOVE to have the big man pounding the rock when we need the tough yards or need to ice the game

another thing here, having Henry in those situations stops Josh from having to be the guy taking that pounding, which is something the FO wants.  Let him be free on passing downs to take a lane if there, but no need on short yards of under 5.  We could pound Henry.

  9. it's almost like the drafting and signing strategies are not fully aligned with the play calling.  Signing Knox then getting Kincade, ok, 2 TE sets.  Never really happened.  Drafting Elam who is a press corner.  Also odd.  Hopefully the coaches will play to the talent this year, we seem to have a lot of it, but need to rev it up a bit.  We could come out in a game with 2 TE, then move away from it, go back to it, etc.  Really a lot of weapons, and hopefully another 1-2 with WRs in the draft.

  10. no clue how to feel about this draft.  People who know more about these players please chime in.  The CB from Toledo was there, so I took him based off his ranking.  No clue if he can contribute right away.   I think Polk in the 2nd can be a #1 WR.  Then it went D heavy just because of BPA.  I think Cephaus may be a steal that late at slot WR, not sure.  Have never seen Leary play but the wright up made him seem like a potential capable backup QB.  Thoughts??

Bills-Chiefs is my only recent point of reference for attending a game at Highmark, but is the stadium always so toxic these days or was that just a Chiefs specific thing? The widespread behavior I witnessed (not isolated) was abhorrent and embarrassing. I understand there's a non alcohol section in the 200s level, which is actually a great idea, but I wouldn't be caught dead bringing a kid to the lower level or 300s if that's how it is all the time.

Gives me a different perspective on videos like this, because there's too many people who take being a fan way too far.

I’ve brought kids to lower levels for a regular season 1pm game and it was fine.

He’s an average pass rusher and that’s primarily how edges are judged, not on their ability to hold the point of the attack and play the run. He's still got time to figure it out in that department, but you don’t extend those guys to substantial contracts.

agree with this.  he is a slightly better Shaq Lawson at this point.  I still see potential for better play.  Will be interesting to see what new DL coach can do.

If Josh's fumble is recovered by Kansas City he doesn't even get the throw to Shakir. If Kansas City doesn't fumble in our end zone that drive doesn't matter. If Toney isn't Offside we don't make the playoffs. It's funny how these what if's only seem to work in our favor.

we are also the only team with injuries.

  14. From PFN.  Like this draft.  it solves some issues with the departure of Hyde and upgrades the Defensive Interior.  Not happy having to wait until Rd. 4 for a WR, but Baker looks like he could play next year.  All the top WRs were gone by 28, and Sweat and Smith were much better than the WRs available in those rounds.  It looks like a bunch of "contributors" on offense but perhaps no stars unless Baker busts out.  Potential stars all on D.  Would rather it be the other way but with no trading up was stuck.
