I am more concerned that the Buffalo Sabres don’t have the right core to win a Stanley Cup right now. I don’t believe in Tage Thompson or Alex Tuch being Stanley Cup difference makers. If that is in deed the case then the Sabres have a whole lot of problems. I am not saying on a good team sure you want Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch but there not mentally tough enough to carry a team on there own. There both second line players not great main line players on a good team.

I am leaning towards shaking everything up for the Buffalo Sabres trading both Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch in the offseason instead of firing Don Granato and Kevyn Adams. It’s too easy to keep firing coaches and general managers. Tage Thompson had a career year and there is a reason why the Vegas Golden Knights didn’t mind parting with Alex Tuch he isn’t a clutch player in my opinion.  Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

Classy response, but what else is there to say? I don't see an obvious "snub". The team is solid.

Honestly, I think an argument could be made for both Ed Oliver (Chris Jones/Aaron Donald) and Terrell Bernard (Roquon Smith/Fred Warner).  The state lines for both are comparable if not better, IMO.  I get that it’s tough to beat out those big names though.

    You aren't missing anything.

Cocaine only has two effects on you. It either makes you want more, or it makes you want less; there is no Goldilocks zone, imo.

Now I will expose myself as a degenerate:

A buddy of mine cooked some up and talked me into trying crack. That shlt is delicious and I can absolutely see how people can become quickly addicted.

It's the kind of drug that is soooo good that I will never do it again.

I had a roommate in college who went home one weekend for his brother’s birthday, and then came back to school bragging about how he did “smokable cocaine” all night long with his buds.  I think it took him all semester to shake that one.  😆

I found the movie interesting as well.  Its not everyones taste...with society having such short attention spans now, a lot of people don't like things unless stuff is blowing up everywhere and non stop action.  But I do enjoy when movies kind of bring you along through a movie creating a tone, vibe, experience etc.

I didn't love the ending, but I also didn't hate it either as it was at least pretty clear to what happened and what was gonna happen next unlike the Sopranos where they just left everything open to interpretation by the viewer.  Although admittedly I initially hated the Sopranos ending the moment it happened, I later came to appreciate it, especially when I watched it through a second time.  Im actually about to start it over for a 3rd time since my wife has never seen it, so excited to do that as I watched it again during COVID and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time.

Yeah, I get it.  I guess there were just too many unknowns in this flick for my liking.  I have read that this was intended by the author of the book.  Although apparently the ending in the book is different than the end of the movie.  I really want to know what that horrific noise was. 😂

I just watched Netflix movie “leave the world behind.” It stars Julia Roberts and Ethan hawke and was actually produced by the Obamas.

i don’t think I have ever seen a worse movie in my life. I just had to come on here and warn people and vent— just a total waste of 2 hours. Slow and plodding for long stretches, plot is pointless, characters are all unlikeable.

I actually enjoyed it…up until the ending.  What the hell was that crap?

If you can over indulge I will find a way, while I still dabble with edibles or drinking now and again, I have come to learn over time MJ has a lot more risk than most people give it credit for. Take gummies for example, 10MG THC, no Cannabinoids. People will pop them daily. Well, who the hell knows what high potency gummies ingested daily do to a person? The research on THC has not been focused on that. I know for a certainty it impacts skin tissue healing correctly. What about high concentrations of THC without CBD? CBD is what protects the brain from potential negative impacts of THC.  Plants have both. Most gummies do not. The point is not to be a downer but people look at this like it's benign and nobody has a clue.

I’ve given some thought to this as well.  Not to mention that edibles are metabolized by the liver.  I know people who eat 100-150 mg per day.  The possibility of unknown longitudinal effects is kinda scary.

Havent been much impressed by the current dispensaries in Buffalo that I visited over Christmas.

Decent spots for picking up edibles and that type of stuff. But the flower product was just ok, and damn expensive. Going to "my guy" is still a much better option for both quality and price.

I did like Herbal IQ on Transit in Depew. Probably where I'd go back to next time as well.

I never buy flower at the dispensaries.  It’s always a little dried out, and usually more expensive than what I can get from my dude here in town.  They don’t properly handle the bud in the dispensaries.

  8. First time I encountered it was my freshman year of college.  Never in HS.  I’ve done a little bit here and there.  I think the last time was at a wedding down in Florida about 10-15 years ago.  I’m not a fan.  Never been.  But I will say that doing a little bump to keep the party going is much different than sitting around doing lines.  It’s an ugly drug for sure.

I recently almost lost a good friend who got a “bad bag” laced with Fentanyl.  He’s the type of guy that will do it 2-3 times a year.  My wife literally brought him back to life by performing CPR.  He is very lucky.  If you’re going to dabble….know your dealer!

  9. Hate to hijack the thread a bit, but what are the best wing joints near the stadium?  I’m staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Hamburg.  I see there is a Duffs in OP which would be cool.  Was thinking maybe trekking to Wingnuts or Bar Bill though.  Any thoughts?  I just don’t want to wait 2 hours for a table.

Really?  Throwing less than a pick a game is unrealistic?  Get serious.

Wrap your brain around this analogy.  Maybe this will help bc you clearly are struggling with this concept.

If I plow 45 chicks in one night it’s much more likely that I catch a few STDs than if I only plowed 14 chicks in one night.

    Get it?  😂

Why do you have to jump in and call this a stupid post? A lot easier to just not reply since you think so highly of yourself, bub.

This is funny coming from someone who clearly thinks very highly of himself.  😂

But yeah, no need for slinging an insult even if the OP is completely oblivious as to the context surrounding these two very promising rookie TEs.

I’ll explain again.  It’s OK to be happy about the win, but to also acknowledge the team did not play well.  It’s OK to acknowledge all Bills fans love having Josh as our Qb but acknowledge his throwing picks so much is a bad thing.  And so on.  These are not mutually exclusive.  And that is reality.

We won, that’s great.  But we cannot expect to play like that again.  We were fortunate to win; the next effort like that and the season is done.

Well, then thanks for your laser sharp insight, captain obvious.  🙄
