I watched every play, and enjoyed the game immensely. It was, however, NOT an showcase for the Bills passing game. Edwards managed the game adequately, the defense was very good, and the Chargers turned the ball over. The thread was about the shortcomings of the Bills passing game, especially lack of TDs. The Bills were hapless against the 3-4 defensive front seven. Most notably, they lost all 6 games in the Division. The Jets and Dolphins are 3-4 for sure. Belichick has been messing with the 4-3 during the pre-season, but I'm betting we'll mostly see 3-4 on 9/14. Tonight will be more-or-less of a typical schlockfest against the Packers, but next week will be the traditional "meaningful" pre-season game against the tough Steelers.
