  1. I think so. Mainly because they have neglected their O-line over the years. QBs, no matter how good aren't going to succeed behind a crappy O-line. Aaron Rogers is the exception right now....other than him, I don't know where a QB has succeeded witha bad O-line.

Trent is a good QB. You put him on the Eagles or the Vikes and he does well. Here on the Bills, with the leagues worst O-line, not so much....

  2. Let me guess, you're blaming the fans, too?

I'm not blaming the fans. I'm just saying don't be so quick to run guys like Peters outta town. Now people are calling for Trent's head. Something is clearly wrong with this team, and many fans want to say that it's because one player or another is at fault.

Remember, how London Fletcher was run out becuase he wasn't an attacking LB, or how Pat Williams was let go (many fans supported this) because he only played 50% of the snaps. Each an eveyr step of the way, OBD feeds us the cool-aid, and now we're bitching about the results.

The problem with the Bills is a combo of things all stemming from the front office. who the hell blows up their O-line before a make or break season? Who extends a head coach 5 games into the season. Who drafts a 240lb DE for a 4-3 scheme? Who hires a 3 O-coordinators in a row that have 0 NFL playcalling experience?

OBD does enough to sell hope, and that's about it...if you buy it early, then you must live with the results.

  3. I'm shocked.

The Bills front office, led me to believe he was going to be good.

And Bills fans everywhere acted like he was going to be the next Jason Peters...the same way they thought Langston Walker would do just fine at LT after his 4 game stint there last year.

Keep drinking the cool aid guys, then B word when it doesn't work out. Ralph and company are laughing all the way to the bank with the money they saved from paying for a decent LT.

  4. I'm from Charleston SC, and got hooked during the first Super bowl run. I'm in the military now and live in florida. i've actually traveled to Buffalo for 3 games.....I've hung on, but I can't take it anymore. I refused to watch starting this week. I was actually flipping to the game (have Sunday Ticket) during commerical breaks of the other game I was watching, and realized I wasn't missing much. This is sad because I haven't missed a game for the past 5 years.

This team has failed to excite me in ten years. Every other team, except for the Lions, and the Texans, have had their moments...until something changes, and they put a better product on the field, I'm not watching. I have better things to do...

  5. LOL.

Jason Peters, probably the best player on the Bills, gets run out of town because he wants to get paid like a LT, but has a bad year.

The Bills don't draft a LT or pick up one of the many available FAs.

They move a 368 lb RT to LT....then send him packing a week before the season starts.

They put their eggs into the basket of an unproven, second yr player...who may be compentent when he's not holding, or false starting

Each step of the way, Bills fans think it may work.

Unfortuantely, we've been so accustomed to bad football, we don't realize how insane each of these moves are....this organization only wants to tread water and is going to feeding the same cool aid for years to come.

  6. During the halftime show, after highlights of the Pats* - Ravens game, regarding the roughing the passer call against Ray Lewis, told Tommie boy to "take off that skirt and put on some slacks", and to "toughen up."

LOL...I saw that too. At least he wasn't calling TO a clown.

  7. You know your offensive line is bad when you're fussing over whether Johnathan Scott or Terrence Pennington are better.

If we, as fans, and all the professional talking heads saw this O-line disaster coming what that say for the professionals at OBD who make these decisions?

Unfortunately, this reminds me of the Detroit Lions on draft day every year. Fans are flabbergasted. Talking heads are just wondering what the hell is going on...yet Matt Millen and company firmly believe they did the right thing in their draft.

  8. What about inserting him into LT? Maybe RT....right now, that the only thing that is going to help this offense any.

On a more serious note, I do think he's better than Josh Reed...for some reason JR has been holding down a roster spot despite never really producing anything over the years...

  9. How the hell can you stand by those decisions? Does he smoke crack? Look, if the d-bag can't admit that the personnel decisions made regarding the o-line are a complete abortion, he's the first (but not the last) that should go. The guy obviously isn't qualified to even wipe my butt, let alone manage a roster.

And I'm not talking about Peters or drafting 2 rookies to start. Those are issues, as well.

    1. Inserting Walker at LT

    2. Taking all of training camp to decide Walker wasn't the man.

    3. Promoting a guy who had never played.

    4. Refusing to get some talent to back up our new LT.

    5. Refusing to get veteran talent to back up our injured RT. Think Runyon or L. Walker would have been schooled like that at RT?

    6. Refusing to get veteran talent at LB.

    7. Depending on a rookie to magically generate pass rush.

    8. Depending on a rookie to magically generate talent at TE.

    9. Carrying a FB on the roster that doesn't get used in this O.

But according to Jauron, "we really like our players, they are really smart, and they really work hard."

As usual, most of us drank the cool aid. All of the prognosticators said the Bills didn't address their LT needs during the draft, and said the O-line was going to struggle. We saw hope....usually the hope lasts a little bit longer than 4 games.
