From general observation, Hancock still seems confused at times in passing situations.
That's fair. I should have added a potentially obvious possibility: that poyer is playing better in practice (and games) than Hancock.

Is Hancock dinged again? That is only reason why I can think he is not taking snaps from Poyer. Poyer was very good at one time, that time has passed unfortunately.
Only thing I can think of is they must really like how Poyer is impacting Bishop. I do agree that we need to get Hancock's feet wet asap, if we want to compete down the road.

Who’s saying HOF besides you?
Is Troy polamalu not in the hof?

His ceiling is as high as his mental processing will allow for. He's getting better in that area but it's still absolutely a work in progress for a young player.
The HOF shouts at this junction are insane lol

Who was it today that clearly did NOT work back to the ball while the defensive back DID? There was a very clear and frustrating example of this today unless my in-stadium memory is askew...
Shavers.

How Tre White is still even an option outside is insanity. The time has come and gone for it to be 47 and 31. That’s the CB tandem for a half decade. Stop messing around. Tarron Johnson is beyond washed. He’s got to come off the field. I’d like to see Hancock out there with Bishop but if Poyer is helping Bishop become this…I can live with it.

They're not getting rid of him - he's on a cheap rookie contract for 2 more years. His problem is he should be ladd mcconkey or jfc even Troy Franklin. I had Ladd as a 1st round talent and Franklin as a 2nd with Coleman being a 4th/5th round flier. Franklin didn't go until the 5th (I think) and Coleman should ahve went in the 5th.
Sure, but that's irrelevant to my post. (My agreement with you notwithstanding)

The defense is not playoff caliber
Poyer needs to be replaced by Hancock
Milano needs to be replaced by Shaq
Bernard needs to get healthy, until then put in Williams
Cam Lewis is playing better than Johnson
White needs to be replaced by Max
McDefense’s loyalty to old, aging, slow vets is going to crush us in the playoffs if we don’t get some younger and faster talent on the field.
I largely agree with the sentiment. Poyer had a decent game imo but Hancock needs to be trained up quick for us to compete.

How bout Curtis Samuel's block on the Ty Johnson TD?
I would like to see Elijah Moore in the mix on Thurs. Will he take Hardman's spot?

I think Keon belongs in the league and might well be a nice role player for a team. I just don't think it's our team. Which is rough, given how many of us were screaming for separators during that draft.

The qb unfriendly thing is really linked to a handful of plays, like the play in the endzone vs the eagles in 23.
He is a pretty good player and Josh knows he will catch the ball if he gives him chances so I see it as a positive in this moment.
I have to disagree with that. It was the consistency of holding back the offense when he was playing all those snaps outside that really drove me crazy. The memorable plays don't help, but they were not an isolated thing that folks were reacting to.

why. He was always a good not great player here. When his contract was up the team just did not have the cap space to pay him the money he earned so he left.
His being here could be huge going forward. I still contend had he played in the 2023 playoff game vs KC we might win the game. He might have made that one play that diggs and harty couldn't make. Those guys dropped balls Davis always caught and we lost by a FG.
I am excited to see Davis today. i hope he makes a big play.
Because he was almost the definition of QB unfriendly when he was here. It was addition by subtraction when he left.
And now we're here with a brutal paucity of talent at receiver with a bad passing game coordinator....so we're willing to try anything. I'm hoping for the best, obviously.

I don’t even want to see Keon play again. Period. Imagine all the times Josh looked his way, couldn’t trust a throw because he was covered, had no time to go through progressions and took a sack or a no yardage play.
The irony of Gabe Davis being the replacement. My god.

Cook and Ty are a good duo. I wish we had a dialed route runner.

Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field

7 versus the requested 20 has a fundamentally different meaning. Could mean we're in the top 10 of drafting teams. Could mean we're in the bottom 5.
