  1. Thanks for clarifying. I knew he was the #1 at one time. I just didnt feel like looking it up. Nice take on Mike. He had that nice grab Friday which opened my eyes to the type of player we have. Regarding our all world player, he's gone if he makes our practice squid.
  2. Maybe in buffalo. Woods is really good. He could be a number one if on another team. Ps. Colts think they have 3 #1's too!
  3. He would have been better than corn for sure. But not by much. Thigpen = Tuel No thanks.
  4. Glad. Dont need an old ass guy who was never really good anyway.
  5. It's not Madden thinking. It's being an offensive powerhouse. Cj resembles Darren Sproles. Sproles racked up way more yards receiving vs rush yards in New Orleans. Is that Madden thinking? Get er done! Oh that's what that means... Thanks.
  6. 6 wide. Throw Cj out there too. Might as well.
  7. I'm just going to ask cuz I dont care if I'm embarrassed. What are the guys referring to when they say "in"? Correct. Even I knew that.
  8. Well you learn something new every day. Thanks for the clarification.
  9. The guy is a very smart nfl rb. Period. My only LEGIT concern is the age thing. He does get a little slower and sluggish towards the end the season. To my eyes anyway. Regarding Brown and Cj, that should be a 2 headed monster that should be used more often. Even lining up Cj in the slot. At least to make the defense coordinatos scractch their head. Of course not every play. Just to mix it up.
  10. I know how they got him. But I dont know about him. The only 2 guys that made splashes were Steve Smith and their tight end. I had never heard of lafell. just being honest anyway. Edelman and Gronk is enough for that cheating team. Ps. Has anyone noticed that their entire starting oline is made up of white guys. I know it doesnt matter. But I think they are the only team like that. Just a weird observation.
  11. Really? What do you see in him that makes him that good. (please answer this) Screw this untrained eye. My eyes are trained very well. He's wasting his opportunities. You think he will be better than Ej somehow. But dont you need a chance from a team? The boy is running out of chances... Look at Tebow. PROVEN WINNER IN COLLEGE AND THE NFL. Jobless!!!!! Playoff winner. Jobless. What has Tuel done lately? Really the Tuel lovers dont want to see it, but it's there. Against the 3's he should have smoked the other team. However he was not at his best. I wont even say he was horrible like others. He just was not that good. He should have blinded us with "the light". However he was below average... Be honest.
  12. Edelman I think right. It's not Thompkins. He sucks. I dont know much of lafell. Thanks but no thanks. Celebrate time! I'm only getting started!
  13. Ha ha. So Brady would not have benefited from this guy the first 8 games last year when the other wrs were stinking it up??
  14. I think Hogan has already passed Goodwin. Ha ha. Nice. Yes. This is exactly what I'm saying. Lol.
  15. Not in my book. It seems like you are defining a "total count" system and not a class of player. Different sport. But if Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson were on the same team, wouldnt they both be #1's??? Of course they would. They would just be playing on the same team. This is they key: If said players went to other teams, they would be #1 on their new team, which makes them a #1 period, under any scenario.
  16. That's not correct. A team could have more than one #1. A number one to me is can such player be a number 1 on another team, let's say even a team that has a need at the wr position. The number of players that fit that role could go up to 40 or 45 #1 wrs... But anyway maybe it is a little kool aid.
  17. 2 things about that. Roddy white and Julio Jones. That was 2 years ago. 13-3 record Well aint this something. We have 3! Ps. Ask the Bears wrs. The bear wrs themselves think they are the best wr corp in the nfl.
  18. Miami looked very good in their opening drive vs Atlanta. Tankthehill looked very good. This could be his best year. Just when I thought Miami would be easy... Damn!
  19. Kookie kook aid. Nope. We have 3 1's. This same wr corp in New Orleans would be breaking records or at least matching what Brees is used to. No slip in #s. Ej looked fine. When you have 3 #1's you dont need to be the best qb out there. See Andy Dalton or the qb from detroit as examples. Hogan is looking like a legit #2. You dont think Hogan would excel in Denver or New englad? He's the kind of wr that a team like that would love to have. Nice runner and oh yeah, doesnt drop passes. I bet Decker stinks up the joint in Jets town. Not because of the Jets qb situation, I just dont think he's a #1. Decker is a #2 just like Hogan is probably already a legit #2.
  20. Sammy is the bomb. You can just tell. He has all around skills. I even like his blocking skills. With our good run game, wrs need to be good blockers as well. Robert Woods. I've been praising him since last year and he looks even better this year. Mike Williams. He used to be a #1. Does he still have it? I gotta give praise when it's there. Hogan is looking super sharp. Dude, does this guy ever drop a ball???? I liked seeing him with the 1's Friday. He's not a number 1. But he's earning credit. I'm excited yall!!!!
  21. My two cent take right now is this: I have grown to like Freddy. When Lynch was here, I didnt like Fred. I'm just being honest. I always valued Lynch way over Freddy. He has done a lot of great things post Lynch. He has talent but age will become an issue this year. Cj is too explosive to be mentioned with stupid trades. I'm not going to mention how to use him. Darren Sproles or Reggie Bush should ring a bell right here. Brown is looking to be the man. Fred is a smart nfl back. However imo he gets slower as the season progresses. I dont know about depth chart usage right now. All 3 can be #1's. Play the hot hand and get the wins is all I care about right now!!!
  22. I didnt want to be the first person to say this. But of course my horse. You call this bs call and extend drives. First it was pi, now it's pi and illegal contact. Like I said, might as well get rid of the dbs. There was no jersey grabbing on any of the calls I saw. None. As a db you have to let the wr run his route, you cant get in the way. The only thing you can do as a corner back is wait till the ball gets thrown in the air. Jump straight up without touching the wr even with your hair or it will be pass interference by means of a hair whip. Sherman will get many pi's called on him, because his hair gets in the way of the wrs. What a joke the nfl is turning out to be. Honestly if they dont fix this, it will become unwatchable.
  23. I dont know Code. The commentators were making a point that they were going to be enforced seriously. Plus honestly I dont remember it being THIS bad, even in preseason. I hope you're right.
  24. You do realize regular season games carry more weight than practice right?
