  1. Per Chris Brown

Fully in the Halloween spirit, Stevie Johnson outfitted himself to a tee as his head coach Chan Gailey and then posted a photo of his look on his twitter account. So what did Coach Gailey think of it?

“No, I haven’t (seen it),” Gailey told reporters when asked about it. ”I put that in the same category with the Megamind thing – he’s got too much time on his hands.”

Johnson also referred to his head coach as Megamind after the super-intelligent alien character in the movie of the same name.

I'm hoping Chan shows up to practice tomorrow with headphones, a backpack, and skinny jeans. Maybe a beanie.

    Stevie nailed it.

  2. It's unfortunate that those who disagree with the way Tebow displays his religion are labeled as "anti-Christian." There are many, many Christians that are upset by the way many sports figures, including Tebow, conduct themselves with regard to their faith.

Not endorsing or opposing anything, just commenting on a label I see far too often.

    Regardless, this post wins:

I think we need to end the bickering in the this thread and all agree that our QB is Zach Galifiniakas.

  3. Simple question. Is there a better safety tandem than Byrd and Wilson in the league right now. I can't think of any. Wilson is getting all the plaudits (and rightly so) but I think Byrd has been as good as anyone in the league. He's going about his job quietly but does everything thats asked of him.

They're both playing spectacularly. If the second half of the season goes like the first, we should have a slew of probowlers. Jairus and George should both go.

  4. I think that's the most encouraging thing. They were 5-2 in 2008, but I seem to recall the schedule being much easier.

Plus the two losses were by a combined 6 points, both to 5-2 teams.

That's right, our wins in '08 were against horrible opponents. I remember that after beating the Seahawks (was it 34-10?) we were all ecstatic. Unfortunately that was the beginning of Seattle's demise into irrelevancy.

The fact that we are 5-2 with a tough schedule is very encouraging. I know we're doing better than expected, but I can't help it, I won't be pleased if we don't make the playoffs.

  5. I think we've imagined it for sometime, and we'll talk about it through the last game:

10-6 seems plausible given our schedule, but is 11-5 (or even 12-4) what it takes for the Wild Card?

Of course, let's hope this is all for the Pats* to worry about, because we're taking the East :) .
