Did you really just base your argument on kind words spoken at his retirement?

I lived in NOLA and watched almost every TIgers game between 2017 and 2022. Ensminger was interim OC after Les Myles was fired, TE's coach in 2017, and was OC for the 2018 season. That offense, with Burrow, was not explosive. Burrow threw for 2800+ yds and 16 TDs. Because the passing game was so unimpressive, Ogeron went to Sean Payton and inquired about someone who could help implement a pro-style offense, and he recommended Joe Brady, who was widely regarded in the area as the reason Burrow threw for 5600+ yds and 60 TDs. Granted, he was throwing to Justin Jefferson and J'Marr Chase with Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Leonard Fournette in the backfield, and Randy Moss's son at TE, but he had the same weapons in 2018.

Thank you for a thoughtful and informative post.

I think the offense issues go beyond the OC and players....this offense has been forced into a box that is our coaches vision..so we won't get an oc in here with 100% control of making an offensive system to his liking...that  alone needs to be very concerning bc no proven top level offensive mind is gonna come here and be limited to how he can run his offense

    And you know this, how?

That is what I want to know.

Who cares about the future right now?

KC just ended our season for the 3rd time in 4 years.

I mean... I can't even get myself to care about that right now.  And it's going to take a while.   I am amazed so many of you are able to do that - almost immediately - following a loss like this.

Yeah, we can and should. It's just a game. None of us are directly involved in the game or outcome, and life goes on.

    When is the draft?

I want to punch myself in the face, lay naked in the street and scream “what’s the frequency, Kenneth?” All at the same time.

To each his own on how we are handling this monumental moment in Bills history.

Go Blue.  Kick their a**.  Make us proud and euphoric.

So you’re the guy who got high, covered himself in feces, and then fell into the pit. See what you’ve started . . .

    Dodson

    Williams

    Klein

    Matakevich

That is likely to be the extent of our LB depth today. It's certainly not ideal. The Bills pretty much always have 5 LBs active on gameday, but they are left with no choice if Bernard can't play.

I would guess they'll go Dodson at MLB and Williams at WLB. If Williams is completely lost they'll pull him for Klein, or in a real emergency they'll bring Poyer down into that spot and start Cam Lewis at safety.

I like the idea of Williams starting over Klein. He is bigger, faster, and stronger. His athleticism and thumping ability are very good things when guarding Kelce and the many people the Chiefs run across the middle on crossing routes. Hit them early and often, Mr. Williams. Hit'en again.

  6. Happy Game Day TBD! As Chandler said above, "THIS IS WHAT WE’VE WANTED! Playing at Home vs KC in the Playoffs!" Well, here we are. Twelve more hours to try and distract ourselves - it will be a long day. Try to be productive and kind today, and then get ready for this week's game of the year.

The JV game starts at 3 today, and the varsity rolls out at 6:30.

And I really don't care how we do it, but . . .

    LET'S GO BUFFALO !!!

Not specifically. But if the Doctor he sees is under the feeling that 6 days is too soon, they can be overly critical of symptoms and fail them simply because they aren't comfortable being the one to make the call and put themselves on the line for a quick turnaround that could potentially lead to another head injury in quick succession. Especially following what happened to Tua and the fact that Taron has a long history of head injuries.

Again, I want him to play. I think he will. I'm hopeful he will. But I feel like a lot of posters are setting themselves up for disappointment by refusing to see any possibility that he isn't cleared. It's literally coming down to the wire.

There are prescribed tests and evaluations they do. It is a fairly objective process. He can play if he passes the tests and has no observable or self-reported symptoms.

Get those Billdoes ready to throw against the glass in the box she's in.

Serious question: DO the Bills have to give her a box? I tell her: "Yes, mam, we have a few seats available for you and your party. Would you prefer row 20 in section 316 or a row in the endzone bleachers section? Also, because of the recent snowfall, stadium parking will be sparse. I suggest you get to the Mall early and take one of the shuttle buses over to the stadium. Get there early; you don't want to be stuck in line and miss the kick-off.?"
