  1. He'll go in the third or fourth round. Gone by Bills pick in 5th for sure so they will have to consider that if they like him. I think he's a classic pocket passer that can make throws with anticipation. Takes too many chances and the obvious off field concerns. But I usu trust Mayock and he calls CK a 2nd round talent minus the baggage. Watching Ole Miss games 8 saw a lot I like as far as making throws before WRs came out of their break and did well vs teams with superior talent. I'd take a 3rd or certainly 4th round flyer on the guy.

I saw him 3 times & each time he looked like an NFL QB. Forget abourt the so called bvaggage. He is barely out of his teens & will mature once he leaves the frat parties etc.. Been there as have many of us.

  2. What about Geno? We all make fun of Geno because of his record, his getting punched in the face over a debt, and his zillion int's against Bflo 2 years ago. However, he was a very good college QB. He was thrown into the fray way too early by the Jets. I think that he might play well in an offense designed for a mobile QB like TT. Or, is he just a bum?

If thats what OBD wants, they could keep or get rid of Tyrod (doesnt matter yet), and draft Mahomes. Has the best arm talent at QB in the draft but needs a year to get used to takin snaps under center in a pro offense.

How many snaps are under center anyways ? If there are 80 snaps, are there more than 10 under center. In the "new" NFL, it seems that most QB's are in shotgun most of the time.

  4. This was a Rex pick 100%. The rest of the NFL passed on him because he was a great college player who does not fit in the NFL. A different mold but the same idea as a Michael Sam or Dat Nguyen or Tim Tebow. Completely wasted Rex ego pick.

And you know he was a wasted pick, How ?

  5. He's not going to win a SB for us. Cut him

If winning a SB is your ONLY definition of success, you are in for a lot more disappointing years rather than happy years. Kelly was a FQB. Marino was a FQB. Rivers is a FQB. There are numerous others. None of them won SBs. Some never even got there.

Build your team in all 3 phases. That's the way the NYG's did it. You don't think that Eli is great do you? He is good but certainly not great, yet he won two. Keep building the team every year, including QB, but consider a playoff team or a team that makes a playoff run, not a failure. Remember the Bills of the 90's. Some SB runs, some playoffs, and some non playoff years. What I remember is - it was a helluva ride despite no SB rings.

Dalton is seriously underrated around here. Not so much around the league, though. He was sensational in 2015 and worked behind a really had OL this year and still looked pretty good. He hasn't always been very good. But two years ago he made a leap upwards. IMHO he's on the bubble of the top ten and will show that again next year if they can get the OL working again.

I'd take Cousins. If I were the Skins I'd do whatever I had to do. Knowing that I would have to pay $24 mill per year, would I acquire him for Buffalo paying two 1sts to do it? Man, hard question. I'd take him as an FA. Man, I don't know.

But in the end, this wanting to be elsewhere comes down to not thinking they're going to give him what he thinks he deserves. A long-term contract and I think he's suddenly thrilled to be there.

Four 4th quarter comebacks and 4 game-winning drives last year says he doesn't. Or at least not at a high rate.

I know that it is only one game, but did you see Dalton vs the Bills this year ?

  7. 1) Pay Tyrod, we have no other alternative better than him. He was throwing to Scrubs last year...If he is average, he is tradeable on the 2nd year of the deal

    2) Let Gilmore walk. I've seen CB greats come and go on the Bills, from Winfield, Clements, McGee, Greer etc. One thing they all did Better than Gilmore is tackle. I've never seen as fundamentally a poor tackler as him get paid elite corner money. Head down shoulder tackles with no wrap up don't work in the NFL. Kevon Seymour can step up (extend him early Eagles style).

    3) We need 2 WR's, One in top 2 rounds of the Draft (I like Mike Williams of Clemson the best, pure hands catcher and attacks the football), and one 2nd tier Free Agent. How do you properly evaluate your QB with street free agent scrubs?

    4) Let Rob Woods walk, he disappears for months at a time (I don't event want him back for cheap)

    5) Pray Aaron Williams recovers, Defense has gone in the shitter consecutive years as soon as he gets hurt. He's the heart and soul of the Defense IMO.

    6) Draft a QB round 1 or 2 depending where the value is at WR or QB when time to pick. I like Trubisky the best of the Bunch. Reminds me of Bledsoe/Rivers

    7) Dareus needs a full time life coach/personal trainer/personal chef (similar to Dez Bryant in Dallas). He's paid as the franchise player, time to act like one (you aren't 23 anymore)

    8) Lets bring back our bread and butter pressure 4-3 Defense. D-Line played contain no pressure way too much last year. We need to dictate, especially at home with the crowd roaring.

    Thoughts?

Trubisky is much more mobile than Bledsoe & Rivers.

  8.

Well, it's still early. If word gets out that teams value him much higher than you have to take him at 10 if you believe in him and know he will be gone.

Just the people in the know that talk to NFL teams initially seems like a late 1st/early 2nd.

In the draft, teams are going to come out of it with 6 or 7 picks. Ordinarilly, I think that trading back & receiving an extra pick or two is a good idea. Except, if you are looking for a QB. If you like a certain QB, then just do it & don't mess around being cute.

  9.

You must have watched about 4 youtube clips then...watch the full games and you will see plenty of him standing in the pocket and going away from primary reads. You will also see plenty of him "throwing WRs open" - everyones favorite knock against Tyrod. The kid can straight throw, mechanics be damned. All in on the Mahomes train, CHOOOOO CHOOOOOOO!

Agree. Aaron Rodgers mechanics are also bad. Who cares ?
