  1. If the Bills ever leave Buffalo, it will not be because of fan support. It will be because we are a small TV market. Why are we a small TV market? Because Toronto is not considered to be part of our TV market. Why? Who knows! All I know is that when I visit Toronto & stay at a hotel, the cable system carries the local Buffalo stations. If the NFL or the Networks counted all these viewers, we would obviously not be considered a small TV market.

Perhaps, someone could explain this apparent contradiction.

  2. Because I hated Flutie and I never saw it as gutsy. I always saw it as him stealing the spotlight for himself. He was egotistical and cockier than anyone. He played it in the media that he was a good ole boy but he wasn't. He wanted it only for himself. He was always blaming other people for loses and taking all the credit for the wins whenever he could. That should have been a Thurman TD.

    You sound like Chuck Dickerson.

  3. I like Fitz, but even a non QB coach like me can see that his mechanics need work. Look at Breese, Aaron Rogers, & P. Manning. All of their release points are at the high point of their throwing motion. I think that the drill they are using where they have to throw over a 7 1/2 ft screen will go a long way to improving his release point. Perhaps, this drill is geared exactly toward the whole release point issue. Fitz is top 20. With good coaching, there is no reason this can't be improved upon. Go Bills.

  4. You need to watch more closely. Not just Fitz, all QBs. Stop following the ball and look at their feet and legs in relation to their upper bodies. Watch where they start their windups. See if they lower their arms a tad before releasing. Fitz has had poor mechanics for as long as I've seen him play.

He's got more than a strong enough arm, though.

    GO BILLS!!!

  5. My bad but I still know the nurse and will see her tomorrow night. My mistake on the docs name though...

Then she has violated that act several times because she gives me the scoop on several players from several professional teams.

why don't you keep quiet so she doesn't get in trouble?

  6. If you really want to reduce injuries but still have exciting kickoff plays, then do the opposite of what the NFL is doing. Move the kickoff to the 40 yard line (like it was in the 60's ) but have touchbacks be placed at the 30 yard line. I think that teams would become creative and pooch kick trying to avoid the opposition receiving the ball at the 30. The running start would be reduced thus causing less full speed collisions. Of course, players are also injured all the time on on-sides kicks. Just a thought.
