id rather build through the draft man, i mean i dont even want to give up a 6 or 7 once we get a new gm i want him to build through the draft i want one of those top 3 qbs to build around, we havent had a franchise qb since kelly...........

draft ryan mallett then the team is in no spot to give any picks up draft ryan mallett or sam bradford, whoever is there and then build around the qb

pennington is a fa and losman cant read defenses. bring in pennington michael vick, i want vick and draft a qb in rd 3 to groom.

ot de dt qb lb wr are these teams needs.... with the right gm and building through the draft, trading down acquiring more picks etc and this team can make a playoff run with the right qb in 2 years.... we are not the lions but we are bad, qb would obviously help most bring in michael vick along with drafting someone in the 2 or 3rd rd to groom. with the rest of our picks help the trenches

just get a quality gm in here and things can turn around its not that hard, christ miami was 1-15.......

there was multiple gms wanting the lions job. mayhew impressed ownership just before the offseason with the roy williams trade that landed them 3 picks so they decided to go with him.

im actually excited about this offseason because we have a chance to really build from new and hire a real gm

first off put down the bottle and try not to kill yourself, secondly the bills are going nowhere. the fan base wont allow it. thirdly if the lions got a new gm, we can too. i live in detroit and the lions have been at the bottom for 40 years. so relax. the team simply needs a competent gm, there tons to choose from. most people that are in the business of being a talent evaluator want to start from scratch.... if the 1 -15 dolphins can get bill parcells, im sure we can get someone that is competent to run this thing.

ur wrong maybin has shown flashes as a pass rusher..... few and far between but that sack against the lions was electric..
